Ice hockey is a sport for Americans, and Canadians, but EA still delivers a great game with NHL, even for Europeans. The AI isn’t that good, as your teammates sometimes don’t understand what they should be doing. Still, NHL 14 is sensational and good as snack between all the other great games.

EA delivers a good American Football game with Madden 15. The developer and publisher offer a lot of small changes with the new title, like improved defending and additions to the playcalling, but all together manage to improve the game dramatically.

Torchlight is a relatively cheap game that will keep you entertained for hours to come. Furthermore it's fun to fight against all the enemies and it manages to stay fun, thanks to different surroundings and enemies.

Kirby: Planet Robobot is an extremely fun 2D action platformer that uses old and new mechanics from the series in smart ways. While a bit short, the game is sure to provide a fun gameplay experience.

Live A Live shows the possibilities that the HD-2D art style has. The concept of this game still holds up after 28 years and is still very unique. Every story has its own mechanics that make each story stand out from the other. The only downside of this game, is that it's sometimes necessary to fight the same enemy over and over again. Live A Live as a whole is an incredible Nintendo Switch game.

Are you looking for an arcade title where you can blow up buildings and kill countless of enemies in a campaign mode that will take around six hours to complete? Do you love screen filling explosions? If the answer is yes to both questions, then look no further, because Renegade Ops is just the right game for you.

Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowsers Minions is a delightful return to one of the best Mario games ever made. The game looks colourful and pretty and is yet again very fun to play. One of the best 3DS games of 2017 has arrived.

With Assassin's Creed Shadows, Ubisoft sticks to a familiar formula but executes it brilliantly. Add to that the new weather and season systems, along with the expanded base-building mechanics, and we’re convinced that waiting for an Assassin’s Creed set in Japan was more than worth it.

Hitman Episode 6 is a worthy ending to a great first season. Hokkaido is a breathtaking place with lots of diverse methods to kill your targets. While the ending does give us soms answers storywise, it also leaves room for more future content.

Nintendo has managed to create a shooter that is both competitive, and that everybody can enjoy. And with that they created one of the most unique games on the Wii U right now. The presentation is amazing and the gameplay is fun; the single player is okay.

In a year in which festivals have gone extinct, Fuser brings them back in a major, digital way. While the gameplay can be quite difficult to master, it is really fun to mix and match the many different music styles. It would've been nice if the progression system was better though.

After it's debut on the Wii U, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE returns for the Switch for a second chance to stand in the spotlight. Even though this typical JRPG is charming, it sometimes because a little bit too difficult for it's own good. Luckily new additions to the soften this blow and makes Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore a very enjoyable feel good title to play.

Dual Destinies is the fifth game in the Phoenix Wright franchise and is a great addition. With a new playable character and her own techniques the game refreshes itself. It gets rather complicated sometimes, which can be quite annoying.

With the next-gen version Rockstar has brought us the ultimate version of Grand Theft Auto 5. The graphics have been improved a lot, the loading times are much faster and the PS5-version even has a couple of features for the DualSense controller. The question, however, is whether you want to replay the same adventure again, as there is no new content, nor any improvements or additions to the gameplay. A version purely made for newcomers or true fans of GTA 5.

Thanks to a mix-and-match of different genres Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the best Star Wars-game is years. Combat and traversal is challenging and diverse, puzzles will require your brain and Force powers are cleverly used in every part of the game. Besides all that it even provides a more than decent story for fans of the franchise.

Age of Mythology: Retold is not just a re-issue of an RTS classic, but an overhaul that brings the world of Mythology to modern times. Borderlands 4 is for the most part a big step forward. The gameplay feels better than ever, the Vault Hunters have much more personality and you get tons of movement upgrades. The world however is not as diverse as previous games, the structure of the story makes it feels a lot smaller and Gearbox hasn't yet mastered the technical side of the game. Hopefully the technical problems can be fixed before launch.
