Jane & Charles moved to #45 two years ago. Charles is a chocolate strategist (not quite sure what this is) and Jane is a freelance copywriter. Jane & Charles moved to #45 two years ago. Charles is a chocolate strategist (not quite sure what this is) and Jane is a freelance copywriter. They don't want to see their kitchen with clean lines and a stainless steel look. They would like something more family oriented.

Kate lives in #25, with a lodger, Tim. Kate has two children and is a part time health visitor. Tim is a boat designer and lives there when he is working in London. Kate is having her bedroom done.

Linda Barker helps Kate & Tim with Jane & Charles' kitchen. Linda is thinking of a Mexican Santa-Fe look. They start by taking off the wallpaper and moving the cabinets out. They repaint all the cabinets and use zinc sheets to give the front of the cabinets a punched-tin look. They use a terra-cotta colored paint on the walls and they paint the cabinets a blue with a brown wax finish.
Graham Wynne assists Jane & Charles with Kate's bedroom. Graham wants to remove the carpeting and restore the floorboard to their original glory. They sand the floors and give them a light colored wash. Graham dyes some rugs a bright pink and sews them together with a turquoise thread. They paint the walls a bright aqua color and accent the room with white so as not to be too crazy. They also blow up some pics of Tim's boat to put on the walls.… Expand
