It's definitely a much tighter playing game than last year's version, albeit with room for more improvements to be made. If we could get a revamped ProStick, in addition to slightly tuned face-off mechanics, among other quirks, the next NHL 2K game could seriously go down as one of the best NHL games ever.- PSX Extreme

Team 17 has crafted yet another entry into this fine franchise, and the overall results are nothing short of solid. Worms is a highly simplistic, yet very addictive and engaging strategy game that is sure to have you coming back to it very, frequently.- PSX Extreme

Once you've got the controls down, you'll find an enjoyable action game out of Lair. For the most part, the game is visually appealing and striking in most cases, but it's not without its faults.- PSX Extreme

You're getting a timeless classic with a great variety of new modes, and on top of that online gameplay. Moreover, its colors and vibrancy are visually stunning to behold. Add that all up, and you should be thankful that Capcom didn't charge more for the game. Because even if they did, it'd still be worth it. Puzzle Fighter is just that damn great.- PSX Extreme

With the amount of chaos the game throws at you, the options, and the diversity in gameplay, this one's a no-brainer. Warhawk is simply the s**t - and I highly suggest you ignore any naysayer who says otherwise.- PSX Extreme

The game has, arguably, the largest scope available on the PSP with anywhere between 50-80 hours of gameplay. This is a huge game and fans of the original will probably eat this up and beg for more.- PSX Extreme

There's a lot of genuinely amusing character interaction, but the adolescent teasing and mock anger routines get old quickly, and they simply didn't put enough effort into most dungeons.- PSX Extreme

The physics are excellent as always, it's the best-looking entry yet, the options are insane, and most importantly, definitely appeals to just about any golf fan. It's got everything you could want and even a little more, even if the execution of the enhancements isn't always spot-on.- PSX Extreme

Metropolismania 2 is an often-charming and well put-together simulation, but the severe lack of depth, virtually non-existent technical appeal, exaggerated simplicity of the building process, and generally boring (and even tediously repetitive) structure kills any chance the game may have had.- PSX Extreme

Jeanne D'Arc is a huge breath of fresh air for those looking for a kick-ass S-RPG game. This isn't just an S-RPG you can play to tide yourself until Final Fantasy Tactics hits, but this is an S-RPG you can put alongside FFT and hold it up as a standard for others to follow.- PSX Extreme

So in the end, there are plenty of great games out there, and without any doubt, this definitely isn't one of them.- PSX Extreme

But the story really does take too long to unfold, the battle environment is far too repetitive and often boring, you don't have as much control as you would like (only controlling one character isn't much fun), the soundtrack gets ridiculously repetitive at times, and there's no actual world map you can physically explore.- PSX Extreme

Might be worth the budget price tag if - repeat, if - you're a fan of the sport. It's simply not an accomplished enough title to be worth it for anyone else; there are just too many shortcomings, here.- PSX Extreme

An okay effort, but it's hampered by average technicals, insane repetitiveness, outrageously frustrating preparation, and only fleeting moments of fun.- PSX Extreme

The control is borderline horrendous, the graphics are very disappointing, The Chase - while deep and rewarding - isn't implemented very well, and besides the numerous pit and mechanical options, there's a surprising lack of car customization features.- PSX Extreme

The gameplay itself holds up strong throughout any mode, despite the delayed controls and sudden difficulty spike, and playing with a friend is usually good fun. In the end, though, we had hoped to see a little more in Rugby 08 that would distinguish it from 06; something concrete that goes beyond cosmetic upgrades.- PSX Extreme

It's a visually stunning game running at a superb framerate, with super tight action. While the camera can be a nuisance sometimes and the English voice acting isn't fantastic, the sum of Sigma's parts add up to an experience that no action gamer should be without.- PSX Extreme

The single-player campaign is both challenging and satisfying, the online multiplayer is fast and furious (fans of Resistance: Fall of Man should give it a try, even though it's slightly more sensitive due to its pseudo-sim nature), and it looks and sounds exactly the way it should.- PSX Extreme

We were a touch disappointed the sound didn't impress as much as the graphics, and the solid strategy formula tends to flounder in identical environments, but that can't stop it from being extremely entertaining.- PSX Extreme

For all its drawbacks and shortcomings, this title makes good on its initial promise - seen right at the start - to deliver a unique and beautifully paced action quest. If only they would've built on the superb foundation just a bit more.- PSX Extreme

Just as unique and potentially engrossing as its predecessor, Disaster Report. Unfortunately, we have to say "potentially" because several glaring flaws continually bog down the game, not the least of which are those hopelessly lackluster technicals (the graphics and sound are both major drawbacks).- PSX Extreme
