It's almost disappointing that the whole fantasy trapping that the puzzle game has been wrapped around got some short shrift - but the puzzle game at the core is quite simply good enough that the game delivers what it is supposed to - a puzzle game that serves up some story, some setting, and some consequences to the aftermath of each round that you play.

Final Fight: Double Impact is going for 800 MS points and is worth every penny of it. Updated graphics, sound, and the ability to transform the game into the actual arcade makes this game a must have in any game library.

If you’re a fan of coop gaming action this is your game.

While the game is nowhere near perfect and has many bugs, you’ll have so much fun the rest of the time that you’ll simply forget about these nuances.

It would seem that Dreamworks and Activision have found themselves with a multimedia hit on their hands.

The music is excellent, and all of these factors come together to give a FPS experience which was very story- driven and cinematic. Combine this with the legendary multiplayer, and you get a console shooter which was arguably the Halo for 2000's N64 - groundbreaking, enjoyable, and setting the standards for all to follow.

While the story is fantastic the gameplay leaves me frustrated at the best of times. If THQ had given the developers an advance and allowed them to do a couple more months of fine tuning and beta testing I’m certain we would have seen a different score.

XIII will definitely be remembered for it’s spectacular visuals and suiting score I’ll remember it for it’s interesting story and wonderful characters that Square even make the lip syncing match the English voices; something that I wish all JRPG’s would do for the added immersion.

The breadth and depth of this title is outstanding. To have it offered as a 1200 point Xbox Live Arcade title is stellar.

At the end of the day, fans of Bad Company, and the Battlefield series are going to get more of what they expected, new players should be pleasantly entertained and those who didn't enjoy the boys the first time around, probably won't enjoy them this time either.

The learning curve is steep, often frustrating and the controls are almost revolutionary but it says a lot when after more than 5 hours of play I'm still in the minors and I've barely touched many of the other gameplay features. This title will keep you coming back and will try at every turn, to make you a stats fan.

At 800 Microsoft Points, this game is a steal for fans of the genre, and those new to it a like. It's a perfect Arcade title, and a joy to pick up and play all at once, or in little doses over time.

In all, Greed Corp is very different from typical strategy but a lot of fun - it feels like a really good tabletop board game and is easy to play, and is well put together.

Overall, there just isn't enough here to justify your time or your dime. Risen's got some depth and some detail, but you won't be able to get around the frustrating controls, irritating character development and levelling system, difficult combat, and sheer unfriendliness long enough to enjoy the story or the visuals.

At 800 points, this game is so charming that if you even remotely enjoy puzzle solving, it’s worth the purchase. Don’t take my word, try the demo, but be prepared to crave some delicious pie afterwords.

It’s hard to fault the game for doing what worked the first time but I definitely didn’t feel the same sense of awe and wonder while slowly stumbling through Rapture this time in my encumbering suit.

With KrissX being offered for 800 gaming points, the 'price point' does seem a bit high on the surface, but those who give it a chance will be surprised by the addictive nature.

Bioware has done it again; and even better this time.

It's an interesting take on the Twin-stick shooter genre and while the story really isn't anything special or engrossing, at least it has one unlike the majority of others.

Serious Sam reminds me of a great cult movie hit; the fans get it and love it and the rest don’t see what’s so special or understand. Don’t go in expecting anything innovative, just turn off your brain, blow tons of aliens up and enjoy what a mindless shooter Serious Sam excels at being.

This is a truly stunning sequel to a very unique game. While most of the issues from the first offering have been addressed, it’s the additions in this game that really drives it over the top.

If you see this title being offered around the 400 Microsoft point range, give it a try; if only to battle the exploding penguins and evil Lighthouse.

Overall, Darksiders has a crap ton of content, and it has quickly become a new and exciting intellectual property for THQ.

If you got this as a freebie ,good for you, if you find it in the (heavily) discounted bin then try it out (it should be there by Friday).

Alien Breed Evolution is classic gameplay fun, brought up to date with great graphics and by the outstanding group at Team17.

In all, The Saboteur is a very enjoyable game; for me. Some may be disappointed but given the chance you'll find the game play features (of which I've only touched on in this review) are comfortable, if not revolutionary.

The game looks incredible, but that perfect combination of terrain deformation and reflex controls, make a great combo.

Overall this is a typical XBLA porting of a great game; easily identifiable, playable and most of all enjoyable.

Simply put, Assassin’s Creed 2 is a much more enjoyable experience front to back and much better put together.

Ride is the type of game that you have to warm up to, but then is suddenly sucks you into the excitement and you catch yourself trying to beat your last run of tricks, or speed run.

