Dark Souls is one of the most difficult games of the year and adds a lot of crazy enemies and surroundings. The co-op could have been done better but that shouldn't stop you from engaging in this sixty hour long adventure.

Mario Tennis Aces is a great game which everyone can enjoy. Even for those who do not game that often. It is great that there is a Story Mode, though it actually still feels a bit unbalanced. You can play with a bunch of characters and there is a great deal of content to enjoy.

Dark Souls II is a sequel done right in every way. There is more to explore, mechanics from the first game are polished and further expanded. Fans will be happy to know that the game is still challenging and at the same time it is more accessible for newcomers.

DiRT 4 brings the best of all its predecessors to one game. It's just arcade-y enough while still giving fans of simulators what they want. All in all, it is the perfect rally experience out there at the moment.

Gods & Kings is a very complete expansion pack. The added espionage and the new and improved religion system make this game a lot better. Civilization V has become a lot deeper with this DLC and almost all of the original problems have been fixed.

MachnineGames delivers with this port of one of 2024's greatest games, and fixes some of the bugs that detracted from Indy's fantastic adventure the first time around. This is the definitive way to play Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on a console.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sports an excellent return for Cal Kestis and his adventures to escape the grasp of the Empire. Thanks to a ton of new additions in both gameplay and customization, you've never felt closer to being a Jedi than in this game even though the performance could've been better.

South Park The Fractured But Whole is a great RPG that not only plays great, but also recreates the unique atmosphere of the show without any flaws. The game is a blast to play on the go, but at home you'll also enjoy every second of this journey.

The fourth episode of Tales from the Borderlands is the best one: a hilarious shootout with Rhys, a story you want to explore and that typical Borderlands humor. The emotional aspect doesn't work quite as well here, but it still holds up.

There's no denying Tears of the Kingdom is played best on the Nintendo Switch 2, but the new edition can be somewhat frustrating thanks to the Zelda Notes app that isn't as functional as you would like it to be.

Deathloop proves that the concept of Groundhog Day also works in games. The story is phenomenal, mostly thanks due to the excellent voice-acting. Arkane focuses again on stealth, but also gives the play more options for all-out warfare, with a plethora of guns, special powers, and upgrades. The stay on Blackreef Island can get a little bit repetitive after multiple time loops, but the island itself is beautifully crafted, and the ending makes it all worth it. Arkane once again hit it out of the park.

The fifth episode of The Wolf Among Us is a fitting end to a amazing series by Telltale games. A bunch of questions are answered, and there is constant feeling of tension throughout the episode. Because Cry Wolf ties everything together in a amazing way, The Wolf Among Us becomes one of the best games Telltale ever made.

After the not-so-original New Super Mario Bros games, it is lovely to see Mario and his friends in an adventure that is truly worth playing. The vast range of power-ups is great, especially the catsuit which makes Mario not only adorable looking, but also handy. His claws are an awesome extra to fight the fun, new enemies. It is a pity that this game is a bit easy, but you can challenge yourself by playing co-op with annoying friends or go on a green star hunt. It's not Mario Galaxy, but very surprising and of very high quality like we know of that plumber.

Like an insane stunt pilot in the Red Bull Air Race, World of Warplanes manages to leave an excellent impression. But Wargaming has to keep proving themselves in the future if they want us to remain impressed. It's easy to find great satisfaction, however, when you roam the game's skies with Ride of the Valkyries on the background, while you're bringing death and destruction in your own personal aircraft.

LEGO Jurassic World contains a perfect balance between hilarious humor and fun gameplay. It also has great co-op, and revives many of the old favorite Jurassic characters and locations. Combine all this with some cool easter eggs and the fact that the game has zero bugs, and we can easily say it’s one of the best LEGO games in years.
