  • Summary: Semispheres is a meditative parallel puzzle game that places dual realities at the heart of its challenge. Its unique single-player split-screen mechanic challenges your brain by putting you in control of two characters at the same time.

Semispheres runs very smoothly. The controls are simple and intuitive, the design is beautiful, and the music only adds to the overall meditative aesthetic. Sadly, it's over just as it begins, providing a pleasant but fleeting challenge to the player.

I've played about an hour so far, and it's a great game! Great atmosphere, challenging yet not impossible, and the story is cute. Not sureI've played about an hour so far, and it's a great game! Great atmosphere, challenging yet not impossible, and the story is cute. Not sure about replay value, but for what I paid and for what it is, it's a fantastic indie game! Looking forward to finishing it, and hopefully the dev released new puzzles and/or a sequel.

The visual style and music is top-notch, and controls are logical and everything just "makes sense". Great!

In Semispheres, each level will split your screen into halves, with one of your “semispheres” on the left side and the other on the right. TheIn Semispheres, each level will split your screen into halves, with one of your “semispheres” on the left side and the other on the right. The developers recommend a controller, which is what we used. If you do decide to use the keyboard controls then the WASD keys control the left semisphere and the arrow keys control the right semisphere. Although all of the puzzles have the same objective to move both semispheres to their goal spots, it might seem easier said than done.I must say that while playing, a couple of levels that gave me significantly more trouble than others, but I never had to cheat and somehow always managed to solve the puzzles by myself,. There was some level of frustration but I blame my own ineptitude rather than the developer. For a full review head on over to our website. Expand
