Resident Evil Requiem is a strong entry that successfully balances the two gameplay styles that define Capcom’s survival horror saga through its dual protagonists. At the same time, it delivers a narrative that closes certain plot threads while introducing new ones that will likely sustain the franchise for years to come. Although it presents some visual issues, its engaging gameplay more than compensates, keeping players entertained throughout and even encouraging multiple playthroughs.

A visually stunning homage to classic JRPGs. The HD-2D style shines brilliantly, the orchestrated soundtrack stirs deep emotion, and the narrative enhancements add depth without betraying the original essence. It stands as an ideal experience for longtime fans and a perfect entry point for newcomers alike. A respectful celebration of the Dragon Quest legacy.

Pikmin 4 is the most accessible and addictive installment of the entire saga. It has beautiful and varied maps and many things to do. All these gameplay mechanics make it an experience that you keep playing time after time. Although sometimes it comes to feel too simple for his good.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond marks a spectacular return for the series. With memorable biomes, fluid 60fps combat, impeccable metroidvania exploration, and a melancholic narrative, it delivers some of the strongest moments in the franchise. Despite a few stumbles in its new ideas, its core Prime identity shines brightly, solidifying Samus in one of her best modern adventures.

Convergence: A League of Legends Story is a sophisticated and solid installment in every way. I am referring, of course, to the harmonious and careful details of the design, the mechanics, and the complex challenge of printing a tremendous narrative with really active gameplay. In addition to having options that, as a player, I appreciate since they allow multiple selections that generate a precise adaptation that, in turn, achieves an optimal gaming experience. The game from Riot Forge is friendly. It emerges with multiple perfect edges. This video game is something to remember.

Neva is a brilliant video game in every sense. It immerses us in an adventure constructed with various types of tension. The story, sustained between mechanics and landscapes, envelops us, pushing movement with naturalness and skill. The sophisticated rhythm the game imposes is based on the danger and pain felt throughout the space. The title is perfectionistic, with each aspect being harmonious. Neva is lucid and filled with nuanced symbols, undoubtedly allowing us to savor the delicacy of pain, growing, staying here, and continuing on.

Princess Peach: Showtime! is a game with a simple appearance; however, it has a high degree of replayability and very challenging levels. The gameplay mechanic of using costumes makes the experience versatile. The environments, boss battles, and adventure development are very well executed. We may have a straightforward video game, but less means having more entertainment.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is not a revolutionary step for the series and avoids risks. However, it does come at a time when the duo needed to return to our lives and the PlayStation 5 required good games. They are both in luck.

The joint work between Retro Studios plus the experience of Iron Galaxy gave us Metroid Prime Remastered, one of the most outstanding games that the Nintendo Switch can have. Both studios gave new life to a perfect classic that today you can enjoy once again and with modern controls, a much-appreciated detail. This masterpiece came back from the ashes like a phoenix to remind us of the greatness of Metroid.

Although it is a great video game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 may fall into the conversation of not being an experience for every player, which is understandable due to its overwhelming character progression system. However, over time, you will find a thought-provoking title where every decision you make matters, and the outcome is just a piece of the puzzle in Henry's life.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is a pleasant surprise that Bayonetta fans will enjoy. Its game mechanics are entertaining and fresh, and the witch of Umbra origin story is charming and emotional. Cereza's voice acting is outstanding. Returnal's jump to PC is a clear example of a commitment to bring PlayStation games to more players. And even though the result could be better, the game still retains the quality with which we met it on the console. It even looks much better and shows that, with the proper hardware, a video game can still look much better.

The Outer Worlds 2 does not significantly alter its combat or exploration. Yet it greatly expands the RPG aspects of the experience, offering a title filled with multiple paths to choose from, impactful decisions that shape the narrative, and extensive freedom for players to become whoever they wish to be. All of this unfolds within a visually stunning and captivating galaxy, albeit with the occasional glitch scattered throughout.

Nothing has changed. The game is mostly the same: Kratos is still playing the "father simulator" and God of War is still a wonderful game that, at the time, offered an aesthetic experience hard to match up. However, nothing that existed in 2018 can be assumed as the reality that we live in the present day, the fateful AP (After Pandemic) World. What really changed is, undoubtedly, the way we see it... Ah, of course! Also the platform.

Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail marks a turning point among all the expansions in the series. The environments feel fresh, the story features a central character you immediately empathize with, and the narrative includes a conflict you'll be eager to resolve. The beginning could be faster and more manageable, but each mission is rewarding and guides you to the story's core. The new jobs are entertaining, though the Viper can be challenging to level. Again, the music is excellent, but the dungeons and trials are much more difficult. It's a reboot that's well worth enjoying and experiencing.

Elden Ring is a very entertaining game that takes a lot from other FromSoftware titles. Its beautiful open world is a double-edged sword: on the one hand, it invites you to explore, but on the other, it makes you face the same enemies over and over again until you are sick of it.

The Witch of Umbra is back, and in a way where she looks spectacular, intense, and very entertaining, but at other times, its game encounters both visual and performance problems that detract from the experience. Fortunately, in its overall execution, Bayonetta 3 is a shining example that, when they put their minds to it, PlatinumGames can still make outstanding games.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is a highly emotive experience as you empathize with Ichiban Kasuga and the honorable perspective of Kazuma Kiryu. The gameplay mechanics are those of a solid and entertaining RPG that feels manageable. Overall, we have a robust video game with many hours of gameplay, but with certain paywalls like the one for New Game + that should be absent, detracting from an outstanding gaming experience.
