Ninja Gaiden 4 continues the beloved series with glorious success, featuring explosive combat and action that only stops to make sure your heart won't explode.

Escape From Ever After is a brisk, 16-hour Paper Mario–style RPG that the reviewer feels surpasses its inspiration through sharp, genuinely funny writing and excellent balance between combat, puzzles, and platforming. Despite a few rough edges in timing-based inputs and platforming precision, its fast pacing, forgiving difficulty, and energetic, saxophone-driven soundtrack make it a standout, must-play entry in the genre.

The latest installment in the series suffers from several issues, most of which come from a sense of blandness and flat characters that fail to engage. At times, it feels as if the game is trying too hard to avoid offending anyone while still aiming to be universally liked, which makes it feel cautious rather than bold. Is this the game I was hoping for? Not really. Did I enjoy it? Absolutely. In a single sentence: It’s a good RPG, but it’s not a good Dragon Age game.

If 2K22 was the series face turn, this year's game is its first major push, with more polished gameplay mechanics, great stories with the MyRise mode and a better MyGM mode. The Cena showcase could've been better, but the creation tool more than makes up for it.

GRIME Isn't just exciting because it's a game made in my home country - it's exciting because it's simply a very good game. It manages to be hard and challenging without frustrating the player too much and it's level design and combat is good, albeit a bit hampered by technical issues.

I can’t answer the biggest question—whether Shadows will restore Ubisoft’s lost fan love—but it’s certainly a step in the right direction. The game makes smart choices where its predecessors often prioritized quantity over quality. It delivers a visually stunning world, a more mature and cinematic story, and two unique protagonists that complement each other. However, it still feels bloated at times, inconsistent in quality, and doesn’t revolutionize the series.

In the end, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is a simple reminder of how diverse and great was the WiiU's library of games. This is a great JRPG that Switch fans who were left out of the Persona 5 party should own.

Another year, another good WWE 2K game. After 2K20, we really shouldn't take that for granted, and it looks like the devs don't too - the gameplay is fun, the new additions are great and the MyRise and MyGM modes are better than ever. The WrestleMania showcase mode is the best we've had in a while, but next time - drop the objectives.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a good spin off game, even if it is fairly negligible, if you want a fun Pirate experience, you may want to give this game a shot.

Did you say endless fun and a celebration of superheroes? You said MARVEL Cosmic Invasion. It's one of the best games we've gotten this year thanks to addictive and fun gameplay, simply great visuals, performance and soundtrack, and great gameplay options for both single player and those of us who like to add friends to the equation.

Life is Strange: True Colors is, without a doubt, the best in the series in my opinion. After some disappointment with Deck Nine's previous work, True Colors has managed to win over my heart and for the first time in a long while, care for a narrative driven game like this one.

The first episode of Life is Strange 2 looks very ambitious and promising. The change in the game's environment from urban to road-trip reflects its different but interesting story of survival and political drama and despite it's slow start, episode 1 includes all the small things that will probably make the entire season a big and unforgettable experience.

Like the brand or not, it's hard to argue with the fact that DRAGON BALL: Sparking! Zero is nothing less than a love letter to anyone who likes or thinks they are a Dragon Ball fan, even if in some parts the execution may feel a little cheap and even frustrating.

Dirt again presents fun rally races but at the same time fails at the same point: It's kind of the same game that came to exhaustion fast and thrown away to play a new game.

This game is full of quality, style, and screams "fun" at almost any given moment, and even though it's not exactly groundbreaking in terms of the systems it's built from, the execution of each of the elements that make up this great game is simply unusually impressive in its quality, making this game a hot recommendation for fans of the genre, and not only.

Firaxis is finally coming out of their comfort zone. I know - it's also a turn-based strategy game, what they are known for in the last few decades - but with added systems like the card games, some RPG elements and the friendship system, are adding more spice to the already perfected formula.

Well. Nintendo literally saved this game. From a game riddled with pace halting issues and pesky tutorials, Nintendo has unearthed the gem that is Skyward Sword. We can now fully appreciate it's great level design, awesome combat and wonderful presentation and music. Also - Fi is no longer annoying. Hallelujah.

It's a wonderful alternative for people who like the concept of Monster Hunter but don't like the action part of the games. It can drag on in some parts, but overall it's one of the best monster collecting games you can get on the Switch.

Atelier Yumia is a fantastic renovation to an aging series of jrpg games that needed an update, what didn't get an update tho, it seems, is the engine, which at times looks not amazing and the open world tends to not work properly and slows the frames to a crawl.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole preserves its last game atmosphere and fun. Although it failed delivering a trippy story and characters as the old one with none of the memorable moments and characters as its predecessor. On that, Ubisoft shoved in a microtransactions system which seems to squeeze money by removing part of the game. Recommended for South Park's fans only.

Hellblade 2 Sinua's Saga truly feels like a next-generation experience with graphics and design that leap off the screen. The combination of a fully cinematic experience and a well-crafted world fits perfectly into the game, creating a vibrant world with a decent story based on Norse mythology. However, the game mechanics are its weakest point, with very simple and easy-to-master combat and puzzle elements. I was hoping for the same epic boss battles as we saw in the first game, but unfortunately, they never materialized. Nonetheless, the fights are much more cinematic, with Instagram-worthy moments scattered throughout the game.

Sifu is a wild game: On the one hand you have a game with a good, yet flawed story and subpar soundtrack and on the other hand you have a punch to the face which is the amazing gameplay of Sifu, knocking some sense into you and reminding the player that gameplay is, and always will be, king.

Black Myth: Wukong is a fine action game that takes a lot of notes from the Souls games but giving it it's own twist in the mix. the only thing that drags the fun down is the optimization issues this game faces on release but I hope Game Science keeps on working on the game, and may we see another game in this style in the future.
