A lack of a local multiplayer mode is a shocking omission, the audio is instantly forgettable (it's a predictable military score), and the single-player mode is boring as hell. But the online component, when you get a game with real people, provides great fun and the Team Fortress 2-style weapons and art style should appeal to most. Better than a kick in the groin.- VideoGamer

We can safely say that Meteos Wars isn't as good as its dual screen brother, but don't take that to mean you should cast the thought of forking out your hard-earned MS Points aside.- VideoGamer

1200 MS Points might seem a little steep for a game that originally came out ten years ago, but this is a true classic and a game that stands up very well today. Visually it's certainly showing its age, but the HD spruce up means it's by no means ugly and the core gameplay is just as universally appealing as it ever was.- VideoGamer

Some of the best presentation the Wii has seen makes this hard not to enjoy, but frequent camera issues and repetitive combat try their best to get in the way of the fun.- VideoGamer

We'd like to recommend The Fallen King, but because of the stylus control scheme and the unforgivable lack of an alternative, we can't.- VideoGamer

If you've been waiting for the ultimate version of GTA 4, then this is it, providing you can put up with a fair amount of hassle to get the game running well and all the services you need to sign up to in order to play the game in the first place.- VideoGamer

Chrono Trigger is brilliant for loads of reasons: the unobtrusive combat, the time-traveling plot, the incredible character design, the entrancing music, but what impresses most is how great it plays despite the fact it's 14 years old. It feels fresh, vibrant and innovative.- VideoGamer

A stale JRPG with interesting combat and lovely graphics that's crippled by technical deficiencies.- VideoGamer

The werehog levels reek of an idea born out of trying to turn Sonic into something that kids like, instead of just giving them the Sonic many of us grew up with. We didn't need gimmicks back then and we don't think kids need them now either. Ultimately we can't help but feel disappointed... yet again.- VideoGamer

Skate It is better in theory than it is in practise. We can forgive the awful Wii Balance Board controls because you're not forced to use Nintendo's Wii Fit peripheral to play the game. But we just can't get away from the fact that EA's focus on creating a hardcore skater sim has resulted in a frustrating experience, for no other reason than the Wii itself isn't built for that kind of game.- VideoGamer

Your enjoyment of Skate It on DS will largely be determined by your enjoyment of skateboarding in general. The controls are fiendishly difficult but, if you're into the sport, they're rewarding to master.- VideoGamer

A visually stunning, epic adventure that continues Crystal Dynamics' excellent run. We reckon it's the best completely original Tomb Raider (Anniversary was, of course, a remake) we've had in years, and is only let down by the odd control quirk and camera issue.- VideoGamer

The mini-games here are far better than those in last year's disappointing sequel and the Balance Board support gives it some unique novelty value.- VideoGamer

It's the only game of its type on the 360, it's got brilliant microphones and it at least tries to allow you to expand the potential track-list to infinity. If you like karaoke, and you have friends or family that like karaoke, it's a damn sight better in-law entertainment option than charades this Christmas, and for that we should be eternally grateful.- VideoGamer

Essentially, Metal Slug 7 is one for the fans, designed with an "if it ain't broke don't fix it" mentality. There's nothing here that revolutionises the series, indeed there's nothing here that looks remotely modern.- VideoGamer

No problem proved bad enough to significantly tarnish my experience and on the whole Sports Interactive has tweaked an already brilliant game to make something even better. If you want a high stress virtual job on top of your real one, have hours to burn each day looking at an interactive database, and fancy yourself as the next Alex Ferguson, Football Manager 2009 might be the only game you'll need until this time next year.- VideoGamer

There's no doubt that Biology Battle is an extremely polished title. It lacks some refinement in the menu designs, but in-game it's easily good enough to pass as a full Xbox LIVE Arcade title. The problem the game and its developer has is that Geometry Wars can be bought for 400 MS Points and the sequel can be had for 800 MS Points - the same price as Biology Battle.- VideoGamer

There are games you want everyone to play, just so they can experience what you've such a good time with, and Left 4 Dead is one of them. It's unlike any other game I've ever played and demonstrates the true power of cooperative gameplay.- VideoGamer

After EA's recent run of quality, it came as quite a shock that Undercover simply doesn't feel ready. The in-game performance is frankly terrible and one of the main event types is deeply flawed. We can't deny that there's still fun to be had here, especially in the highway battles (and with some of the dialogue), but we simply can't recommend a game that performs so poorly that it's at times unplayable.- VideoGamer
