Hard West destroys its characters in such a spectacular manner that you can’t take your eyes off this dazzling drama. If only the ending wasn’t so subdued…- Riot Pixels

Fans of WH40K board games will probably enjoy this video game. Fans of computer strategy games should probably buy Valkyria Chronicles 4 instead.- Riot Pixels

Star Trucker is a heartwarming game. Unfortunately, its brutal rules are stifling, preventing you from enjoying your flights.- Riot Pixels

The world of Encased is scant on exciting adventures, yet it’s overflowing with gibberish to the point that it breaks any suspension of disbelief.- Riot Pixels

A stellar example of a game that is totally not worth your time. No one will reward you for suffering through ho-hum gameplay with a well-crafted story, and there is not enough humor to make up for all the flaws.- Riot Pixels

Generic heroic fantasy with naive themes and two-dimensional caricatures instead of characters. The writing is all right, with some bright spots here and there, but this story is not worth the emotional havoc this game wreak on you with its poor game design logic and bugs.- Riot Pixels

The graphics in Yooka-Laylee are not bleeding edge, but it is incredibly close to what they call 'artistic perfection', and it brings nothing but joy.- Riot Pixels

Little Hope is a slight improvement over Man of Medan. It’s still not scary at all, but at least it's less annoying than the first game. This time around, Supermassive wrote a better story, used decent camera angles, and purged awkward jokes (dumb "screamers" are still in there, though).- Riot Pixels

A fun, varied and relaxing skyscraper sim. It can be a little bit formal at times, and there are some glaring deficiencies, but it is a welcome return to this theme nonetheless.- Riot Pixels

This game is a definite downgrade from last year’s Infinite Warfare. More scripted scenes and QTE, less freedom, no side missions, but — hey! — medkits are back. Call of Duty: WWII proves yet again that World War II has run its course in video games. Let’s put it behind for good and get back to starfighters, cyborgs and laser rifles.- Riot Pixels

Sakura Wars is a game for exactly one playthrough, a genre-melding experiment where dialogue, dating and combat are mixed in equal parts.- Riot Pixels

Lemma is a good showcase for VR devices. There is very little in terms of good story or deep gameplay mechanics, but it offers accessible, action-packed parkour in an abstract futuristic setting. Add more meat to these bare bones, please!- Riot Pixels

A decent battle royale for newcomers, and casual fun for those who play only on weekends. Necessary items are highlighted, short matches, respawn in team battles. I wish they added training grounds, though.- Riot Pixels

A thrilling adventure for a couple of nights. You’ll probably see all of its major plot twists a mile away, but the clash with horrors lurking in an ancient temple is definitely worth your time.- Riot Pixels

The main mistake of RuneQuest: Warlords is that it missed the chance to fix the flaws of Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector. The game didn't surprise me, although overall it turned out to be decent. For fans of RuneQuest, it's a real treat.- Riot Pixels

By sacrificing player’s freedom in favor of questionable game design concepts, the developers failed to flesh out the intriguing world, characters and plot of Lamplight City. I expected a much better result from the makers of Shardlight.- Riot Pixels

If you don’t mind the game’s somewhat clunky role-playing system, you will enjoy the humorous story that pokes fun at clichés found in JRPGs, other video games and pop culture in general.- Riot Pixels

Pretty visuals do more harm than good to Layers of Fear. The game looks like a sleek, smart, serious interactive experience, but in reality, it disappoints every step of the way.- Riot Pixels

The Last Federation in its current state would have been better off in Steam Early Access. Arcen Games continues to improve it after the release, but the idea of indirect control in a space strategy game sounds more fun than it actually is.- Riot Pixels

Despite somewhat boring combat, Yaga is a fun romp through the vibrant world of Russian folklore thanks to the witty dialogue, zany gameplay mechanics (how about sparing a boss and then summoning him to help you?), colorful characters and tons of randomized events.- Riot Pixels

UnderRail manages to capture the spirit of the original Fallout even despite its abhorrent UI, heavy focus on combat, unforgiving character development system, and the final chapter which is basically a guide on how not to design a role-playing game.- Riot Pixels
