Alone in the Dark is ambitious, but it trips, stumbles, and…well, breaks. It’s a bad PS2 game and we can’t imagine it would get that much better on the PS3.

Thanks to Koei making some key enhancements, the controls have now been fixed up considerably, erasing much of the game's previous faults.

There is no doubt about it, but this is easily the best experience you'll have on the PlayStation 3 to date, simply nothing comes close to MGS4's presentation, story-telling, gameplay, visuals, and sound. The amount of classic homages paid to the previous games, with one in particular, will leave you breathless and, perhaps, emotional.

NASCAR 09 may not be an extremely pretty game to look at, but it's certainly not ugly. What it lacks in eye-candy, it makes up for a solid NASCAR experience that enthusiasts of the sport should really enjoy.

Perhaps the best Dragon Ball Z videogame to date. Even though the online mode may be thin, there isn't much else beyond the single-player experience, there's still a solid foundation here for future games to come.

Slow, and stupid. Fielders will inexplicably hold onto the ball before moving to throw it, which in turn causes a whole lot of infield hits.

The bottom line is that Commando 3 is worth the $10. It may not be extremely epic or infinitely replayable, but it's certainly fun enough that you'll likely keep coming back to time and time again.

In the end, The Bourne Conspiracy hits just a few rings away from the bulls-eye. It’s not quite as polished as we would’ve hoped, and we wanted better visuals and a bit more variety in the gameplay, but we still had a lot of fun playing it.

A solid racing game from Codemasters - certainly my favorite from them, to date. But in order to enjoy it, you will have to endure a rather steep curve in familiarizing yourself with the touchy controls.

It looks and sounds good, it flows well, it has enough variety so it’s not too repetitive, and anybody can pick it up and play, even though there is a decent amount of depth.

Yeah, the game can be more frustrating than we would’ve liked, and the control is just a touch less solid than it has been in recent LEGO entries, but LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures still fits the bill.

And with the lack of a story and a bunch of random objectives that dont mean a damn thing, moving through the single-player campaign is, sadly, a waste of time.

Euro 2008 is yet another superb soccer game from EA Sports. It picks up where FIFA 08 left off, and adds improvements to the overall experience.

I'm a sucker for puzzle games, and there's no doubt that Echochrome is easily one of the best I've ever played.

You may think you're simply not a GTA fan. You didn't like the other games; they're just not your style. Well, we don't want to tell you what your personal preferences should be, but GTAIV is one of the best games ever made. Ever. Nothing is perfect, but this is about as close as you can get to virtual perfection when you look at the entire package.

Arcana Heart is a solid 2D fighter with a unique style that sets it apart from any other fighter you may have played. The controls can be a little iffy at times, but theres a good amount of depth involved in the battles even beyond the Arcana addition.

We have to give Crave props for trying to break the monotony by letting us create our own character and customize our own pad, and we do appreciate the different play areas, but this just doesn’t work as a video game.

The control is fine, the gameplay as a whole is fine, the characters and atmosphere are acceptable and even amusing, and Gust does hit the correct note when it comes to presentation. But the Academy aspect of the game drags big time, the voice acting and graphics are sub-par, and although the Alchemy is involving, the overall depth isn’t as intricate as you might believe.

It plays like a dream, blurring the lines between both genres that it covers much more than any other game. And it looks the part too, as it is easily the best looking handheld game you'll see to date, along with God of War.

Monolith has once again proved that they are quite capable of developing fear-based first person shooters. I found a number of problems with the game that will frustrate most FPS fans, such as the often clunky hand-combat controls.
