As a free extra to the main game it would've been acceptable. As it is, an expensive entreè to what's to come, Dead Space Ignition feels like an unpolished add on. If you can't live without the unlockable extra weapon to be used in Dead Space 2, you might consider buying it. Otherwise, patiently wait for the big deal in January and save the money.

Flashback 2 is a complete mess and it's a real shame, as its predecessor is still fondly remembered by a lot of players. We will probably never know the reasons behind such a failure, but, having spent too much time on the game, what we can do is recommending you to avoid buying it in its current state.

NBA Live 2014 is one of the worst sports games to date. After a few years, the NBA Live franchise isn't in good shape. Player models look like plastic, game modes are boring, control system is poor and AI awful. EA Sports needs to work very hard to even come close to its competitors.

The multiplayer experience, though it's probably the best part of the game, is extremely poor when compared to the other chapters of the Call of Duty brand. Code Violet is one of those games that is born convinced it has something to say and dies without ever really finding the right words. It leans on a powerful imagery, uses it as a crutch, and then lets it fall, unable to stand on its own. A spectacular failure, and this is its true problem: it is a timid, confused product, lacking the identity necessary to turn inspiration into vision. When you play with the ghosts of the past, you should know how to evoke fear, not nostalgia. Here, neither happens, and all that remains is the feeling of having witnessed a wasted opportunity.

Monster 4x4: Stunt Racer it’s better than the previous episode, but at the same time not entirely convincing. This time Ubisoft has treated more technical aspects, good response of the Wii Wheel, and has attempted to offer a complex product varied and rich in ideas. In reality, however, the title does suffer because of a not sublime feeling of speed, some evidence is not properly inspired and that perhaps some game options were not studied with great care. The ideas are good and overall have fun for a few hours either alone or with friends. The inevitable comparison with the ancient Excite Truck humiliates Stunt Racer 4x4 does not disappoint at all, but does not reach that stretched enough.

It is not easy to judge a product like Madagascar Kartz for Nintendo DS. The Activision’s game seems pleasant and well structured. The sympathy of the characters, very welcome extras, a good technician and a good mechanical compartment make everything positive.