This is a finely tuned re-installment of the game and one that includes the trademark visuals, sound, game play and tradition that Valve has steeped within it's most favored franchises.

Modern Warfare 2 is sensational, and sets a very high bar in the Call of Duty series. Well done guys!

If you are looking for a game that will keep your attention for days and months at a time, envelop you in a story that is all based around you, provide you with an amazing soundtrack and sound effects, and ultimately give you a gaming experience you will never forget.... pick up Dragon Age Origins.

If you’ve grown stale of the band games out there or simply want something new to try and love the music genre, I completely recommend DJ Hero without hesitation.

Forza Motorsport 3 may look like any other racing game out there, but being able to have players enjoy themselves even if they aren’t that skillful speaks loudly.

The Way I See It: A fun, simple though at times frustrating romp through the adventures of Ben Tennyson which will keep young fans of the series entertained, and the rest a little lost and confused.

THQ has really listened to what fans have wanted and made WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2010 the best in the series yet and have really embraced their tag line “ It’s your world now”

Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising is a realistic, slower paced approach to the military shooter than what most gamers are accustomed to.

While the spirit of the series is here, the execution simply needs to be refined from the ground up; hopefully soon we will have another SAW game that is actually in Jigsaw’s caliber.

Although it would have been interesting to actually use and maneuver yourself while in the Drop Pods, the story is fleshed out and the flashback levels has the warming welcome from Halo that we’ve enjoyed many times before.

With the cheaper price point, it’s hard to resist this if you are a pinball lover or want to relive some authentic pinball action.

With almost no replayability I do get the short term appeal of the game but the long term shelf life is simply not there and it will gather dust or be traded in shortly after completion.

If you enjoy simulation racers you definitely need to give Shift a few test laps, once you get past the fact that it’s not a street racer, you can settle in and enjoy it for what it is…a commendable tier racer with more under the hood, where it counts.

Overall, the changes made definitely add to the game. They haven't reinvented the franchise, but they allow players to be more engaged and offer that authentic feel in gameplay, team management and knocking each others heads off.

Harmonix definitely revolutionizes the way band specific games are done. They’ve built a loving tribute to an iconic band which should provide hours of enjoyable gameplay and extras for fans of The Beatles, and Rockband a like!

IL-2 doesn’t try and wow players with a certain gimmick or crazy stunts; it is simply the best recreation of its era’s airborne warfare that you will find.

So if you enjoy rolling in the “Dirt”…had to do it, Dirt 2 is well worth your time and gaming dollar, a great racing package was delivered by Codemasters with this one.

Section 8 looks great, sounds above average and tries really hard, but the short campaign mode will disappoint the non LIVE players; there are some out there, and the LIVE experience for me was just too much work for little reward.

So much detail has been given to the game; graphically, sound, and even how Batman’s cape flows and becomes mangled throughout the engaging story that will take roughly around 10 hours or so to complete the first time.

Just to give you folks an idea, I was able to muscle my way thru the game on normal in about 7 hours. But, I’ve only scratched the surface, the replayability is really high for this game as you can go through it over and over.

If you are an absolutely huge Wolfenstein fan and want to see what happens to B.J. in the next chapter of his story, then I would recommend it, but there is little to no replay value and with an incredibly simplistic online, I would still have a hard time recommending this to anyone regardless of brand loyalty.

Overall Madden 10 is a great football experience for anyone who doesn’t have animosity for EA and isn’t a fan boy of the former competitor.

All in all, this is a very good game, while with its flaws, overall submerses the gamer into the world of G.I. JOE.

All in all, SNK PLAYMORE has more than fulfilled expectations of what would be expected from this series.

Overall, once again EA delivers with yet another awesome college experience video that any football fan should have in their game library.

I honestly had this title under my radar but by the end of it all, I did quite enjoy its entertainment value; and finding a decent Western game is no real easy task with so few being released these days.

This game is fast and furious. There is constant action similar to the movie and there is rarely every a dull moment.

I have to recommend this game to anyone that enjoys a comical satire or parody as well as whimsical dark humor. It's full of destruction, fun and mayhem and the game really never gets stale throughout the entire campaign or the multiplayer.

With a great story (albeit short) and the actual cast voicing their original characters, even if you are somewhat of a Ghostbusters fan, this game deserves to be beside your Ghostbusters I and II dvds and is big enough service to the fans to please almost anyone.

Make sure to remember you will be getting absolutely nothing new game-wise in Smash Hits; you will only be able to replay the classics from Guitar Hero 1, 2, 3, and Aerosmith with all your instruments.

