The first handheld version in the Super Smash Bros series is a great one. The action we know and love translates perfectly to a smaller screen, and the new fighters and game modes will keep you coming back for hours and hours on end.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne is an expansion by the book. There is tons of new content, including exciting new monsters, weapon and armor sets. The Clutch Claw and new attacks add to the gameplay and are really needed for the challenging Master Rank quests. On PC the new areas look even better, including support for widescreen. We still recommend however to avoid mouse and keyboard. If Capcom can keep this quality up, the franchise has a bright future ahead.

Unravel 2 is amazing thanks to clever puzzles and fantastic coop. It's beautiful and has some great gameplay, but playing alone lessens the experience. The music is the unsung hero, because it's majestic throughout the entire playthrough.

Capcom took what they learned from years of Monster Hunter and improved upon it in Wilds. The combat feels great, the world is alive and there's lots of fashion to boot. It's a shame you can't display all the creatures you collect, and new players might struggle to get started. But once you're off, there's nothing better.

Thanks to a mix-and-match of different genres Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the best Star Wars-game is years. Combat and traversal is challenging and diverse, puzzles will require your brain and Force powers are cleverly used in every part of the game. Besides all that it even provides a more than decent story for fans of the franchise.

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition is a true joy to play, in no small part thanks to quality of life improvements in the UI, and gameplay tweaks that streamline the experience significantly. Add to that the new story content that clears up several loose ends of the original and you have a certified must-play for fans and newcomers alike.

Ezio is the evolution of AltaĂŻr. The game shows improvement and keeps you fascinated because it offers enough variation. The graphical performance is high and the sound is just fine. This game just simply can't be missing from your collection!

Team Bondi and Rockstar have made something completely unique and appealing. Los Angeles is full of bad guys and finding them may not always be that difficult. It is however always fun to do so. Making L.A. Noire a truly inspirational game that will last for hours.

Fire Emblem: Awakening is not just the best strategy game at the moment, it is also the most challenging 3DS game yet. It takes some time to learn the ropes, but when you take some time to invest in the world of Fire Emblem: Awakening, you won't leave until you saved the land of Ylisse.

I Am Alive is a great game and it clearly has its similarities with Assassin's Creed. But don't worry, you'll definitely get that typical survival feeling. Unlike Altair and Ezio, you are not a superhero and have you'll have to take a stamina bar into account. The combination of the AC feeling and the survival theme makes I Am Alive a great game. It's a pity that the controls aren't always as smooth.

It seems that number seven is indeed a lucky number, because Mario Kart 7 is the best 3DS-game yet and the most succesfull Mario Kart-game in the series. Thanks to the superior additive of air gliders, which can be useful for navigating through the air, and of propellers to drive underwater, the levels are better than ever. We've got ourselves a new favourite Mario Kart!
