Bloodborne is a conglomeration of hallucinations, violence and anguish, which has the courage to break away from the series that gave it birth to give players an experience as sick as exciting, challenging and rewarding.

Blue Prince is not just a game — it’s an invitation to engage in a layered, active process of interpretation. It defies conventions, rewards patience, and values the player’s critical intelligence. It won’t appeal to everyone, but those who accept its challenge will come out changed. A rare, bold, and necessary experiment.

Gigantic, with a majestic world, a brilliant narrative, great dialogue and characters, The Witcher 3 fails miserably when it comes to pure gameplay. Its simplistic combat system and repetitive quest structure are a monster that even Geralt cannot kill.

Forza Motorsport 3 is a great sequel, and it deserves the title of best driving simulation of this generation.Despite a couple of unexpected flaws, like a slightly unbalanced difficulty system and some small graphics issues, this is a title to have if you love racing games.

Demons' Souls is probably the most respectful remake we've ever seen: the core is the same, but the game finally looks like a real next-gen opera that enhances a true pillar of the genre.

A masterpiece. Don’t overlook this game for its retro graphics or pseudo-jrpg structure, it is pure genius. Undertale takes the jrpg genre, deconstructs it and enriches the whole experience with amazing writing, a fantastic storyline and a truly intelligent approach to “battles”. Seeing that games like these are still being made is truly a joy.

Batman Arkham Asylum is a product of absolute value that can count on a cast of colorful characters to build a great game, really fun. The greatest strengths of the production lie in the gameplay built around what are the real capabilities of Batman, mixing action and stealth section, but always related with the universe from which have been extrapolated. Rocksteady's game is certainly the new standard for understanding how produce games under license, adapting for videogaming the very spirit of this historic character.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is a bold new IP from Studio Zero and Atlus, and one of the best at that. Familiar yet innovative, mature but not without moments of levity, with a slew of very functional new systems, this is one of the best JRPGS of the last years and surely GOTY material for this one.

Calling it “crazy” is not nearly enough. This game redefines action games, by taking everything to the next level. It's pure adrenaline, and its amazing combat system has yet to be reached. Its only fault lies in the excess of gigantic bosses, where the mechanics don't feel as perfect. If you love the action genre get this game. It's an order.
