AirMech, in most players opinions, is a mixture of Dota and Command and Conquer, and both are easily seen. AirMech is also a remake of the old SEGA game Herzog Zwei, a game where the AI's were much harder. This is an amazing game that everyone should try out at least once and the small community could use a real boost.… Expand

   This game is holding me captive for almost a full year now. I used to be SC fan, played all sorts of shooter games as well. AirMech is simply tailored to satisfy all my gaming appetites.
   There is no middle ground. You will eather get totally addicted or simply ignore this one.
   Ignoring it would mean not giving it a shot.
   Great community, lots of events, giveaways, streamers are just another thing that make this game even more awesome.
   I recommend everyone to give it a shot. It's not P2W kind of game, so no worries.… Expand

   I love strategy games and I love fast paced action games. This combines them both into a nonstop shooter where you fly mechs that transformI love strategy games and I love fast paced action games. This combines them both into a nonstop shooter where you fly mechs that transform into airplanes/helicopters/ufo's. This game took me away from SC2 and hasn't let go for almost a year AND ITS STILL IN BETA TESTING. Build tanks, create armies, lots of freedom to play your own way and still win. Multiplayer is definitely the meat of this game. Delicious, mouth watering PvP action.… Expand

Airmech is in the style of an Action RTS (Real-Time Strategy) game. This differs from MOBA primarily in that you can both build different types of units and command them in multiple ways as well as joining the battle yourself.
   The basic gameplay is a simple concept. Each team has a main fortress with limited health and there are several smaller bases throughout the map that you capture to increase your income and close in on your opponent. Each base requires you to send four infantry units into it after eliminating all enemy infantry occupying the base.
   Beyond the basics, there are a lot of strategic catalysts. Airmech provides a wide selection of mech classes (currently 9) that are diverse in abilities and basic stats which provides for a wide range of strategies with your mech itself. Each mech has a mech form and an air form. Each class of mech has a different style of aircraft it transforms into (osprey, UFO, helicopter, etc.) and multiple reskins on sale from the market.
   The units in Airmech come in all shapes and sizes. Everything from massive tanks that can break straight through a hole in your enemies defenses to small speeder-bike style units that can rush bases at the beginning of a match. There is a unit for every situation and then some. Players may find it difficult to decide between units as some are nearly identical in stats and even visual design.
   Also, be prepared to find references everywhere. This game has units everywhere from Portal turrets to creepers to Syrian Resistance tanks. The references may be a downer to gamers who prefer a more serious feel to their games, but for the most part are good for a few laughs.
   The main downside to this game is that after awhile every match starts to feel the same. You can always mix it up with a change in your loadout or by trying to master a new class of mech, but overall the gameplay can feel repetitive if you play long enough.… Expand

My cousin and I would play this game literally every morning, weCarbon games you really ruined what was a big point of my late childhood. My cousin and I would play this game literally every morning, we played in all of the tourneys. We were actually getting so good and just like that you managed to kill the community. I don't know how you did it but you did and I am honestly just so sad to lose a game like this. I want to go back and play it again but no one is every online anymore and I can't even try. I have kind of just given up at this point. Rest in Peace Airmech. Rest In Peace… Expand
