The first adventure of Master Chief is a must for anyone who hasn't ever played it yet, but it is too expensive and offers nothing really new. The gameplay feels too aged to have another go if you already played it in the past.

Revelations is a sequel that won't disappoint the fans of the saga, yet it lacks in polish. The difficulty level is still too low, AI and combat system don't make every gameplay addition smooth to play. It still feels more like an expansion of the second chapter than an entirely new chapter.

Played on PC, Modern Warfare 3 is as entertaining as it should be, but it lacks in technical evolution, especially on a platform where graphics have been pushed far beyond in the last year. On the other hand, dedicated servers finally do the trick, making it a good choice for every COD fan out there.

Volition succeeded in making its joint even more enjoyable: updated graphics and over-the-top missions make it a lot of fun to play, especially with a friend. It probably lacks in innovation when compared to its predecessor, but it's a chapter of the saga you don't want to miss.

It's a funny and well developed platform, bestowed with an incredible design. It can fit both the novice and the veteran, yet it won't fully satisfy neither, and this is its biggest drawback, to witch you must consider also the vert short length.

On consoles, DICE's work comes without the two things that made it great on PC: scale and over the top graphics. It's still an incredibly solid and compelling online shooter, but it definitely feels too close to Bad Company 2. This year, Battlefield should be a PC only matter.

Gameplay is lame, the story feels boring after a couple of minutes, the characters just don't fit, bugs and lack of polish are everywhere. And it's a shame, because sometimes you can feel that TCC could've been a good title.

Anytime you play, The Binding of Isaac offers different dungeons and enemies and this is great. Graphics and music are good, like everything else, just nothing is excellent.

It lacks optimization, both in controls and bug fixing, sometimes with major crashes and incompatibility with common hardware. Even when working, it doesn't seem like there's any reason to be found for the 6 months delay.

Cars 2 is a title that fits the target to which it refers, bestowed with a good gameplay. A shame for the almost complete lack of online features.

One of the best action RPGs to date. Crazy depth, lots of quest and dragons: Skyrim is everything the RPG fans are looking for.

Just a collection of minigames, some entertaining, but not all of them. Not really a good bargain.

Following in its predecessors footsteps, MW3 once again offers a great piece of entertainment. The campaign is short as usual, yet well-crafted, especially for the urban environments. Spec Ops, both Missions and Survivals, are a lot of fun, but the true heart of it all is in the competitive multiplayer. New modes and rebalanced perks and streaks add some teamwork-oriented action, and the overall experience is rich and entertaining as usual. It lacks in innovation, but it's still the best shooter on HD consoles.

Disgaea 4 A Promise Unforgotten is a good step forward for the Disgaea saga. Humour is great as always, and turn-based strategy goes as it should.

The Adventures of Tintin is a good tie-in of Spielberg's performance capture 3D film. It has an action/platform-based gameplay and is very simple. Only for young players.

Sengoku is a good, complex and extreme strategy game. True strategists will appreciate its good AI and wide variety of choices. Less hardcore players should just stay away from it.

There's fun to be had with this one, especially for the great characters and enjoyable storyline. Sadly, there's some lack of polish in the annoying in-game camera and the bad lock on enemies, and graphics don't stand out as they did in the past titles.

Tintin is a tie-in platform that follows the adventures of the French journalist. The formula sits in a dangerous middle: platforming is complex even for the more experienced players, but the enemies don't have a well crafted AI, resulting in a mixed experience, not fully suitable neither for the younger players nor for the hardcore market.

Uncharted is still an incredible cinematic experience, but its own issues remain the same: limited interactivity, often too linear. Despite this, it's still one of the best adventure titles of the year, one you shouldn't miss. Multiplayer is just an add-on, but a very well crafted one.

The true strenght of DICE's new title is its multiplayer component: massive battles, vehicles, destruction and an exceptional overall polish of Frostbite 2 offer an incredible piece of entertainment and raise the bar for online competition. Coop mode is also enjoyable, although it won't last long: good to have an afternoon's worth of fun with a friend, it makes you wonder why the whole campaign hasn't been made available for this kind of cooperation. As for the campaign itself, it's mostly playable, but still the weakest part: too much Call of Duty style, desperately linear and sometimes too slow, it doesn't add anything new to the genre.

Even if sold stand alone on consoles, The Sims 3 Pets is just an expansion pack: it won't revolutionize the gameplay of the third chapter, and some gameplay feature aren't deep as we would've liked. Add bugs and missing optimization on consoles, and what you have is a title suited just for sims maniac.