If you enjoyed Spiderman 2 or Crackdown’s gameplay (especially for the free roaming) then Prototype is a must; if you want to simply destroy anything in your path and feel absurdly powerful, then get ready for some of the most frantic and gratifying combat you’ll experience without having to worry about all those moral choices.

Honestly speaking, if you are a fan of golf or the Tiger series than this game should most definitely be in your library. Do yourself a favor and go check it out.

Over all THQ and Volition have created a game that allows you the gamer numerous ways to enjoy the campaign and extend play time with great customizable online MP.

FUEL is a very cool world that’s been designed nicely with some great weather effects although lacks some depth in the gameplay to really draw you in like I really wanted.

I highly recommend the game to folks that are fans of Pixar and to those that have younger children in their household.

UFC Undisputed is an excellent recreation of the actual sport as you will find. If you weren’t watching the screen you would think an actual UFC event was on TV from the quality of the sound and announcing quality.

Do yourself a favor and check this title out.

Bottom line is, if you like super hero games then this one should really be a no brainer for you as its fun to just run around dismembering every single part of an enemy’s body.

I forgot how great Butcher Bay really was even though I’ve completed it years ago. Even if you’ve completed it before hand as well, it’s worth experiencing again even if it’s only for the achievements.

There are so many issues that need to be fixed or outright changed before this would be an offer you can’t refuse.

It does have a certain charm to it for simple mindless fun, but those looking for a deeper story or combat will be disappointed from the general clichés.

If you go into this game with an open mind and realize it has no association with SVR then you should love it.

The title had promise and looked like it was going to be quite fun to play after playing through the first level or 2, but once the novelty wore off that’s where the game then became repetitive and quite frankly a bit boring.

While the series may be a different entity now than it was over a decade ago, it has evolved and changed, yet still does superb at delivering an interesting and deep story with exceptional production value.

Even without having the iconic Master Chief fronting the heroism, Halo Wars brings a great story along with matching gameplay that even players unfamiliar with the genre can learn and enjoy easily.

In the end, H.A.W.X is a fun game to pick up and play with some buddies online in either co-op or even online versus but for anything more than that it’s a bit disappointing.

If you seriously play this game with an open mind you will see that it has a lot of potential to be one of the best baseball games ever next year. Sure this year lacks some polish and options.

Hardcore RPG gamers might strive for more in the end but anyone starved for a decent RPG title will find an adequate title here, so strap in and head towards the endless star ocean.

Overall SFIV is a great game with a lot of depth. Plenty of combos to learn for each character, plenty of unlockables and online play should give fans of th series plenty of gameplay time.

I really enjoyed playing through the game and Leveling up Afro to learn his new skills and unleash the fury on my enemies, but sometimes found myself getting frustrated with the camera when having to wall run and crisscross jump and occasionally in a fight.

Creating new spots and sharing them; along with the Hall of Meat is more than enough fun to warrant the purchase alone regardless of its faults.

I’m afraid that Prince of Persia fits right in that group of games like Mirror’s Edge and Dead Space where they’re really good games whose only shortcomings are that they’re moderate length single player games.

It’s hard to judge Last Remnant as it does have quite the amount of flaws, but underneath all of the problems, there is an interesting story and new gameplay.

It plays very similar as the previous Tomb Raider games and it feels like it’s time for a new take on Lara’s adventures.

If you are even remotely a zombie movie fan, this title deserves a chance as many zombies will be killed in the playing of his game; and that is always a good thing.

Overall SSW is a decent game and you'll find some fun for a while with both single player and multiplayer.

My suggestion is to play the free demo and if you enjoy the small section you get to play and love time trials then definitely pick this up and take this leap of Faith.

Overall, Nuts and Bolts is a fairly fun platformer that most folks should enjoy.

When it all boils down to it, much of World at War is COD4 with a World War 2 overlay.

Overall, WWE Smackdown vs Raw definitely lays the smack down on its predecessors and opposition.

Gears of War 2 is a perfect example of blending game and art. An engrossing plot with emotion and battles on an absolute huge scale make this simply an experience that needs to be had by any gamer.

Overall, Tom Clancy's End War delivers a solid gaming experience even to those who are not so much fans of the real time strategy games.

Honestly, this truly is one of those kids only games.

The people at Bethesda are well-known for making games with incredible longevity and replay value, and Fallout 3 is another solid, worthy achievement by this studio – you can be sure that down the road there’ll be expansions or downloadable content for this already sizeable experience.
