With its unique approach to the 2D platform genre and an enjoyable story told in long dialogues, Aureole: Wings of Hope is a great surprise that gives us the tools to balance high speed and meticulous movements when throwing a halo both in search of secrets and in the race against the clock.

In my experience, I started Deliver At All Costs without many expectations and was delighted by the creativity of the gameplay and intrigued by the context and story.

With a lot of charm in its cartoonish parody of crime stories, Duck Detective: The Secret Salami makes the pleasant surprise of shaping a seemingly banal premise into a story that has much more than we can see at first glance. The simple mechanics of searching for clues to fill in gaps of deductions are superficial, but require reasoning to reach conclusions and the brevity of this tale prevents its pace from becoming boring and repetitive.

As a sequel, Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping repeats the dose of its predecessor, which means both that all the charm, enigmas and surprises are present, with deeper plot twists than it might seem at first glance, and that there is no innovation.

Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny is a very welcome remaster of a great PS2 title that arrives on current platforms with much-needed improvements. Although it still retains some minor issues, fans of adventure and samurai games have a lot of joy in this important piece of Capcom's catalog.

Overcoming an uninteresting and confusing beginning to the game, as well as flawed level design at times, can be a big challenge here. In any case, there is a lot of interesting stuff in Blades of Fire and an originality that needs to be highlighted in the combat and weapon creation system, even though the game is otherwise heavily inspired by other works.

The Precinct may not live up to the expectations of those who expect the madness of classic GTA from the point of view of the cops, nor of those who believe it to be just a bureaucratic simulator of police life. Post Trauma tries to bring back the horror of the 90s in a mix with the current. However, the way it was done made the game generic and without identity. Although it is not terrible, it is not worth the investment.

Light, fun and nonsense, Revenge of the Savage Planet recaptures all the colorful exuberance of the visuals seen in the previous game, bringing it to full power. At the same time, it maintains the acid tone about corporatism in a three-dimensional metroidvania progression model, delivering a balanced, agile and practical gameplay system.

DOOM: The Dark Ages manages to innovate in a positive way the solid gameplay of its predecessors. The shield mechanics are very good, giving the combat a new feel. The parts with Serrat (dragon) and Atlan (mecha) are quite fun, despite being few. The campaign has a reasonable story and its length is just right, but the collectibles and secrets are easier to discover in general. In the end, DOOM: The Dark Ages is worth playing, despite not offering any other content besides the campaign itself.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree has minor bugs that go completely unnoticed in the final work. Beautiful graphics, fluid gameplay, and plenty of extra content make Mandragora one of the best soulslike action RPGs out there.

Two Falls: Nishu Takuatshina is a delicate first-person narrative experience shaped by our perception of the world through two contrasting, but not necessarily antagonistic, perspectives. The game could have made bolder choices in both the languages used and the visual presentation, but it is worth experiencing in its entirety.

Still flawed and even with some wasted opportunities, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is an excellent opportunity for old fans to enjoy the game in the best possible way and serves as a great first step for newcomers.

Missing the opportunity of bringing a new chapter to the series, Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate is a basic revisiting of a competent beat 'em up.

With new fun and challenging modes, Days Gone Remastered brings technical and aesthetic refinements that, although subtle, adapt Deacon's journey to the current generation, thus giving it an opportunity to reach its full latent potential. Without reinventing the Drifter's two wheels and adding quality of life to the game with new options, it is certainly the opportunity to rediscover (or discover for the first time) this beautiful work underestimated by time.

Although the game's AI remains lacking, MotoGP 25 shows significant improvements due to the updated graphics engine. In addition, it provides precise and adaptive gameplay for different skill levels, incredible visuals (if we don't count the strangeness of the human models) and game modes that are not very inventive, but very well optimized for what the game proposes.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is an excellent tribute to the franchise and also the best product the series has received since its original trilogy. With gameplay focused on exploration and melee combat, and an engaging narrative, the title is a must-play for both fans of the legendary archaeologist and enthusiasts of the adventure genre.

Masterful in artistic and narrative aspects and with an impeccable soundtrack, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of the best surprises of the year and stands out positively in a market that has started to charge too much for experiences that don't deliver what they should.

Even though it maintains some of the original's inconsistencies, Amerzone - The Explorer's Legacy proves to be a remake that knows how to appropriate updated aesthetic and gameplay concepts very well without losing the essence of an old-school point-and-click experience, valuing its great investigative narrative that certainly deserves a new chance to shine.

Steel Seed is a remarkable experience, with an engaging protagonist, an impactful setting and versatile gameplay that invites experimentation. The combination of action, stealth and exploration is well executed, and the world-building and emotional narrative easily engage the player. However, technical issues such as occasional bugs and excessive darkness in important parts of the game compromise the immersion and fluidity of the experience, preventing the title from reaching an even higher level. Despite this, the overall work is solid and deserves to be highlighted, especially for those who value games with a strong narrative appeal and dense atmospheres.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves masterfully revives a classic SNK series. The gameplay is varied and fun, for both casual and hardcore audiences. The single-player content is very good with different modes. The game's only flaws are its unnecessarily confusing interface and the online with many matchmaking issues.

With a completely revamped look, design improvements, gameplay features, and an entirely new chapter in the story, The Talos Principle: Reawakened is a robust and well-made return to a ten-year-old game that was already notable for its mix of good puzzles and humanist philosophy.

The change of engine in Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game will bring, in the medium and long term, the necessary benefits to a franchise that was clearly stagnating. But the current version of the game still relies on its old qualities in gameplay, while suffering from the same limitations in both the visual presentation and the conservatism of the game modes.

LUNAR Remastered Collection offers two classic JRPGs from PS1 with improved anime scenes and some quality-of-life options that, while discreet, are gladly welcome. The visuals have received only minimal, almost imperceptible touch-ups, but both games remain adventures that stand out for their naive and charismatic heroism, typical of their times. These are two games that find their strength in the honest and engaging simplicity of saving a beautiful fantasy world with sword and magic.
