Considering the cuts to the Resident Evil 3 campaign, Resident Evil: Resistance is certainly content that manages to balance the overall value of the product rather well.

Mushroom Men creates an original and living world but doesn't develop it with own standards. This brings to a good work but it draws on a game very similar to other action adventures or platforms come before. However the people who like these two genre can have fun whit this Pax's adventure on condition that they don't expect much more of a classic gameplay.

Despite an optimization that works only half the time, Red Faction: Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered has managed to entertain us like never before, even ten years after its first debut. If you have never stepped on Red Faction's martian soil, this Switch porting represents a great opportunity to make up for it.

Fae Farm is a nice and cozy life simulator, but a dull cast of characters and a repetitive gameplay keep it away from greatness.

Oninaki could have been Tokyo RPG Factory's best work to date, but ends up to be "just" a solid hack'n'slash rpg with a good combat system due to repetitiveness and a lack of depth.

Fantasian Neo Dimension is a perfectly fine old-school JRPG, fit for both veterans and newcomers of the genre. It's just that we expected a little more from Sakaguchi-san, whose masterpieces we grew up with on both Nintendo and Sony machines.

Dynasty Warriors 9 Empires gives the player a wide and deeper range of possibilities than its predecessors to lead a successful campaign conquering third-century China. However, despite its deeper management and its simple (indeed solid) one-versus-thousands formula, it fails to completely develop its growth from the past, also struggling with a graphic engine still overwhelmed with fatigue and technical issues. Give it a try (even with the demo) and then decide.

There's nothing inherently wrong with Disgaea 4 Complete Plus, aside from the high price requested and the complete lack of new content. What's left is a competent and very long running SRPG.

The remake of Butcher Bay is a great work: a classic game with enhanced graphics and the same great gameplay... despite this the new story, Escape From Dark Athena, is simply pointless. Multiplayer quality is too far from today standards, so it results in a valueless feature.

It’s certainly not fair to say that Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is a bad project—far from it—but there’s a clear and undeniable sense that it’s a far less daring effort than expected. That said, it remains a solid roguelite that, with a fair amount of cleverness, manages to attract genre fans thanks to a wide range of ability combinations and an element of unpredictability that enhances its overall replay value. Still, when considering the full narrative and artistic potential of the world of Alea—with its biting critiques and grotesque tales—it’s hard not to feel a tinge of regret.

We’ve really appreciated the return of Goscinny & Uderzo’s creature in videogame with this Asterix & Obelix Slap Them All. Choosing an arcade beat’em up was a fitting idea, and the decision to merge it with an exquisite hand-drawn graphic was the best way to start a new beginning for Asterix in modern gaming. However, the game reuses too much assets throughout the adventure and it's victim of its own repetitiveness, which prevents him to reach higher scores. Perhaps the masterpiece is not on sight, but the Gauls have taken the right road to reach it.
