Defiance of Destiny takes Disgaea's core and tries to evolve it into a game that exploits ridiculous characters and situations. However, already in its sixth installment, it does not find a balance between pleasing its fans and inviting new users, delivering a game that makes us doubt the longevity of the franchise.

Dead Island 2 is a fun, simple, and entertaining title. There are various enemies to face and modifications to make our weapons deadlier. However, sometimes it becomes repetitive and contains multiple technical errors, affecting the entire experience.

Sonic Superstars manages to capture the classic gameplay of the saga with some welcome changes. Furthermore, it does so in a graphically fantastic game with varied levels and bosses. Unfortunately, the multiplayer part doesn't feel as well implemented, and the game ends quickly.

Encased: a Sci-Fi, Post-Apocalyptic RPG seeks to recreate the best moments of the first Fallout games. Unfortunately, it also brought with it a lot of outdated mechanics and repetitive designs. Along with this, technical problems, bugs, and unreliable localization ruin the experience.

Pokemon Shining Pearl is a good remake that honors the original release, but they could have added more to make the experience even better.

Mafia: The Old Country delivers a highly focused experience that remains entertaining throughout its duration thanks to its variations in gameplay and a truly immersive story. While there is no innovation in terms of combat and stealth, it remains a worthwhile Sicilian journey, especially considering its reduced price.

There is no doubt that Marvel's Avengers did improve a lot in its new presentation for next-gen consoles. Crystal Dynamics had a long time to develop a more solid version when it comes to technical aspects such as graphics and performance, however, the game remains the same: entertaining, but repetitive, with a so-so multiplayer and an enjoyable story.

The reality is that Big Brain Academy: Brain Vs. Brain will fulfill the task of offering a gaming experience focused on mental abilities. There is a lot of challenges, no doubt about it, but the progression of the difficulty of the exercises has a random design. It doesn't compare with its predecessors, but that doesn't mean that it's not a good offer.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is quite a jump in quality from other games in the franchise. The narrative development is attractive, the scenario is engaging, and the conclusions will give you goosebumps.

Dragon Quest Treasures is an exploration odyssey full of excitement and accessible gameplay. It is a fresh and introductory installment that exploits in some exciting ways the Dragon Quest formula. It makes a great effort to combine exploration and gameplay mechanics.

Just Dance 2022 comes to the Nintendo Switch with new game modes and improvements to its graphics and sound quality. Unfortunately, it does not add anything new to its already well-known formula. To make matters worse, its track selection will feel too limited if you do not plan on paying for the Just Dance Unlimited subscription.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants serves as an engaging addition to the latest adventure of Dr. Jones, offering more entertaining puzzles set within a beautifully rendered depiction of both Rome and its subterranean depths. If you enjoyed the base game, this DLC will undoubtedly appeal to you as well.

Outriders: Worldslayer delivers on its promises without giving the player an extraordinary experience to remember. In addition to a new skill tree as well as expanded gear mods, you can further customize your character to face new challenges. The story is told in a better way than the base game, but the endgame feels more like a stepping stone for progress than a final shot at the narrative.

Nintendo Switch Sports wants to revive a past that's buried in the memory of Wii users. The game lacks some experiences or ones that feel newer. The rewards are not that attractive and much less a reason to play for hours. Online games work, but nothing more. I was expecting something more than the same old thing.

Ninja Gaiden Master Collection includes Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge. The first two revolutionized the action genre a few years ago, but don't get your hopes up about anything else in this collection. Times have changed and these games were not adjusted, nor polished one bit. And while it might seem that this will please the most purist fans, this is not the case either, as the collection does not contain the first version of each installment.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is absurd, daring, and very entertaining, but its story takes a long time to start, which affects the playing experience from the beginning. You will notice that you shouldn't take the narrative so seriously because it doesn't get you anywhere. Nevertheless, the references and the combat system keep you wanting more because it's a challenging title.

The Lost Gods prove that Immortals Fenyx Rising can work in more than one way, this time with a new camera angle. The story of this DLC does not take many risks, but it turns out to be an entertaining story that fans of the new Ubisoft franchise can enjoy.

Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story has good level design and enjoyable music with which you will destroy the city of Piltover with Ziggs. Unfortunately, the lack of calibration, precision, and repetitive controls can turn it into a frustrating title.

Ultimately, Everybody's Golf Hot Shots streamlines the gameplay experience, delivering a refined yet competent iteration of what the series executes well. The difficulty and precision remain intact, as the game, despite its arcade orientation, preserves the fundamental principles of golf, which is precisely why it remains so engaging.

While the ending of the Immortals Fenyx Rising expansion can be satisfying, especially after putting up with bad jokes and tricky puzzles, the truth is that A New God may not have been the best idea to extend the game. You're going to find yourself with lame level design and unnecessary features for Immortals Fenyx Rising that do not feel interesting at all.

Pac-Man Museum+ is an experience that will keep fans of the yellow hero entertained. Its addition of quests and the option to let you decorate the space with character memorabilia is a great bonus. However, many of its games can be considered very simple and even boring if judged by modern standards.

My Hero Academia: All's Justice excels where an arena fighter matters most: it delivers solid combat, chaotic triple-tag mechanics, and a massive roster of 68 distinct characters. However, the story mode presentation, the hub, and several side activities feel empty or low budget, with mostly cosmetic rewards and limited polish. It's ideal for versus focused fans, but uneven as a complete package.

Pokemon Scarlet is that product that many fans requested, with a vast open world to explore, an adventure without ties, and an exploration full of surprises. The game achieves everything I just mentioned, and there is no doubt about that. The main issue is that the game makes a lot of technical sacrifices to achieve everything the fans asked for. The result is a title that performs poorly at times that may not matter but happens many times. The gameplay is entertaining, solid, and deep, but it's all wrapped up in a broken package.

Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact tries to stake its claim in the fighting game genre with an accessible system and a visual style that no one expected for this anime. However, its limited roster, brief story mode, and simplified mechanics that sacrifice depth undermine a memorable experience for both anime fans and more demanding players. Despite solid technical performance, its high price and lack of ambition in content put it at a disadvantage compared to much more complete offerings on the market.

The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story has a story full of mystery and great performances by the actors. This title will be judged by its cover. However, it's not until you play it that you understand its real value as an entertaining title in a genre that not many gamers play in the West.

If you are a fan of rhythm games, Samba de Amigo: Party Central may go to the shelf of oblivion due to the strong market for similar games found on this same console. However, it is an exciting game if you have someone to enjoy a little rhythm, dance, and humor with songs that we all like and will become instant classics of American culture.

Nioh 2 is already a remarkable game, still its additional content was not good enough to complement it. The First Sammurai is supposed to serve to complete the previous story of the franchise, but it does not offer anything beyond minor adjustments in the endgame. The latest Nioh 2 DLC offers a challenging new dungeon but getting through it may not bring great satisfaction to players. Despite its production levels with great designs on enemies, this DLC feels forced and very poorly planned.
