The return of Legend of Mana is one that many players will appreciate because it is full of nostalgia, improvements and animations that enhance a beautiful story. However, while the remaster is almost perfect in its presentation, it doesn't have enough quality of life additions to be something that you should play urgently.

Sand Land is an adventure that keeps you entertained throughout its main storyline thanks to an interesting plot and endearing characters. However, it feels overly ambitious as it tries to do many things, ending up in its simplest state. Additionally, its side quests fail to captivate the player.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac is a pretty fun remaster. Its scenarios are very varied, and its gameplay keeps you entertained. Unfortunately, the fun ends very soon, and there are few replay values.

In an era where everyone wants a new Silent Hill, The Medium is launched. This game by Bloober Team goes out of its comfort zone and shows us on a silver platter what the storage speed of the Xbox Series X | S can offer. Sure, it's not a perfect game, even the number of puzzles is questionable, however, the narrative is fresh, the use of split screen as a mechanic is something technologically remarkable, and the overall experience delivers when it comes to scaring and entertaining the audience.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarok is satisfying as an expansion, keeping the game mechanics and narrative in line with the base game, but it doesn't offer enough to consider it an outstanding DLC. It will be fun for the fans, but those who left the game will not find a strong reason to play it again.

Little Nightmares III stands as a worthy continuation of its legacy. It introduces a cooperative mode that expands the formula while preserving the unique atmosphere that made the series famous. However, in its pursuit of greater playability and accessibility, it loses some of the edge that elevated the original to a masterpiece of modern horror.

The DioField Chronicle is a very entertaining game thanks to its combat system that feels new, agile, and challenging. It takes the best of an RTS and combines it with passive elements of a strategy RPG, resulting in a demanding experience. It is an enjoyable game to play, but its price at the moment is not the most accessible. Get it when it is on sale.

Due to the great customization of Miitopia there is a lot of involuntary humor and that is what sustains the game, but at its core it is an RPG with repetitive and monotonous mechanics.

Actraiser Renaissance is a very worthy remake, but one that is far from perfect. It starts slow and it's very tutorial heavy. You expect more speed in a title from the 16-bit era, but this is not the case. If you can handle the beginning, you are going to find a very entertaining game with platforming and tower defense strategy elements.

Lego Horizon Adventures does not reinvent the wheel as a platformer or a Lego game. However, that does not take away from the fact that it is a fun experience and a humorous way to relive Aloy's first adventure, especially if you experience it with a companion.

I certainly had fun times in Cruisn’ Blast, particularly when my inner child was at the wheel, but my brain (which was never completely turned off) kept telling me that there are better racing games now. Cruisn’ Blast is full of nostalgia for a series that prefers the absurd above innovation or quality. There will be some voluntary and involuntary laughs here and there, as long as you are not bothered by short experiences full of Déjà vus and poor graphics.

Boyfriend Dungeon is a dating sim combined with a stereotype-busting dungeon video game. Pitifully, the good script, music and character design contrast with the dungeon design that does not have the same level of quality.

Star Ocean: The Divine Force is a game that needs more development. It has pretty solid and charming points, like its characters and gameplay mechanics, but on the other side, it does game some flaws that would discourage the purchase of any experienced RPG player. However, it is a fun and entertaining game. It has beautiful landscapes and mechanics that gradually become versatile and entertaining.

Assassin's Creed Shadows: Claws of Awaji serves primarily as a simple incentive for those who preordered the base game to step back into the roles of Yasuke and Naoe. While it provides closure to the main story, it delivers limited content, making it less advisable for players who are required to pay $25 for access.

Scorn is a beautiful game with a sophisticated setting. On the other hand, the narrative feels slow but intuitive in terms of history and exploration. However, in its genre, it will be one of the most detailed and horrific installments of 2022 that survival horror or adventure fans need to play.

Code Vein II is not the definitive soulslike, but it effectively adopts the genre’s mechanics and difficulty to present players with a challenge that feels worth overcoming. It also falls short of perfection and carries its own flaws; however, in the end, those issues do not prevent it from being an enjoyable video game.

New World has every element that an MMORPG fan needs to spend hours in front of the screen while they level up their characters and jobs nevertheless, its lack of variety of enemies and activities make it repetitive and tedious very soon. The PvP quests are great, but limited to high levels, while PvE delivers what's set to accomplish. New World can be quite entertaining if you have a lot of free time and patience, but if you don't, you might want to look somewhere else.

King of Meat arrives almost by surprise, delivering a highly entertaining title with a ridiculously fun premise and gameplay that appears simple at first glance but quickly reveals deeper complexity. Its variety of dungeons and rewards makes it ideal for repeated playthroughs, while the chaotic and unpredictable nature of its multiplayer renders it highly recommended for enjoyment with friends. Although it has areas for improvement, there is no doubt that it possesses potential that, hopefully, players will know how to leverage.

Until Dawn remains entertaining thanks to its gameplay, which features branching paths and decisions from the original. However, aside from its graphical overhaul, there is little incentive to purchase it, especially when the new graphics sacrifice its eerie atmosphere and framerate. Opting for the original is better if you have yet to experience this winter nightmare.
