Well for starters, it would be really nice since this is a show for kids if Jodie Sweetin would not wear tops that have her "girlfriends" hanging out. There's no reason for that at all in a show aimed towards kids. It's even distracting to the adults in my family as she looks periously close to a "wardrobe malfunction" Also I did not appreciate the "double entendre" jokes written in ostensibly to entertain the adult audience as well as the kid audience. We don't need that as adults....it is a transparent device and frankly, the jokes are annoying, not that funny, and sometimes actually cringeworthy. This show could have been an enjoyable reboot to people who grew up watching it, as well as a new generation. By trying to be all things to all people, mixing humor styles, and not allowing the main characters to coalesce without being interrupted every episode by prior cast members (no matter how nice it is to see them...but every time? It would be better just to write a couple of them in as regular cast members) I wanted to like it but it's frankly a mess and by stopping halfway between the original and between a fully developed interesting sequel that doesnt depend all that much on the previous show it's ended up unfortunately being mediocre. Too bad because I always liked this show, and the actors. . Expand

Horrific. This may actually be the worst 'live audience' show I have ever seen. When I had heard the Olsens wouldn't be in this cheesy show I thought they were just being their crappy old selves but after watching this show I'm glad they steered clear.

The child actors are in constant contact with sexual innuendos(I mean TONS) made by both the adults and in their own child-to-child

The jokes are delivered worse than a Disney Channel sitcom, with horrible actors performing cringeworthy dialogue.
Not to mention the fact that the scenarios are in no way rooted in reality and the writers give no attempt to make up for this shortcoming.

I never watched the original Full House(being only 22 today) but I have watched a few episodes with my parents over the years and I can say it was much, much better than this reboot. The fact that this is the finished product and the producers decided it was good enough for TV just tells of the times. Everything is based on nostalgia. The laziness of retelling old jokes that worked decades ago is taken in place of smart jokes that go with the times.

If you enjoyed the original series I would not even bother checking out an episode of this show.

I noticed when I watched some of the clips. The jokes lack understanding; such as the boy with a green model volcano saying "I was erupting my volcano," in which the girl replies "TMI." That boy isn't telling her how volcanoes work. The fourth wall joke about Michelle at New York as fashion designer is weak. I understand they got when the Olsen twins chose not to come back. This show has sexual innuendoes that expects us to believe that is age appropriate for a family sitcom if this was rated TV-G. You know, when Fuller has a wardrobe malfunction where her breasts are shown? I read parents complain about this. There's even an STD reference. Some of you may think this reboot/sequel is meant for fans of the old series who have grown into the modern era, but this isn't a point to have. I think I know why television networks aren't interested in Fuller House, because the show is too adult for a family series. I think the Olsen twins did the right thing not to be involved in that show's wreck. Expand

The adults are like kids, the kids are like adults, the innuendo is blatant and unfunny, and important values that crosses paths with our main characters are merely just a par to make jokes out of them, not put jokes in them. This is very prominent with the subject of marriage, never has a show or movie not cared about such emotional, conflicting, and important moments such as these. So in other words, the characters are still kids in an adult’s body, and so are the writers. This show is immature, lazy, and offensive to any fan with at least an 6th grade education. Expand

It's almost like the reviewers are living inside the show, also completely out-of-touch with reality. They chose to tell the story around the weakest characters of DJ, Kimmy, and Stephanie -- because that's what they could afford. The writing, directing and acting are so bad I dare you to watch it without cringing. Sure, the original series did it, so why not now? But that was 25 years ago - have we not gotten any better with storytelling, with writing, with acting that we can scrape off the nostalgia and see this show for what it really is -- and excuse to try to substantiate Netflix from being completely irrelevant and line the pockets of those that already are collecting from royalty checks. Candace Cameron bure looks too beautiful, too sexy and getting near too old to play dj tanner from the original series this time she is a widow of three children and her best friend and her sister to take care of them after her husband died in a car accident, none of these actors performances register in this junk and you may your distracted by the wonderfully tacky production design and teleplay which is better than this banal mess, already the lead contender for the worst tv of 2016.

Take the concept of 'Full House', replace it with TV celebrities no one cares about, add a dash of cringy 4th wall humor, a pinch of meta humor and then mix liberally with a dose of family friendly 'Sex & The City' and you have Fuller House.

The entire concept falls flat on it's face. There may have been a time and a place for Fuller House, possibly two decades ago with the main cast such as Bob Saget returning. But the formula just doesn't work here.

More importantly, while Full House was a concept that families may have sat down together to watch, there's just enough adult jokes, references and very mild swearing that some of the more conservative families may not want to expose to younger children.

This entire thing is riding on a nostalgia, but it simply isn't clever or funny enough to actually succeed. I'll be very surprised if we see another season.

This show has a laugh track. The acting is really bad. The scenarios are preposterous. I was unable to connect with or like a single character. The father figure is a white man trying his best racist Mexican dialect. Every "joke" was either obvious or cringe-worthy. Why are shows like this still produced? I was hoping the bland sitcom would die a horrible death with How I Met Your Mother.

I was a big fan of the original Full House. My family and I watched the first episode and really disliked it. It was incredibly corny and we found ourselves wondering how something so good went so bad.

Well it captures the spirit of the original series.... Unfortunately.

Packed with 30 year old tropes, and jokes as sharp as soaked bread accompanied by canned laughter probably of the ghosts of its original audience.

The choice would be somewhat understandable if the series invented the laugh track or any of the other tricks it so eagerly pulls from it's wrinkled bag of tricks. This show is not necessarily good. It of course runs on Nostalgia, but sometimes that's all it has. The jokes feel really forced, stories are very predictable, and sometimes actors seem to miss their mark.
Overall this show is very corny, and not in a good way. If you are a die hard fan, go for it, just don't expect it to be exactly how you remember it.

The first episode does a nice enough job juxtaposing scenes from the original with parallel scenes in the present, but enjoying Fuller House will require a high tolerance for laugh tracks and corny sitcom humor.
