Summary: Julie is still in turmoil over Tony's bully boy tactics and tells him that he will have to fire her as she isn't willing to choose one of the others. Tony is having non of it though and tells her to come back to him with another name. As the working day draws to a close Julie plucks up the courage to stand up to Mr Gordon and tells him once and for all that he will have to sack her – but he doesn't get time to sack anyone as a stranger arrives at Underworld and makes a shocking announcement.
Tina is blaming herself for the break in at her dad's lock up and she is having second thoughts about testifying. David is adamant that she should to ensure that the Windasses get their comeuppance. Meanwhile Gail has discovered some of Joe's unpaid bills and decides that she is going to secretly pay some of them off and she speaks to Jason about the possibility of work for Joe at the yard.
Ken is fretting about the dinner party and Deirdre is less than impressed when he says he was supposed to be at the theatre. He is left with no choice but to go and see Martha and tell her that he is double booked for the evening. He tells her that he can't let the lady organizing the dinner party down –omitting to tell her that the woman is his wife.
Michelle tells Steve that as far as she is concerned it would be better if they just ignored each other from here on in. Later Leanne offers Michelle a job in the bookies.
