As an entire package UFC is definitely a step forward for the video game representation of the sport, there are obvious missteps but largely everything is progressive.- The Digital Fix

Nevertheless, for anyone who enjoyed the first game Mugen Souls Z is more of the same, slightly refined and smartened up. For those accustomed to big-budget JRPGs – Ni No Kuni, Tales of Xillia – it definitely looks like a budget title and will underwhelm.- The Digital Fix

All in all, Light is an extremely short experience, easily beaten in just over an hour. If other levels were added, perhaps community-forged ones via the Steam Workshop, the value proposition might be better but as it is, there’s not much content here - a scant twelve levels.- The Digital Fix

It may have stumbled on occasion, but as Cry Wolf interlaces the straggling parts of what has come before, Telltale have once again given a lesson to writers of other story-driven games in how an ending should be done.- The Digital Fix

Broken Sword 5 is difficult to judge when considered alone, the combined game proves itself better than the sum of its individual parts, and playing the game in an episodic manner makes it feel like someone took a hatchet to a perfectly fine game and then split it apart – and then had the impudence to not even make sure the join was neat.- The Digital Fix

However, if you can get past the narrative dissonance introduced for the sake of agency, In Harm’s Way is still a cracking entry in the season with a few super twists, a truly satisfying punch-the-air moment, and an ending which leaves you in no doubt that the momentum started in the previous chapter shows no sign of abating.- The Digital Fix

Overall, One Piece: Unlimited World Red feels like a game made for fans of the series, and ultimately, they’re the only people we can consider recommending this game to.- The Digital Fix

Ultimately, what we’ve got here is absolutely zero failure in making the ultimate version of one of the greatest fighting games known to man. This is every bit ultra street fighting and Capcom deserve all manner of goodwill for continuing to develop their stunning game for casual sofa fighters and professional contestants alike.- The Digital Fix

For a game based on a comic book it’s suspiciously tedious and wide of the mark in terms of its humour - although we recognise that is subjective so you might take more from it than we did - but really the choices behind the control scheme mean that it fails in terms of what we’re here to assess; the game. From the moment you switch it on you’re wondering why you downloaded it, and the developers have no excuses.- The Digital Fix

Team 17 took a simple idea, blowing up enemy worms named after your mates with an arsenal of ridiculous weaponry, and turned it into one of the most iconic and fun memories in gaming. But that was 1995 and here we are in 2014 realising that not much has changed in nearly two decades.- The Digital Fix

In the end, despite some good work in combining RPGs and side-scrolling beat ‘em ups, it’s difficult to recommend Battle Princess of Arcadias to anyone but the most ardent fans of either genre.- The Digital Fix

Exposition-heavy, yet light on actual plot development, In Sheep’s Clothing is perhaps the weakest episode of The Wolf Among Us to date.- The Digital Fix

If you’ve got a small one of your own and money to burn then you’ll probably find something in PlayStation Vita Pets to make it worthwhile – if you’re missing one of those things then you’re best off staying away entirely or just hitting up iOS for something to tick off those basic interactions.- The Digital Fix

With this introduction to the world of hacking Ubisoft have created a behemoth of an IP, one that promises much. Like its predecessor though, we’ll have to wait for the tighter and more focussed second iteration, removing what didn’t work and improving that which did, to realise that full potential.- The Digital Fix

In many ways Monster Monpiece is a game that shouldn’t have even been made, let alone ported over here. Everything from the most ridiculous fan service ever through to the repeating in-battle chibi characters screams niche, and it’s not a good niche either.- The Digital Fix

As gamers, it’s heartening to see such serious and prevalent issues being treated with the weight they deserve in a medium more inclined to hand you a gun and point you towards the finish line; Ether One is a decent alternative to mainstream mindlessness, a thought-provoking and moving experience for those willing to commit.- The Digital Fix

Without a doubt, this first-person dungeon crawler is designed to appeal to a small, dedicated, niche group of Vita owners with a fondness for Japanese anime naughtiness and the patience of a saint. But for the majority, Demon Gaze provides too little reward for far too much hard work.- The Digital Fix

Ultimately what you have here is a visual guidebook (which is great but not really helpful at home on your PC) overlayed with an interactive romance novel, where the protagonist has minimal input to the final outcome, unless they know where you need to go to get the girl you want.- The Digital Fix

Bound By Flame had potential, its excellent crafting system and skill trees are a good basis for any RPG, but the unbalanced combat system doesn't do a good job of exploiting them.- The Digital Fix
