Rise of the Ghost is the first DLC of RAGE 2: it tells a new story and offers new missions, but looks like a more of the same and a portion of the game ripped off from the original game.

Code Vein is an interesting mix between a soulslike and an anime, but fails to stay close to the top of the genre.

The Ninja Saviors is a blast from the past, and shows to newcomers what the fuss was about twenty years ago in both the arcades and the console market: pure, unadulterated fun for one or two players, as if it was September of 1994.

Police Stories is more then a simple Hotline Miami copy-and-paste, and add some very interesting tactics options to the top-down shooter mechanics.

FIFA 20 is one of the most balanced games in the series to date, and has finally slowed its frantic gameplay down a bit, but is not reinventing any of its modes and core mechanics as it looks like a transition title.

Thanks to a compelling combat system and a deep character customization, The Surge 2 is a better game than the previous one, but fails to stay close to the giants of the genre.

The console version of Wreckfest is as good as the PC one, but we were expecting extra cars and tracks after a whole year on the market. This is nonetheless a worthy successor to the Destruction Derby and FlatOut franchises.

Contra Hard Corps is the worst Contra episode up to date, and a boring and messy twin stick shooter by itself: if this is the future of the franchise, we might be playing the Contra Anniversary Collection over and over.

A great game, as always, with a bad in-game purchases system and few aging problems.

Borderlands 3 is everything we hoped for. Gearbox has refined the traditional formula of the franchise, improving its powerful mix of FPS and RPG elements with new intriguing features. The heart of the Campaign is the inimitable humor embodied by the characters, except for the bad guys: Calypso twins struggle to find their place among the stars.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is an amazing remake that gives new life to a 26 year old game, with a brilliant art style and a perfect progression tied to the finding and the use of accessories. The only technical flaws are represented by some frame rate issues during the transition from one area to another.

The Hunter & The Beast is the last DLC for Total War: Warhammer II. It adds new factions, units and mechanics, but there are some missing points for the new campaigns.

This is the weakest version of the game overall, but it's also the only one that allows to explore at anyone's leisure whenever and wherever. If you plan to play on a TV, opt for the PS4 or PC version, otherwise Ni No Kuni on Switch is the (only) way to go.

We would have liked more new content and a more affordable price tag, but this Remastered version of Ni No Kuni makes a timeless classic available in 4K and for a new generation of gamers.

Devil's Hunt is a train wreck: from the shallow and dull story to the technical flaws and imprecise combat system, the game looks like a product with a concept from twenty years ago.

Even though Greedfall it's Spiders best work to date, that doesn't mean it is a flawless action RPG: its quest system and settings are its standouts, but clunky combat and too much repetition are obvious weak points.

Star Wars Pinball is a fun and complete experience for fans of pinball and star wars alike, but it could bring boredom rather quickly for those who are not big fans of the good old pinball.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy lives on contrasts. We can be Spyro whenever we want with the portability and a lot of content to experience with a great control system. But also we cannot deny that the portability was payed with lot of technical compromises, that weren’t even enough to give the game a constant fluidity. Perhaps it’s only to those who have only Switch as a current-gen console.

The best football simulation on the market this generation. It's like everything is about the pitch and what happens inside. There's still a lack of licenses, but if you can get over that, this is the game for you.

Daemon X Machina is one of the biggest surprises of this year on Nintendo Switch: a third person shooter that is much more of the sum of its parts, recommended not only to mech and anime fans but to anyone looking for a good mission-based shoot'em up.

Saviors of Uldum feels more like a complement to Rise of Shadows than a full fledged expansion, but it still a worthy addition to the Hearthstone metagame. Now we only hope the next (and last for 2019) will be far heavier.

Both Grandia games deserved a much better treatment than the one GungHo gave them, and we really hope the publisher will support the game in the coming weeks, but the sheer value of the titles inside this package is enough to recommend a buy nonetheless for any Switch owner.

Gears 5 is the natural evolution of the Gears series: a more daring game, in every possible way. The Campaign took us by surprise, not only with its narration, but also with its bold design choices. The single-player experience prepares the player for a second round, with the gargantuan multiplayer section, where we find the glorious old modes and an Escape mode that punished and seduced us.
