Diablo IV is an action RPG game that aims to redeem Blizzard's reputation - and nails it. With an engaging story and well-developed characters, the game presents a gripping plot and intelligent dialog. The quest to prevent Lilith from obtaining the power of Hell is accompanied by other characters with their own ambitions. In addition to the main story, the side missions are also captivating. Diablo IV retrieves the magical essence of the series and delivers an immersive experience from start to finish, showcasing Blizzard's care in crafting a satisfying and exciting tale.

Persona 3 is not only a nearly perfect version of one of the most important RPGs in the last 20 years, but it is also the best entry point in the franchise, refining the formula established by the original game by applying every improvement made to it by the time of Persona 5 Royal.

Bayonetta 3 is an experience filled with a constant feeling of surprise, quality of life add-ons, dynamic and electrifying action and an epic story. Though it lacks visual refinement, the end result is a must-play for fans of the series. Although unfortunately there is still male gaze imprinted on the game, being a woman and playing with such powerful and fun characters such as Bayonetta, Viola and Jeanne is a huge joy.

In Dragon’s Dogma 2, every system, every combat and every companion teaches us that there is weight in our decisions. Choices bring consequences. When something changes, it changes for good. Therefore, when we enter this final stretch and our will is not only capable of reshaping reality, but also the very tool through which we can bring the game to its end, it is also necessary to recognize the excellence of the game. This is also why frustration leads to admiration. Yes, I wanted to go back. But that would go against everything that makes Dragon’s Dogma 2 special. I can create another game, another reality, but that one was definitive. And what better way to leave a world real than to make it definitive?

Echoes of Wisdom is a great send-off to The Legend of Zelda's most successful era. The game is the ending point for a very clear path started by Breath of the Wild and continued in Tears of The Kingdom, of games that have an unyielding faith in the player's ability to solve problems in very creative ways. All of that is combined with the structure of classic 2D-era Zelda games.

Despite its lack of polish, indicating a need for further development time, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor represents a significant improvement over its predecessor, particularly in regards to combat and platforming. It's difficult not to feel excited about what the future may hold for Star Wars games.

Undoubtedly, KOF XV is an evolution over XIV. But I feel like this game is too stuck to its roots of the past and abandons mechanics that were introduced in previous versions. I don't know if I would go so far as to say it's the best game in the franchise – long-time fans would hardly agree with that, even. However, it is a fact that we are talking about another fighting game that is totally worthy in this era of good fighting games in which we live. Could be better? Yes. But it's alright. Maybe next time.

Much bolder than its predecessors, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is one of the hero's best titles, on par with gems like Planet Robobot and Return to Dream Land, and one that inspires confidence in the franchise's future.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn is a unique opportunity to please a very specific niche of RPG fans. It was made to please old time fans without tarnishing the masterpiece from 30 years ago. I assure you this is one of the best games of this genre, even bringing just a few reasons to those who already have experienced this adventure in the past. In any case, I loved revisiting Valeria and I know a lot of that feeling is just pure nostalgia.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge does what it set itself to do, bring people back to the 80's with a straight to the point beat ’em up experience. Despite of that, it remains modern, with enemies bringing up proper challenge to the player, even when facing the levels with friends. Unfortunately, it fails in bringing characters with personality. With all the turtles and other fighters doing pretty much the same thing, most passionate fans will still miss their beloved heroes.

Harry Potter fans will hardly find Hogwarts Legacy a forgettable experience. What really sets the game apart, though, is its ability to entertain and engage a wide audience with its unique combat, superb world-building and enchanting interactions. It does have edges that need refinement, but the game’s charm is powerful enough to make it one of the most memorable gaming experiences in recent years.

Even without some necessary changes, Super Mario RPG remains one of the plumber's most charming and eccentric adventures. The remake faithfully maintains it's quirkyness while expanding the magic with one of the Switch's most impressive graphic treatments. If you are a fan of the original, however, know that this is not exactly the remake that the original deserved.

Stray draws attention, stands out and it deserves just that. Annapurna Interactive's game is far from perfect, but the impression created here is that it will take a long time for such a unique proposal to be as well delivered as the kitten simulator. The game is perfect for those seeking a different experience without leaving behind clichés that are welcome in video games of the genre.

As a fan of science fiction, space, spaceships and so on, so far I'm very happy with the final result of Starfield, although there are points that could even be considered disappointments. However, the game really exploits Bethesda's mastery of creating all these different systems and it's clear to see the dedication and care that has gone into creating a new franchise for the company after so many The Elder Scrolls and Fallouts.

Re-Boot Camp rescues Advance Wars' brilliant gameplay formula from a 15-year hiatus, but does so without ever displaying any amount of ambition. Its lackluster online multiplayer offering is emblematic of a re-release that shines on purely through the ingenuity of the original's gameplay loop.

The storyline smothered by indifference and combat that becomes repetitive do not bring long-lasting entertainment to Marvel's Midnight Suns players, just as the proposal to create one's own avatar proves meaningless when the character already has his own past. Still, the game entertains and brings rich content in the form of interactions between heroes that can make Marvel comics and movies fans leave with glowing eyes.

F1 23 is another improvement over the previous game, with refined mechanics and new experiences that will please any racing fan. Not only that, but it makes it clear that upcoming games in the F1 franchise cannot be lacking in content that generates more engagement, hitting the nail on the head with F1 World and, most importantly, Braking Point 2. Any new F1 game that does not have these features will be considered a step backwards.

Cult of the Lamb is relaxing, fun and hilarious – some surprises that the game has in store probably will make you laugh out loud. The contrast of cuteness and macabre makes everything even more fun and unique, with quirky characters, scenarios and relaxing electronic soundtrack. Even though it’s not among the best roguelikes, Massive Monster’s title is most certainly a brilliant “cult simulator”.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard plays safe in a lot of aspects, specially its combat mechanics and by adhering to multiple, separate maps instead of a huge open world. That may seem disappointing coming from a franchise that used to have high complexity in its entirety, but the excellent narrative and great companion development are more than enough to hold the game together.
