Super Mario 3D World itself is an amazing joy ride with excellent platforming sections and amazing gameplay, but adding Bowser's Fury and it's incredible new and innovative concept of an open world Mario game, and you get a game that is bigger then the sum of its parts.- Vgames

The Medium is an ambitious game, for a studio like Bloober Team, this would probably have been too big of a challenge to take on a few years ago. The studio took a different approach to their horror games and focused on the narrative and interesting mechanics to make for an amazing game.- Vgames

This is one of the best games in the Hitman franchise and definitely the best game in the "World of Assassination" Trilogy by IO Interactive. This is a must play for anyone into Hitman and a great ending to Agent 47's story.- Vgames

It's great to see Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game back in action on our consoles, and the game has aged great. It's still one of the best beat-em-up games you can find on consoles today.- Vgames

Panic Button did the impossible once more, with an amazing conversion of a great game for the Nintendo Switch. Sure, the cut backs are visible, but the end product is very good, and it's a great port.- Vgames

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a fun puzzling game if you like both Puyo Puyo and Tetris and you get something more. Unfortunately it is not a very impressive game and feels cheap at times, the biggest problem is the lack of cross play on top of a small community.- Vgames

Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)- Vgames

Hivebusters shows that even a 3-hour long experience can be a fun and fulfilling one, if done right. The Coalition just showed us that the Gears franchise is in very good hands.- Vgames

This is, by far, one of the most important games Nintendo has ever created. A game that manages to blend seamlessly between the workout and fitness world and the RPG gaming genre. It's an amazing game, and as one who finished it - it's worth every drop of sweat.- Vgames

Immortals Fenyx Rising is the baby of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Breath of the Wild, and while the latter's inspiration is quite visible here, Immortals charm, be it from its story telling or style, covers up for a lot of the comparisons, making it a unique experience.- Vgames

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is the best way to get into the game if you don't already own it, with amazing graphics, performance and next to no loading time. It lands all of its punches perfectly.- Vgames

Despite having high hopes for Hot Pursuit's new remastered version, I found it to be just another mediocre Need for Speed game, using the name of the veteran series, without actually living up to it.- Vgames

Just like a next gen release title, Yakuza: Like a Dragon is the next gen for an aging game series, and I don’t mean it in a bad way, but that is a welcomed change. I will miss Kiryu as a protagonist, but Ichiban Kasuga is wonderful as well, he is relatable and isn’t afraid to say what he feels, and so will I: this game is amazing and I hope you’d like it too.- Vgames

It's one of the best games of 2020, on a console that let's me play it everywhere. Sure, it doesn't look as pretty but it does look pretty and plays in silky smooth 60 FPS. It's an amazing port and Switch owners should really buy it.- Vgames

This is hands down, the best Musou game for the Switch, and a great action title. The music is fantastic, the action is crisp and fast paced, the theme of a great war is preserved throughout the game and the story has an interesting take on the famous war of Breath of the Wild. If it wasn't for the Switch being a weaker platform, hampering it's looks and performance, this may have been a game of the year contender.- Vgames

While not on the same level as Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon's Souls, this launch title is still a banger and a very good platformer, even though it has its numerous shortcomings.- Vgames

The game looks miles better than its PS4 and Xbox One counterparts, but a fresh coat of paint and better animations can't fix the biggest issue NBA 2K21 and every other 2K game in the past 4 or 5 years have: Microtransactions.- Vgames

Black Ops Cold War is a good game, no question about it, but it's also a warning shot for Activision in regards to the Call of Duty franchise. The story campaign of this game was lackluster way too often and the multiplayer aspect of the game will probably be overshadowed by the more popular Warzone. The next game in the series needs to do something drastically different.- Vgames

Dirt again presents fun rally races but at the same time fails at the same point: It's kind of the same game that came to exhaustion fast and thrown away to play a new game.- Vgames

The best thing about this wonderful remake is that it truly feels like a new "Souls" game, rather than an old one being brought back to life. The graphics are incredible, the music is wonderful and the kingdom of Boletaria was recreated beautifully by Bluepoint Games. If you managed to get a PS5, but still haven't played this game, you're wasting your time.- Vgames

While the previous game was pretty straight forward with what you can do and what you came for, Valhalla is more of a work in progress. You have to put some work in order to get the most out of the game: Invest in your settlement, explore the right places, raid, raid, and raid. Valhalla tries to get the best of both worlds - the new RPG-like Assassin's Creed and the features from the original game. Sometimes it succeeds, but sometimes it fails. The plot is a classic Ubisoft plot, The side missions are way better than any other game in the series, and the combat feels realistic in a good way, once you get the hang of it. It's a must for an Assassin's Creed lover, and highly recommended for any other gamer.- Vgames

Astro's Playroom is charming, fun and makes amazing use of all the new Dualsense features. Is it a perfect game? No, not at all - it's quite short and too easy. But this is probably the best game Sony could've shipped with PS5 consoles.- Vgames

What a way to launch a new console: Spider-Man: Miles Morales is everything Uncharted: The Lost Legacy wanted to be but couldn't, giving us a whole new Spider-Man adventure packed in a smaller, tighter game. Better graphics, awesome soundtrack and improved combat make this game a joy to play and a must have game for PS5 owners.- Vgames

WWE 2K Battlegrounds is a fun arcade wrestling game, far different than the sim we know and love (or hate). Its got tons of different modes, arenas and wrestlers to choose from, each with his own special abilities and signature moves. Some moves are missing, its got a lot of bugs and the micro-transaction ruin your progression, but it doesn't change the fact that this game is fun, and it doesn't need to be anything else.- Vgames

With Watch Dogs: Legion, the series finally found it's niche: The gameplay clicks, the "Legion" concept works brilliantly with the main theme of Watch Dogs, and while it has it's issues (mainly in some repetitive missions and a slow start to the story), this is the best Watch Dogs game to date.- Vgames

A lot of the fun, enjoyment and replayability of Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit depends of the buyer, which can be a both a good thing and a bad idea. Still, even with the lack of true and viable multiplayer (unless you have the cash), it's a solid Mario Kart game.- Vgames

Even if the differences between FIFA 20 and FIFA 21 aren't that substantial, FIFA 21 is exactly what it needs to be: That fun football game that you fire up after a long day at work, crack open a beer and play with your buddies at home. And it does that triumphantly.- Vgames

Ben 10: Power Trip had the potential to be very good, being an Open-world game, but it's uninteresting combat, combined with it's short length and lackluster missions, means that it just can't live to its premise.- Vgames

Star Wars Squadrons managed to surpass my expectations, it’s not a perfect game but it gets the job done. I don’t feel entitled to praise EA for not including micro transactions, but I want to believe it means they’ve learned their lesson. They saw an opportunity and took it and I hope they can add more to it.- Vgames
