Not a sudden war nor fifteen years in development stopped the people at GSC Game World from showing their potential once again: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl delivers on almost all fronts, giving us a cruel and immersive world in which we can all get lost. We already know we won't have to wait too long for multiplayer and mod support, but let's also hope we won't have to wait another fifteen years for another game like this.

A wonderful port that bestows PSP owners of one of the best beat'em ups ever, surely the best portable one. Great controls, fast fights, amazing visuals. This is Tekken 6 for Playstation Portable.

King of Cards is the better Shovel Knight campaign yet, and a great goodbye to this wonderful series of games. We really look forward to Yacht Club Games' next work, be it Shovel Knight 2 or else.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was the last missing piece to recreate the whole quadrilogy of Xenoblade Games on Nintendo Switch, and this Definitive Edition makes it justice. The team worked on most of the things that didn't work so well in the original (an already great game) and made it viable for both newcomers and old-time fans.

Yakuza 0 Director's Cut is one of the best games in Switch 2 launch lineup, since it is the best version of one of the best episodes in the whole Yakuza franchise. This should be enough to recommend a buy, but the new Red Light Raid, extra story content and new localization languages round up a perfect package.

Some will say it's a "conservative" game, others that there's nothing new about it, some that it's a good game and nothing more. But all of them will spend hundreds of hours into it, and believe us, they will have fun. A lot of it.

Hitman 2 is exactly like Hitman, but better. The more-of-the-same feeling is strong, but IO Interactive delivers an interesting and well-crafted experience that makes this new evolution in Agent 47's life feel like the natural progression in this franchise.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is, without a doubt, the ultimate game for any Dragon Ball fan. The combat system not only builds on the classic PS2 games but enhances them significantly, making each battle feel as close as possible to the epic confrontations seen in the original anime and manga. The game modes are impressive as well; the story mode, in particular, holds some delightful surprises, while the Custom Battle mode promises plenty of replay value—just to name a few highlights from the single-player content. Add to this an immense character roster and numerous little touches that fans will appreciate. Of course, there are some flaws, especially in terms of character balancing, but if you’re a devoted Dragon Ball fan, rest assured—this game was made with you in mind.

Despite the lack of innovation, all fans of the series will enjoy this seventh chapter and also in general 3DS owners should consider buying it, as it's one of the best chapters of the entire saga.

It's great when it comes to shooting techniques and weapons, it's bestowed with a desperate and truly well crafted atmosphere, yet it falls short on delivering a great finale to the saga, at least naratively speaking. The good multiplayer side adds even more value to it as an FPS, making it a great choice for every fan of the brand.

If you were expecting a game on par or even better than Origins, you'll probably be a bit disappointed by this second chapter. A year and a half of development isn't enough to craft a masterpiece, even for Bioware, and the final product is plagued by bugs and repetitive dungeons. That Said, Dragon Age II is still a great RPG with a fantastic fighting system, a grand storyline and a lot of other redeeming qualities, and if you like the genre you should definitely check it out.

Modnation Racers proved a pleasant surprise. A title that brings all the carefree fun of racing karts and introduces something new which can be capable of refreshing the genre and expanding the range of strategic options granted to the player. Next to the solid and challenging gameplay tacked on by developers, you can find an editor with great potential and above all is very easy to use which, together with extensive online support, should ensure good longevity. A game that you love, even if it can't rely on well known characters.

Split Second is a funny arcade racer, standing up on its own unique trait: the ability to blow up specific elements of the track, a chance gained only when driving with a certain skill. Spectacular as the Hollywood movies to which it inspires, it falls short on customization and online options. It won't last more than the 10/12 hours offered by the campaign, which is a shame indeed. Still, it deserves to be played for its unique and funny approach to the racing genre.

Falcom did it again: The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel III is probably their best work up to date, and on of the best JRPgs available for Playstation 4 and PC. The only downside is that you'll need to have played both Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 to better appreciate the writing and story.

Dirt 3 will please the fan of the brand, bestowing them with a lot of content, quality graphics and phisycs simulation. It's not a simulation though, and some bugs and lack of polish sometimes spoil the overall formula. The interesting multiplayer modes add variety to the mix, and will grant you a lot of fun beyond the career itself.

The last entry in the Layton series maintains the magic and the witty puzzles, and closes the saga with an interesting and mysterious storyline. If you loved the previous entries you'll love this one too, it's quite the closure.
