Basically, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a good game. It offers you a big wide world with many missions and possibilities. It combines the tactical gameplay we all know and love from other Ghost Recon games, with all of these elements spread out on the beautiful map of Bolivia. But its repetitiveness, forgettable story and the trouble finding a decent team make its problems more obvious than ever.- Vgames

Yoko Taro is known to be over the top and a bit crazy. This time this madness, combined with the great minds at Platinum Games, gave birth to an excellent video game I just have to recommend. The story, while a bit convoluted, is moving and beautiful, the gameplay is great and allows freedom of choice in how to tackle battles, the characters are great and the world itself is wonderfully bleak and dark. The game's hard and very hard mode can be a bit too difficult for its own good, and the side quests do tend to be a bit boring and tedious, but the overall experience is amazing.- Vgames

By looking at this game alone, you would've never imagined Guerilla Games' previous works were on FPS games. Horizon: Zero Dawn reaches perfection in almost all of its aspects and it does so with relative ease. Aloy is an amazing character, a true bad-ass with a great story behind her, and the world she lives in is vast and full of interesting and unique characters and secrets. The combat, while a tad lacking, is extremely fun and addictive and the graphics are some of the best seen on the system with breath-taking vistas. If you happen to own a PS4, you should buy this game. If you don't, then you might want a PS4 for this one. Guerilla Games went and set the bar high for future open world games with this one.- Vgames

With Nioh, Team Ninja seems to hit the perfect recipe for compelling gameplay, taking the best elements from the Souls series and combining them with the legacy of Ninja Gaiden, with a pinch of Diablo in the mix. While the high difficulty might be frustrating at times, Nioh is an experience no gamer should miss.- Vgames

EA and DICE have done an amazing job bringing something fresh to the table in picking WW1 as the game's theme. Multiplayer is probably the best thing aspect of the game, and the well-built maps and cool game modes will keep me coming back to Battlefield 1 for the coming months.- Vgames

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is a much better game than its predecessor. The game tackles most of the problems I had with the first game by bringing me a much vaster world than before. Even though the first few hours are quite boring, the game has a lot to offer series fans.- Vgames

Titanfall 2 is a fun game. Even though it has a short campaign, I had a great time playing it. Multiplayer is fun thanks to the game’s amazing gameplay, but lack of balancing and awkward level design make it a forgettable experience. I can easily say that Titanfall 2 is a good game, but its lack of depth will ensure I won’t be visiting it again anytime soon.- Vgames

Rico Rodrigues returns once again to his island homeland of Medici. While exploring new areas, armed with a giant mech and a gravity gun like weaponry to aid to the total chaos and destruction. Mech Land assault DLC falls on the same trope of its original release. Repetitiveness ensues almost immediately.- Vgames

Square Enix's decision to separate the game into several episodes and market the game as a “Season” may interrupt with the storytelling of the game, but it also takes the game back to its roots, putting you in a sandbox full of opportunities and choices. Not all of the episodes are on par with each other and the “Opportunities” helping method makes the game feel a bit too easy and straight forward. But other than that, the game is a great addition to the series and fans of the series (especially “Blood Money” fans) would love it.- Vgames

Dishonored 2 is a great game for those who never played the first game and for returning gamers who enjoyed Dishonored. Its challenging gameplay, collectibles and the ability to experience the game’s story from two different points of view are more than enough to keep you interested.- Vgames

These games exceeded my expectations by a mile. Pokemon Sun and Moon are games that every Pokemon fan and every 3DS owner needs to own. Nintendo and Gamefreak did an awesome job creating a great story and the changes they made for the format make the game feel fresh and exciting more so than ever before. The game has its minor issues like the end game and some performance issues on Old 3DS models but the soundtrack, the story and the new features more than make up for it, to make an unforgettable experience.- Vgames

Final Fantasy XV is not the game Square Enix promised us. It’s not an open world game that everyone would enjoy, and even though it looks like they have done a great deal in making it more accessible to newcomers, it has more improving to do. If you are a die-hard Final Fantasy fan, you will have a great time thanks to a beautiful world, easy to learn and fun combat mechanics and a classic story about friendship and love.- Vgames

In the end, Watch Dogs 2 feels like an improvement over the previous game in the series. The characters are fun to play as and interact with, all of the hacking elements have a lot more depth and make more sense, and the world feels more alive and rich than ever before, design wise and graphics wise. However the game does suffer from mediocrity in regards to its shooting mechanics and stealth sections. Is it a fun game? Yeah, sure it is. Is it one of my games of the year? Not really.- Vgames

After 7 years in what seems to be development hell, Team Ico finally introduces us to the majestic Trico and its heartfelt relationship with a young protagonist. While the long development cycle does show its age in certain parts up to a point of some frustration. The experience as a whole is one of the most unique ever.- Vgames

Steep is the best snowboarding / skiing / extreme game you will find out there. Ubisoft managed to re-invent this gaming genre just like EA Black-Box did with the Skate franchise. Ubisoft understood that there is much more in these games than crazy combos and impossible tricks, and there is an audience who is looking for a more realistic experience.- Vgames

For Honor is a great game, held back only by some minor flaws and technical difficulties that Ubisoft can and should tend to. The story mode isn't the best I've played and the matchmaking could use some tweaking, but even with its problems you can't take away the fact that this game has one of the deepest and rewarding fighting mechanics we've seen in a while. For Honor demands you study the ins and outs of the game and excel in it, and those who do will get an experience without an equal in gaming right now.- Vgames

Even though Resident Evil 7 Biohazard ditches the third person point of view to a first person and a more intimate story, it does an amazing job of bringing back its roots which made the series so successful. The extraordinary work that was done in the different game departments such as story telling, audio, gameplay and graphics will keep me from sleeping at night and remembering it as a great experience.- Vgames

WWE 2k17 is very disappointing, and it has a lot of unclaimed potential. The graphics aren't all that good, especially the audience. The ranking system of the Online doesn't work well, and the game is full of bugs. On the other hand, the special abilities are great, the customization system is wonderful and the special games modes are perfect.- Vgames
