There is potential here, but Murder is too brief to be satisfying.

One man’s labour of love that pays homage to the greats of the past with only a few teething errors.

Within hours you will have experienced all it has to offer, and even that will have been rather dull and uneventful. With such competition in the current PC climate, Industry Manager: Future Technologies will no doubt struggle to find a home which is a shame since there is clearly some talent to the team behind it, the issue is they seem to lack direction. In the end it all feels like an experience with its single purpose driven so hard into it that it has no concept of the entertainment a game should bring.

Stunning and dramatic. You won't be able to look away as this story unfolds around you.

An attempt at resurrecting the horror genre from a top-down perspective that has gone horribly awry. Terrible controls, frustrating visual effects and limp action result in Outbreak being a barely functional game.

Vive le Roi may not rewrite history, but an elegant art style and addictive stealth gameplay certainly make it a worthy pretender to the throne.

Despite its polish, System Rift is a disappointing exercise in ennui, offering very little new or interesting over its two-hour playing time.

Simple in appearance but hiding considerable content, Tiles provides an alternative challenge for those in need of a novel puzzle, or a quick game between games. It can’t possibly match up to the ostentatious presentation of The Witness, or the heartwarming story of World Of Goo, but for a budget brainteaser you could do a whole lot worse.

All in all, despite the by-the-numbers approach that Compile Heart has to its stories, and it's penchant for lacklustre world design, it's the little details that honestly make Fairy Fencer F : Advent Dark Force an enjoyable experience. Even with shallow, predictable characters, they do have genuine-feeling interactions behind all the clichés. These walking anime stereotypes end up being quite endearing, if you can get over the initial first impressions that each one gives. Unfortunately all of these aren't enough to redeem the game quite sufficiently to make it a hit; the repetitive nature of the dungeons can get incredibly tedious very quickly, turning what could have been a fun time into a dull slog.

Despite the little niggles, Tethered has done a good job at making the crossing from being a fun game for VR to being a fun game full stop. It might seem simple on the surface, but it brings a new twist of a speed challenge to the god game experience without taking away the balancing act and patient build up you might expect. It’s certainly less fun when playing patiently, but it has enough charm and challenge to get you caught up in the act of pushing for record times.

A fun game with surprising depth to its strategy elements. However, the heavy focus on fan service may leave players feeling more than a little uncomfortable.

A short but enjoyable puzzle game that adds in new logic regularly in order to keep the challenge different as your progress. The visual style and the sound are both incredibly relaxing and both help to keep the experience engaging throughout.

To Hell With Hell is a twin stick bullet hell roguelike that is more than just a long collection of genres. With some interesting gameplay ideas and mechanics it does well to carve an identity all its own. The gameplay is good but the story lacks the heart to keep you invested if you don't get hooked straight away.

It’s clear that Vivid Games worked hard at creating the game, and it has a lot of potential peering out from the cracks. However it’s not reliably entertaining enough to compare to the plethora of other, more interesting mobile games.

Faeria has always been an intriguing game, with the Fall of Everlife expansion and the move away from free-to-play it has truly become something worth taking note of. The unique mechanics at play here really help it stand apart from the competition. With the addition of brand new cards including an army of yaks, now is the perfect time to jump in.

Let's Sing 2019 is sure to keep fans of singing with friends happy. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it doesn't really need to. The jukebox function is a nice touch, as is the smartphone integration.

Samsara invites the player into a shadowy and magical world of block-building puzzles. The gameplay experience falls down on its lack of detail, often leading to a lack of motivation to carry on into the depths of the game. However, the intricate solutions that can be achieved make the game time worthwhile, with play best reserved for a level or two in a spare few moments or a morning commute.

Overall, Black & White Bushido is an interesting take on the platformer fighter genre with some intriguing ideas and simple yet entertaining mechanics. Unfortunately, beyond AI bots, the game doesn’t include any form of story or campaign. As a local multiplayer party game, though, it’s a good value buy to be added in any party night’s rotation.
