Outlaws is a fantastic adventure worthy of the Star Wars universe. Competent in several areas and shaking up Ubisoft's open-world formula for its games, Kay Vess's adventure is fun and interesting from start to finish, filled with unique details from an incredible universe.

DOOM + DOOM II is a complete package, offering the definitive experience of both timeless classics. But overall, it's still the same games we've known for over 30 years, with a few extra campaigns.

Phantom Spark is a great time trial racing game for those that strives for perfection, using precise controls and well-designed tracks to challenge the most dedicated players. However, with few game modes, uninspired multiplayer and artistic minimalism, it does little for those looking for something other than constant repetition in search of the impossible thousandth.

Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery maintains the series' relaxation and fun. If it were a DLC instead of a standalone game, it would make HTT2 a whole greater than the sum of its parts to build on everything we've seen in Myths & Magic's Architect mode and the community's online creations. As a standalone game, however, it's odd to see the sequence separated into two isolated parts that, even though they are good enough by themselves, they divide forces rather than joining them together.

With improved visuals and subtle gameplay changes, Cat Quest III maintains the series' strengths and improves on almost everything except the narrative. It's a solo or co-op pirate adventure that's just the right size and also isn't afraid to be cute, silly, and funny, guaranteeing fun for those who like the series and inviting for newcomers.

Thank Goodness You're Here! is a charming game with a fun aesthetic and approach, but the lack of a map and short length may limit the experience for some people. The title has a unique style and elements of humor, and because it is light and unusual, it delivers good times to players looking for entertainment. There are areas, however, that could be improved for a more satisfying and lasting experience.

For those who like to be challenged to get better and better and are obsessed with cyberpunk themes, Eden Genesis is sure to please. Fast-paced, provocative and demanding, it may be too harsh for those expecting just another conventional platform game, but it's very rewarding for those who take it on board.

MARS 2120 has potential to become a good game and succeeds in terms of visuals and the versatile tools, but execution problems and a premature launch prevent it from, in its current state, reaching the average in a genre as prolific as the metroidvania is nowadays.

Closer the Distance is a good narrative game that simulates themes from our daily lives through a heavy emotional component, in addition to a somewhat confusing character management system that can result in the loss of important moments in the story.

SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos is a game with many problems when it was originally released in the past, but it is still an important piece of SNK and Capcom history. The re-release features quality of life additions such as online with rollback netcode. In the end, however, it is worth more for the curiosity of those who do not know it or for those who want to remember it.

A few minor slips in level design, instability between aerial and ground movements, and the stiff interface of Frontier Hunter: Erza's Wheel of Fortune do not overshadow this beautiful 2.5D metroidvania sidescroller. Asphalt Legends Unite is likely to be underrated due to its mobile heritage and free-to-play monetization format. But those who give it a chance will find a visually polished game with mechanics that shine in their straightforward simplicity, as well as an old-school style that has been lacking in the mainstream market.

Fate Seeker II is a game that takes you to the wuxia universe with a good premise, but ends up being overshadowed by performance issues, narrative pacing and boring exploration. Despite being a single-player title, the game follows a structure similar of a MMORPG and with mechanics that, despite being interesting, tend to tire or even frustrate the player.

Aware of its disdain for narrative, Bloodhound is everything that fans of a good boomer shooter could hope for, but it doesn't go much further than that. With some constraints and controversial design choices, the game feels like it hasn't reached its peak, which doesn't override the solidity of its extremely objective mechanics.

Good combat is what stands out most in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn by A44 Games. Even though the universe is interesting to learn more about and has a decent exploration system, there are specific problems that prevent the game from standing out even more.

Darkest Dungeon II is quite different from the first and everyone should be aware of this. It's a game that brings great new ideas, although followed by a very frustrating "artificial limitation". The affinity system, the brutal and complex combat system, in addition to the better development of the narrative are positive aspects that justify the investment in this universe. However, it's a shame that you have to spend a lot of time unlocking new features to see its full potential.
