Trials Evolution just might be the best Xbox Live Arcade game out there. There's a ton of trial and error going on, but you'll keep coming back for more no matter what.

Uncharted 3 brings a unique adventure that you'll never forget. We love the Hollywood cinematics, we love the gameplay, we love the graphics. The game can be linear but the fantastic storyline and the spectacular cut scenes will keep you going until the credits appear.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake might be an early contender for Game of the Year 2020 thanks to a wonderful retelling of an iconic game. While it's only the first part in a larger story, there is no denying that the reworked combat system, deep RPG mechanics and iconic characters feel right at home in 2020. The graphics and music themselves are art and with new elements in the story there is plenty of love to go around even when you’re not going after Shinra.

Fez is a videogame with brilliant puzzles that will kill your brain. It might take you a while to crack one of these puzzles, but the payoff is great! Together with the beautiful and atmospheric graphics, Fez makes for one hell of an Xbox Live Arcade game.

A must-buy. Loyal fans should play it again, because the adventure looks better then ever in 3D. Furthermore the game is suitable for new people. It is the best 3DS-game one could find in stores right now.

Dead Space is a great re-invention of the original that perfectly balances the look and feel of the original, while incorporating new and updated gameplay elements of later entries in the series. Gamers will feel right at home while playing, but will enjoy the many improvements. Graphics and sound are brought up to date with current standards, making this the true definitive version of Dead Space.

The new Smash Brothers has a lot to live up to, but it manages to deliver on all fronts. Smash Tour is slightly disappointing, but everything else is top-notch. From the addictive gameplay to the pretty graphics and new modes; this is Nintendo's best Wii U game.

God of War is even better than it was in 2018 thanks to the power of the PC. With an uncapped framerate, native 4K and Ultra-Wide Screen support the game looks amazing and plays even better. If you're new to the series, this is the place to start.

NBA 2K16 is the best basketball game you can get nowadays. With a story by Spike Lee, titled Livin' Da Dream, it is a great sports game. Unfortunately the story isn't as good as promised, but the gameplay is marvelous again.

It Takes Two is an amazing game that keeps players on their toes with its impeccable pacing in both story and gameplay. This 3D platformer mixes genres every step of the way in a magical ride through different locals. At the center, though, is a great love story full of heartwarming moments and plenty of laughs to boot.

Forza 4 truly is the best racing game for the Xbox 360 and improves on almost every aspect. We would have liked to see more damage being done to the cars but the ton of online modes and the improved career mode will make you forget about the few errors.

It's not common for an editor to beg a consumer to buy a game. This time I'm going to beg you to buy one of the greatest role playing games this year. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings definitely brings the RPG genre to a higher level. And damn, it's totally not linear either. Buy it!

Rayman Origin proves that multiplatform games don't have to be a load of bull on the Wii. The game may even be better on Wii, because the offline co-op mode better fits the console. The Wii Remote may come with its own problems but they are easily resolved by adding a Nunchuck or Classis Controller. Good job, Ubisoft!

NBA 2K15 might be the best sports game of the year. NBA Live is not a competitor for NBA 2K15, as 2K15 is way better thanks to the great gameplay, thorough MyGM-mode and the phenomenal A.I.

Final Fantasy XVI is a complete package with a refreshingly mature storyline, full of surprises that keeps raising the stakes. The switch to real-time fights is a daring step, but works most of the time, as long as the graphical effects don't blur what's going on. The game can be greatly adapted to facilitate those that mostly play for the story, but also those that are looking for a real challenge. The most epic fights, those between the Eikons, are visually impressive, but a bit too hands-off.

This remaster might feel a bit superfluous as the original PS4 version was already great. However, the added features including the commentary, deleted scenes and the new roguelike game mode are welcome additions. For new players, this remastered version is definitely the right choice. For owners of the PS4 version, the extras and extra graphical fidelity might be enough to entice the relatively small upgrade fee.

Many would consider remaking a classic like Resident Evil 4 impossible. However Capcom has taken up the gauntlet and managed to make the classic even better. With an expanded storyline, better movement options and fighting skills, as well as many big and small quality of life improvements, this remake is better in almost every way, except for the graphics, which could have done with a bit more polish
