A nice and immediate dungeon crawler that also proves itself to be a challenging title. Featuring some great ideas and a 16-bit look, this game will please many nostalgics. At the same time, we've already seen this kind of games dozens of times.

FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014 sure can't be defined as a revolution within the series. The die-hard fans of the series will find a game that can break the monotony of FIFA 14, but at a price way too expensive given the scarce amount of new content.

This Deluxe Edition feels unnecessary and doesn't add anything really new. Also, the HD treatment is bland and the game works better for portable console. This is simply the worst Arkham game, good only for the blindest Batman fans.

Boom Beach is the latest game developed by Supercell. The app is characterized by good graphics, an intuitive gameplay and an excellent tactical component. However, the environments are repetitive and some game mechanics need to improve.

Royal Revolt II is fun, but not as fun as its predecessor. You can fight against other people and challenge them with your troops, but in order to actually win against the strongest opponents, you need to pay real money. While the game is completely playable totally free of charge, microtransactions are basically everywhere.

King Oddball is certainly a game suitable for mobile phones or tablets. Riding the wave of success of Angry Birds, this game turns out to be a bit out of context on PS4 because of its basic features. Too bad.

Epoch 2 is a good quality on-rail shooter, a honest successor of the first episode, with the same strengths and weaknesses. The visuals are excellent, the gameplay fun until we realize we keep on repeating the same actions.

Football Club is a nice little title, just not deep enough to please Football Manager's fans but recommended for a fast (and rpg-style) romp through the world of football seen from the bench.

Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut is a good space shooter and will appeal those who twenty years ago loved Wing Commander and X-Wing. It certainly does not reach the same quality levels, but the new missions are interesting and the graphics, despite some loss of tone, are not bad at all.

The game fails in almost every aspects: the races are quite boring, the events are utterly repetitive, there is no multiplayer and technical issues are always around the corner. If you want to drive a tractor in a videogame, you can actually find something better than this.

With the exception of some small twists, A Crooked Mile is not convincing and leaves the player unsatisfied for almost the entire duration of the chapter. Only in the final minutes a glimmer of light touches the production, though perhaps too feeble to illuminate the entire series.

A couple of nice touches to the drawn elements of the two games, a few extra costumes, and the opportunity to select the voices in Japanese are not enough to make us cheer for the return of these two titles. At the same time, Tales of Symphonia is still one of the best JRPGs ever made.

Aside from a few fun mechanics introduced by this chapter, there is nothing new here to leave you speechless. At the same time, the perpetual smiles on our faces that this title left us, compels us to recognize its merits.

The possibility to choose between two different protagonists, a complex alchemy system, and the management of the time for the completion of missions, make the work by Gust an experience as unusual as appreciable.

Reaper of Souls is an excellent expansion without a shadow of a doubt. The Act V is perfectly designed and although it doesn't last long, the great replayability of the game makes it just a minor issue.

Not everyone will like the graphics, the absence of a classical narrative, the level design, and many kind of enemies, but if you are looking for a shooter a little different than usual, think about getting it.

The Book of Legends is a classic retro J-RPG that proves itself to be long-lived, solid, interesting, full of things to do and with many characters and secrets to discover. On the other hand, it's a classical formula with very little new stuff. But that's not a big deal.

This game could've been great. Unfortunately, this title by Milestone stumbles in the usual technical problems, headed by a system of collisions due to frequent phenomena of interpenetration polygonal and constant texture pop-ups on the track.

There is really nothing original in this game, but it fulfills its duty to entertain us, make us think and, ultimately, have fun. To put it simple, this game does what every good puzzle-platformer should always do.

With Tiny Brains we face the classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: a title featuring some major structural deficiencies, but at the same time a lot of fun if played in the company of one or more friends.

What we have seen so far with Wii Sports Club has positively impressed us. Some of the games are well managed while some aren't, but in general the realization of each sport is qualitatively appreciable.

Dr. Luigi is less entertaining than its predecessor on the Wii. The new game modes are nice but not thrilling, and the multiplayer falls short. At the same time, this is a game that the fan of the series should take into consideration.

We feel sorry to see that a great publisher like Namco Bandai, in possession of a good license such as One Piece, produced such a mediocre title, which will be attractive only to the hardcore fans of the series, and especially the younger among them.

Daedalic's first time in the world of RPG is one of those to remember. Blackguards is not a flawless game: it has a slow gameplay that after hours and hours can be boring, technically it is not that great and has an annoying problem of balancing the difficulty. Yet it remains a great role-playing game.

It is not easy to sum up a game like Might & Magic X: Legacy. It is beyond reasonable doubt a game largely based on nostalgia, but at the same time is honest and well made.

Some good ideas are not enough to revive Dragon Ball Z. The combat system is far too simplistic and the mechanics show a lot of problems that make this game mediocre.

Despite a good evolution from the past entry of the series, what FX did is not enough to make this game a real winner. Everything must be improved in order to make it a game able to compete with Football Manager.

Madden NFL 25 is the best American football game on the market. Mainly because it's the one and only. Even with this series EA seems to have fallen asleep, focusing more on the reaffirmation of the good aspects of the past rather than the introduction of something new.
