Syberia - Remastered is more like a remake. Despite this, the developers managed to preserve the style and atmosphere of the original.

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black looks good, but doesn't give the impression of the definitive version at all.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered was unlucky: the compilation includes the worst games of the original series. And it seems that Aspyr Media, as Core Design once did, didn't have enough time to finish the unfinished games.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is better than the first installment in terms of gameplay and narrative. But unfortunately, developers have created primarily a linear game. The open world and all related things are rather attached as an extra.

The Thing: Remastered, like the original, tries as hard as it can to be like a good game. Do not believe it.

The fifteen-year ordeal of Asylum's developers didn't end with a happy ending: while most of the game is praiseworthy, the final part is highly disappointing.

Old Skies by Wadjet Eye Games is an inventive, very varied, and wildly entertaining classic adventure.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars has some downsides, but they pale against the interesting story and unusual gameplay.

Assassin's Creed Shadows can entertain you, even despite the silly plot. But you won't lose anything without this game.

This game is a curious artifact of a bygone era. It's not terrible, but the story behind its development is far more interesting than the gameplay.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's Souls-inspired, turn-based combat system can ruin your mood. If you can handle it, you'll discover a rich, surreal world with an interesting story full of emotion.

According to the developers, they were inspired by XCOM and Silent Storm when creating Forgotten but Unbroken. But in fact there is little in common between the new and old games: Forgotten but Unbroken looks like typical modern indie tactics like Classified: France '44.

Shadows of the Damned is back from oblivion and looks surprisingly fresh. Unfortunately, the remaster turned out to be too ascetic.

Gothic fans will probably feel right at home. Just2D could have truly made a game of its own, but unfortunately the studio chose to resurrect ghosts of the past.

Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles is an old game for fans, slightly improved on the occasion of its release on modern platforms. But even fans will need a certain amount of patience and understanding to make it through to the finale.

Tales of Graces f Remastered is a good re-release of a game with an extremely weak script. It can be given a chance for the sake of a good role-playing system, but if you want to find something better it won't be hard to find.

You can't look at Sid Meier's Civilization VII without tears. I doubt that large-scale DLCs will fix the situation - this building needs to be demolished together with the foundation.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.. is a terrible remaster of a great game. There's almost nothing to do in single-player, and the developers didn't bother to polish the multiplayer before the release.

Avowed is a weak RPG focused on monotonous action. It's hard to take it seriously after the excellent Pillars of Eternity 1 & 2.

MechWarrior 5: Clans feels more arcade than MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries. For example, the AI of opponents is primitive. But more or less serious games about giant walking robots are rare these days, so I played MW 5: Clans in one breath.

Clock Tower: Rewind is for fans of old horror games in general and the Clock Tower series in particular. The original was great, but the developers of the Rewind edition made no effort to improve the graphics and sound.

Little Big Adventure: Twinsen's Quest is a remake of the 1994 game. Fans curse the new game for its visual style and plot changes, but I managed to get some enjoyment. The colorful world of Twinsun hasn't lost any of its former charm.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is a bit like Alan Wake 2 – also a very ambitious horror game with a lot of flaws. However, I give credit to Bloober Team: I think Bloober Team did their job better than Remedy Entertainment.

If you don't play all Call of Duty games in a row, but pick the best one every few years, then Black Ops 6 is the first contender for your money and time.
