Summary: Peter and Leanne are delighted when George informs them that the offer on the derelict Turners joinery premises at the end of the Street has been accepted and that the planning application has been submitted to the council.

Ken, however, is furious about the latest developments with the wine bar and asks Deirdre to pull some strings with her old mates in the planning department to put a stop to the scheme.
Keen to get another job at the council, though, Deirdre refuses, prompting Ken to go behind her back and scupper any chances she had of working at the council again. Deirdre's outraged by Ken's petty behaviour.
Meanwhile, Steve finds a box of old photos in The Rovers and when Becky and Claire spot the fading shots of the pub's Christmas panto, they hatch a plan to resurrect the old tradition and stage a panto of their own. Steve's not so sure, but the idea soon begins to take shape.
Molly's not best pleased with Kevin's plans to delay splitting up with Sally until after Sophie has finished her exams. Kevin tries to apologise, though, and explain that he's just trying to do what's right for everyone.
