When it works, Darwin's Paradox is an entertaining platformer with a wide variety of challenges and environments. However, its short duration, along with a number of programming issues, makes it difficult to recommend broadly. It has good ideas, but it clearly needed more time in the oven.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has several strengths, such as an interesting story, a living world that invites you to get lost in it for hours, and an impressive visual presentation. However, it is also filled with numerous technical issues that genuinely undermine its achievements. Still, if you have enough patience, you may find a very entertaining game worth dedicating many hours to.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins will surely appeal to franchise fans, as it returns with all the action we expect from the series. However, its repetitive nature and lackluster story may drive away potential newcomers.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted arrives with new visuals, an expanded arsenal of defensive and offensive tools, and fresh challenges that force players to adapt to each unique board. This edition bursts with renewed energy, allowing players to evolve gradually throughout the experience. However, despite all its improvements, it still feels like something essential is missing.

Dear Me, I Was is a short, intimate, and visually captivating experience that reaffirms how video games can move players without relying on action. Arc System Works and Taisuke Kanasaki invite players on an introspective journey where storytelling, music, and art intertwine to remind us that the ordinary can also be profoundly human.

System Shock does an excellent job of resurrecting the 1994 game. Its graphic proposal and mechanics take you directly to the past, and therein lies its biggest weakness since its mechanics feel too outdated for 2023. The combat could be faster and more fluid, while the levels feel like a maze you must repeatedly return to to progress.

It's a relaxing and simple game with a peaceful narrative. On the other hand, this permeates a casual delivery without much distinction, with mechanics and character construction that could be considered flat. Various Daylife is a good installment for your cell phone, but the jump to Nintendo Switch was too big for it.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a pretty fun remaster. Its scenarios are very varied, and its gameplay keeps you entertained. Unfortunately, the fun ends very soon, and there are few replay values.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance is entertaining enough, and as a casual game, it is satisfying. It reunites the franchise's classic characters in fun gameplay with good optimizations and interface. In it, you will relive the classic battles of the anime through quick fights. However, in the field of action RPG, it could not count as real competition against other titles.

Until Dawn remains entertaining thanks to its gameplay, which features branching paths and decisions from the original. However, aside from its graphical overhaul, there is little incentive to purchase it, especially when the new graphics sacrifice its eerie atmosphere and framerate. Opting for the original is better if you have yet to experience this winter nightmare.

Dustborn offers an intriguing story set in an alternate version of the United States, with a captivating narrative and a unique presentation. However, its ambition in terms of gameplay leads it to tackle various game modes without truly excelling in any of them.

Despite how much I love the world of Oddworld and its quirky characters, I did not enjoy most of my time at Soulstorm. Clunky controls, repetition, and peaks in difficulty turn this into a tedious experience and drop any sense of accomplishment. Because sometimes, when you finally achieve it... a bug kills you and all your Mudokons.

Actraiser Renaissance is a very worthy remake, but one that is far from perfect. It starts slow and it's very tutorial heavy. You expect more speed in a title from the 16-bit era, but this is not the case. If you can handle the beginning, you are going to find a very entertaining game with platforming and tower defense strategy elements.

Imp of the Sun is a clear example of what can be done with a good story. The obvious limitations can be overlooked and you can enjoy this mythological story that takes us through the vestiges of the Inca culture and the magic of that world before the arrival of Pizarro and Cortes.

If you are a fan of rhythm games, Samba de Amigo: Party Central may go to the shelf of oblivion due to the strong market for similar games found on this same console. However, it is an exciting game if you have someone to enjoy a little rhythm, dance, and humor with songs that we all like and will become instant classics of American culture.

The chaos around each Pac-Man 99 match makes you wonder if you have direct control over the outcome or it was just luck. There are times when so much disorder suffocates you, but getting to the top ten or being in the first place is rewarding enough to continue enjoying the experience.

Bus Bound is a solid bus driving simulator that strongly emphasizes realism, requiring players to follow traffic rules to achieve better scores. However, its low level of challenge and relative simplicity may make it difficult to recommend if you are not already a fan of the genre, as it does little to attract new players.

Disney takes advantage of its legacy of 100 years of animation now with a racing game proposal that brings together everyone's favorite characters in settings representing their classic movies and is accompanied by an incredible soundtrack with remixes that will fill you with nostalgia. However, its poor performance on Nintendo Switch and the existence of so many currencies will need to be clarified for users, making this game hard to recommend.

Warlander is a fun game that puts an intelligent spin on siege games. However, the title must be more balanced and friendly to new players. The skill acquisition and progression system is very slow, so it can become tedious if you don't have patience and perseverance.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl delivers character and environment design faithful to the cartoons, however, our high expectations were crushed because of the complete absence of voice-over. The addition of the momentum bar gives a new gaming experience to Madden NFL 22, but it's not an adjustment attractive enough to think EA Tiburon did a solid job. Graphically we have a game worthy of the next generation of consoles, but in practice it fails. It's time to offer a title with better physics instead of default animations.

Just Dance 2022 comes to the Nintendo Switch with new game modes and improvements to its graphics and sound quality. Unfortunately, it does not add anything new to its already well-known formula. God of War: Sons of Sparta stands as a metroidvania built on a solid foundation, yet it does little to distinguish itself within the genre. It also feels largely disconnected from the broader saga, featuring combat that lacks impact and a narrative that fails to expand meaningfully on Kratos' extensive mythology. Combined with several technical issues, these shortcomings make it recommendable only for the most devoted fans of the former God of War.
