Let’s Sing 2020 has a good selection of songs, a series of fun challenges and good evaluation skills. However, the game has crashed repeatedly and its music videos seem to come from a VHS.

How to Survive 2 is a watered-down survival, and that's not necessarily a bad thing; it also means that the game will please mostly someone who approaches to the genre for the first time. The gameplay is a little shallow and repetitive, but the coop mode can put a Band-Aid on things.

The main concept of Mario Sports Superstars is not a bad one: five intriguing sports (some of them already played in their stand-alone versions), for a title specifically designed for multiplayer. Unfortunately, there's not too much content to go on, and the multiplayer itself could have been handled much, much better.

Miitopia has nice graphics and a pretty decent soundtrack (sometimes disturbed by the annoying gibberish of the Miis). All in all, it's a fun experience, surely not a challenging one. A good game for a younger audience.

As a typical "video game" The Tomorrow Children fails in its purpose to entertain the players for more than a couple of evenings, but if you look at it as a sociological experiment, than you could find more than a source of interest. It's a free to play game, so you can give it a chance without spending a single penny.

Mixing games and movies is hard, and The Complex still hasn’t found the magic formula. At least, it doesn’t take the matter so seriously as Until Dawn, but it just delivers what it promised: 6-8 hours of an interactive movie, set in a direct-to-video sci-fi context. Not a mastepiece, but still better than the beginning of 2020.

The story is splendid and so is the music, photography is always on point... but on the technical side we’re far from the sufficience. Despite all the flaws, I have become attached to Sean and Daniel and I want to "help" them reach the Mexican border.

Re-Legion is based on some interesting ideas and has a nice cyberpunk setting. Sadly there’s only one game mode (the single player campaign), and overall the game feels very easy due to a lackluster AI.

The main problem of Beyond Blue is that, in the end, it doesn't do enough to fulfill its main task: to inspire curiosity about the beautiful Blue world of the ocean and make you want to watch all the documentaries of the same name.

Twin Mirror is a good adventure, albeit with its flaws. Even without infusing its new IP with the same depth of character development shown in past works, DONTNOD still managed to create a well done self-contained story and enrich it with interesting additional mechanics. But despite all this, Twin Mirror’s story feels like it could have used a few more hours.

Ruffy and the Riverside is an adventure-platform that seems to have come straight out of the 64-bit golden age, but the “swap system” integrated into its gameplay manages to make it quite unique in its genre and to give life to truly unique and fun puzzle elements. The perhaps excessive “richness” of some levels makes orientation more difficult than it should be and some performance issues on Switch 2 (in backward compatibility) would require prompt intervention by the development team.

Even if The Last Guardian can sometimes get straight to our hearts, we cannot turn a blind eye to the frustrating gameplay. Its narrative fails to truly immerse the player, as the game mechanics lack to convey emphasis and empathy.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts can be appreciated for what it is: a sniping game far from perfect but ready to engage the player without exceeding, which can be taken home at an affordable price.

High on Life 2 tries to be more of a videogame than High on Life ever was — and to be fair, it actually succeeds. The problem is that nobody really asked for that, especially since, when you strip it down, it’s still an average shooter that in this second iteration loses much of the meta‑ironic charge that defined the first game.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection offers three high-adrenaline action games that are still splendid today. This is the only, partial redemption for a collection incapable of convincing, lazy in implementation and technically inconsistent, especially on Switch.

An horror adventure with a strong 'Carpenterian' flavour that delivers some interesting ideas and awakens ancestral fears, but in the end leaves the taste of a missed opportunity. An excessively linear gameplay, limited longevity and some technical issues prevent it from reaching the level of The Chinese Room's best productions.

Despite being one of the best RPGs of recent times, The Outer Worlds for Nintendo Switch is the worst possible version of the game. This port should be taken into consideration only if you don’t possess any other gaming platform, or if you are willing to accept the many compromises made in the name of its portability.

A remake only makes sense when it truly enhances the original game. Guess what? This is not the case. For lack of a better option, it's best played on a Super Nintendo Classic Mini. The best way to describe this remake is "unnecessary", and it could be worth your time only if you don't have any other way to play the original.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is not for those looking for fine technicalities, both in graphics and gameplay. It is a decent pastime for the early hours that hides the potential to create its own fan base, but to allow it to do so, more content is needed and a review of the multiplayer section starting with the integration of effective 6VS6 PVP, to allow the most competitive to challenge each other without bots in the way.

Ashen is a souls-like game with a particular focus on the co-op multiplayer. Sadly this feature rarely works as intended, but despite its flaws, the game developed by A44 is still an enjoyable variation to the formula created by Miyazaki and From Software.

Togges makes no secret of his sources of inspiration: Super Mario Galaxy above all, but also Katamari Damacy and Pikmin. While Togges does not have all the qualities of its benchmarks (particularly in controls and cleanliness in design), it knows its strength points and focuses on those: smooth, colourful graphics on which rests a relaxing, carefree gameplay. All in all, Togges is an average-value game that nevertheless took on a huge challenge, confronting himself with the masterpieces of the genre, without being destroyed by the comparison. But ambition and bravery should be appreciated, and rewarded too.

The Solus Project is still a fascinating title, albeit on PS4, one that suffers from the same problems of the original release (repetitive, and a disappointing survival). The VR headset adds a nightmarish control system, but at the same time offers an intriguing take on the horror side of the game.

Die Young is an escape simulator. Exploration is its strength along with the constant fear of being hunted down and not knowing where to hide. There are several technical problems (to be solved quickly) and some aspects of the gameplay are not perfectly calibrated, but if you can look past there is a good indie game.

Star Trek: Bridge Crew has solid gameplay and offers plenty of variety, thanks to the availability of two ships, two game modes and four very different roles. Trekkies will love it from start to finish, but there's no denying that it could have been better, especially from a graphical standpoint.

On the golf course, PGA Tour 2K21 is a fairly fun game. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the game modes. The career is way too simple, and even the online does not offer anything exciting. Graphics and sounds are decent, but could be vastly improved.
