    The Quiet Collection is a bundle of four short but charming adventure games.     Pumped BMX+ is a great addition to the PlayStation Vita. Although some people may be put off due to the fact that it originates from a mobile title, if you look past this you will find a game that plays like a cross between OlliOlli and Trials - which is no bad thing! Pumped BMX+ doesn't need these comparisons though, as on its own it stands out as great game that is perfect for gaming on the go!

    It's difficult to call Plague of Shadows an essential expansion to the Shovel Knight experience, but if you're seriously craving the need to play through the game and experience it in a different way then this is worth a look. However, if you don't want your fond memories of the original game tarnishing at all then it'll be best to avoid this one.

    This game is a blend of tactical RPG and roguelike but unfortunately it's not brilliant at either genre. The story is bland and for a roguelike the gameplay isn't particularly difficult. I really wanted to love this game but unfortunately it doesn't quite work. The game is still worth a try, especially if future patches sort out the many bugs, but there are better games out there.

    Super Blackout is a super challenging puzzle game that has an easy to grasp concept to very difficult puzzles. The bare bones approach may cut out any cruft from the game, but it also leaves some features (like sharing user generated levels) clearly absent. Puzzle lovers looking for a great challenge will have to look no further than Super Blackout.

    A Boy and His Blob is a beautiful and heart-warming game with a classic 2D platformer feel.     It’s a shame that the originality and charm of the cut scenes and voice acting get lost in translation when it comes to the main game itself. A Virus Named Tom is in no ways a bad game; it just does nothing to set itself apart from the crowd. Meaning that if you took away the narrative, all that is left is a mediocre puzzler that will unfortunately forever sit in the shadows of the other far superior action puzzle games on the Vita.

    Risk of Rain is an excellent game, though the tiny character size on the PS Vita screen is a major nuisance sometimes. Mop-up bits slow down an otherwise lightning fast experience.     Rocketbirds 2: Evolution is an explosive and humorous take on the action games of yesteryear. Combine that with the visual sheen of a modern title and it sounds like an instant win. However, uneven characters and the hit-and-miss soundtrack wear it down its charm. Extra finnicky controls for precise aiming, large difficulty spikes, and bullet sponge enemies hold it back even further from greatness.

    Letter Quest Remastered: Grimm's Journey is a really fun blend of side-scrolling puzzle game with RPG elements. It's simple to get into but will keep you coming back time after time to play one more level and level up your cute little Grim Reaper or try to beat your previous score in Endless mode. If you like word games then you should definitely give Letter Quest a try.

    Paranautical Activity takes what should be a straightforward idea and fumbles the execution. There are many flaws but really this is a game that lacks any sort of polish. I can’t find any real reason to recommend this game over other far more competent rogue-likes but maybe with more work there could have been a fun gameplay loop here.

    Gal*Gun: Double Peace is a unique take on the on-rails shooter genre that feels right at home on the Vita.     Spheroids is a fun little arcade game that takes the bouncing ball menace into 2017, despite a few technical issues and a lack of difficulty the game can conjure up some great gameplay that's hard to beat.
