If you give it a chance, SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada is an interesting game. It will still be a repetitive game, but it ends up becoming addictive. Its unique world and the desire to discover more about it can make up for the high grind and frustration - especially at the beginning - of losing everything because you were too ambitious.

Even though it's short, Tiny Terry's Turbo Trip manages to be remarkable with its clueless humor, compact and well-used open world and, mainly, for the construction of a universe endowed with lightness, interesting characters and a good dose of silliness so precious especially in these times when everything is taken too seriously.

Playing Afterlove EP brings the same feeling as reading a slice of life manga on a rainy afternoon to the sound of good lo-fi. Its gameplay is simple, but it brings a narrative surrounded by moments of reflection. Its visual novel vein increases the replay factor and makes us want to try different routes not only to see the ending but also to follow Rama's journey in a process of healing and starting over.

As a rescue and preservation of less popular games from a very important developer, Accolade Sports Collection is a beautiful piece of history. However, the set of productions gathered here is not very appealing in practice, even considering the notably niche sports genre. Balancing qualities and limitations, it's a package that simply fails to be fun.

The Stone of Madness has a unique setting, strategic mechanics, and engaging narrative. The combination of stealth, sanity management, and different narrative paths ensures a rich and challenging experience. Its artistic style is impressive as well. However, the high difficulty, especially at night, can make it frustrating for some players.

Daybreak 2 is an uneven Trails. The battle systems and those related to gameplay have improved considerably, but the main story ended up being its weak point. It is a title that partially meets expectations and still remains a good game, despite being a series known for having high-level games. Hopefully the next game will deliver on all the potential that the current arc has built up so far.

Botany Manor uses the historical context of a Victorian female scholar to build an ingenious exploration puzzle game, delivering the satisfaction of solving riddles while illustrating a clever historical insight represented by the protagonist's overlooked intellectual life. Both narrative and gameplay are bounded together in our minds by their clues and fragments, making this game a beautiful and worthy whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

The cohesive sum of its parts makes this work a greater whole, one that is memorable and necessary for our times.
