We enjoyed our time with SaGa Scarlet Grace Ambitions, but we think Romancing SaGa 3 is a much better title overall and we recommend newcomers to begin with that one. Nonetheless, if you're looking for a difficult and somewhat unique JRPG, you can't go wrong with this one.

Definitely not a masterpiece, but a huge video game for a true Dragon Ball Z fan.

Alien: Isolation is exactly the game that Switch owners were clamoring for. Simply, the greatest survival horror based on Alien franchise.

Even if with a porting that adds little in terms of new content, Tokyo Mirage Sessions arrives on Switch as the same, great JRPG it was on Wii U. Just don't expect to be surprised again if you've already played it four years ago.

With stiff animations and a ball physics that is not so realistic, AO Tennis 2 fails to represent a good simulation of this noble sport. Top Spin 4 remains the king even after nine years from its debut.

Assassin’s Creed The Rebel Collection does not bring anything new to the series, yet this was expected. Fortunately the Nintendo Switch conversion went unharmed, and both games allow two big single-player “pirate simulators” to be portable. Shay and Edward suffer little technical issues but their respective design limits are counteracted by each other, even for the majority of the public only Black Flag will be worth the buy. Only for collection or if you didn’t have the chance to play these games on current gen.

Paranoia: Happiness is Mandatory is an isometric RPG set in a dystopian future, but the real dystopia is the game itself.

Its quality is not on par with the excellent campaigns, due to balancing issues and the absence of any kind of online mode, but Shovel Knight Showdon is still a very fun party game for up to four players.

King of Cards is the better Shovel Knight campaign yet, and a great goodbye to this wonderful series of games. We really look forward to Yacht Club Games' next work, be it Shovel Knight 2 or else.

Star Ocean probably deserved a better treatment than the one Square gave it, because this port is lazy at best, with no QOL improvements and no new content. The game itself is still quite enjoyable, though.

Continuing down the path carved by Yakuza 3 Remastered, this fourth installment in the Yakuza franchise doesn't reinvent the wheel, but offers 25 plus hours of fun for all the fans of the series, even if with a barebone remaster.

Europe has been waiting 24 years for a playable version of Romancing SaGa 3, and the wait is finally over: what we have is a unique and challenging RPG, which is worth playing today, even if for a hefty price.

Lost Ember is a beautiful wild adventure, a journey through the memory of a lost civilization, a travel touched by too many technical errors.

Asterix & Obelix XXL 3 moves on a awfully thin line. Despite its being fun both on single and cooperative play, and a good conversion of the atmosphere of the original comicbook series, too many times this game stops only to “snack fun”. It seems that there was a “change of mood” from the previous games of the series, which came to avoid all the exaggeration and satire that made the XXL brand well-known, to follow the recent road digged by the CG animated movies about the character. For irreducible fans only, more than ever.

Mary Skelter 2 is a very solid dungeon crawler that will appeal to all fans of the genre, especially for its quirky story and dark tones. Not suitable for all newcomers, though: it's long, difficult and sometimes even obscure in some of its puzzles.
