Project Laika's low price point is just about low enough to justify a DLC package with such little impact on gameplay. If you're the sort to coo over digital animals then it's going to hit the spot, but it's not likely to justify it's cost to the rest.

Though it lacks some finer polish, the low price tag and high replay value make amends if you can push through the initial barrier to entry. I worry, though, that there may not be enough content for Space Ops VR to maintain a healthy playerbase. The developers have already shown that player feedback is important to them, however, and with the correct treatment, a diamond could be cut from this rough gem.

Snakeybus is honest fun and beautiful, varied graphics, combined into an arcade game that's hedonistically addictive. It's admittedly light on features, but the core gameplay loop is enough to keep you hooked for a few hours. Just as the fun starts to wear thin, a new level usually unlocks to keep things interesting.

Constructor Plus is as frantic and fun as the original entry ever was, but a mixed approach to upgrading aged visuals and sound effects combine with an outdated user interface and strict gameplay progression to hold the game back, leaving it feeling like an expansion to Constructor rather than the sequel claims to be. Fans will find more to enjoy, but Constructor's anachronisms are likely to give newcomers pause for thought.

Fruit Ninja VR is a cheap, cheerful, and colourful arcade title that’s great to have in your catalogue. It’s got infinite replay value if you’re a score-chaser, but its appeal is otherwise limited. If you’re looking for a simple title to introduce friends and family to virtual reality, though, or just want a mindless game to warm up and wind down with, Fruit Ninja VR is the versatile multi-tool worth having in your VR toolbelt.

The few people in the centre of that tight vein diagram who decide to buy Fort Boyard: The Game will be disappointed when they play it, as it’s far more simplistic and short than the legions of better party games out there.

In trying to be so many things at once, Songbird Symphony never truly succeeds at any of them. This is far from a deal breaker, however, as the game is an enjoyable and unique combination of elements. This mix is then paired with the adorable protagonist, funny writing with a lot of childish puns, and a bouncy soundtrack to create possibly the most wholesome game this year.

RADtv could be the best VR party game there is, but it’s held back by a few infuriating hiccups. Still, for only £7, this is a cheap, cheerful riot that’s perfect for short stint carnage with friends and family.

Train Sim World’s 2020 upgrade certainly adds some much needed polish, but doesn’t fix the base game’s poor visuals or technical gremlins.

Aggelos is executed with the bright-eyed innocence of someone who loves Wonder Boy and Metroidvania. While it does little to innovate, it succeeds in providing a well-crafted, intricate world that leaves you with a lasting sense of discovery.

Another solid DLC release for Cities Skylines. New buildings, concepts and increased micromanagement adds a welcome new challenge.

Cinematic animations are integrated beautifully with Driven Out's precise controls, but the game lacks polish when it comes to making you feel positive about progress. Still, its short challenges are great testing grounds for your sword skills and combat is clean, especially against the larger bosses.

I do not think for one minute that this is a game for everyone. However, if you have a aptitude for learning a technique and like winter sport simulations then this game could be for you. After a steep early learning curve I really started to enjoy it, it works well and has a simple yet addictive gameplay loop. Maybe I will see you on the slopes.

In all, It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains: Remastered is a perfectly fine shooter that offers plenty of fun. At $15 it's well worth the price considering the good times that the split-screen multiplayer is sure to bring. A few more levels, a slightly better soundtrack, and maybe an extra gun or two would've elevated this game from simply "great" to "fantastic."

While I enjoyed most of my time playing 60 Seconds I do wish the gameplay was a bit more varied. it does get a bit samey after a few runs so it is best to play in short bursts. It is entertaining though and will not break the bank.

Down the Rabbit Hole was a great surprise, it is short but very, very sweet. It controls beautifully, its incredibly well designed and everything just works very well. This is very important in VR games and this title suits VR perfectly. Its bright, colourful and not too taxing. So why don't you take a little glimpse into a land of uncanny fantasy? You will not regret it.

Terrifying visuals are undermined by choppy controls and a frustrating use of procedurally generated levels. Monstrum could have been a terrifying horror experience, instead it became a boring one.

All in all, the Off The Grid DLC has been fun and a great addition to what seems an ever-expanding game. It always seems to come offer on Steam as well, so if you are missing it from your collection, it is a must buy. With Two Point Studios always developing new content, I cant see this game ever slowing down.

A Summer with the Shibu Inu will intrigue you with its various endings and cute character models, but its visual offerings and replay value are extremely limited overall. If you enjoy choose-your-own-adventure games, love dogs, and have a few hours to kill, this is worth playing, but prepare to be bewildered by the stranger, more ambiguous endings.

Enjoyable, fun and a reminder of days past. Ultracore is quite simple and sometimes difficult but a refreshing break from overly-bloated games of the modern era.

This game is a bit of a mixed bag, whilst a lot of thought has gone into the mechanics and non-traditional choices surrounding the combat, it can feel very flat at times.

I enjoyed playing Worm Jazz, but it's not a game I'm eager to return to. It has some fun levels but it's lacking in variety. If you want a fun, laid-back puzzle game it's not bad at all but, unlike some worms, I wasn't hooked.

CrossKrush is a short, compact puzzler that will entertain its players for as long as its ten levels last. There's some replay value in its various modes and multiplayer, but if you've memorised the solutions to each puzzle or perfected your strategy, there's no challenge to the gameplay. With limited content and often-frustrating controls to boot, this is a game suited only for casual playthroughs.

While it may get a bit repetitive over time, Ninja Legends is a lot of fun. It’s fast, it’s fluid and when you pull off amazing feats of ninja-like badassness, it feels superb. Just play it in short bursts and you will not go wrong.
