Trinity Trigger is a short RPG, visually beautiful, with a cool proposal, but it is not thrilling. It's a title that can be exciting at first, but it starts to get repetitive and doesn't do enough to keep it going until the end.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a great sequel. The story is very good (especially in the final parts) and there is a lot of optional content. The gameplay remains excellent and with many new features. The technical part, however, needs adjustments.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story is a great production derived from the franchise full of good hits. As an action RPG, it's dynamic, fast and has a lot of style, even if it suffers from a not always inspired story and a certain aesthetic pollution. The combat diversity guarantee high fun from beginning to end of the campaign.

Punctual, even if not perfect, the Sunbreak expansion brings good improvements and excellent content to Monster Hunter Rise. Although much is gameplay updates and more quality of life for the game, there are enough new features to hook the player and guarantee more dozens of hours invested.

Afterimage has all the elements of a great metroidvania. More than that, it's also a game with excellent graphics and setting, which undoubtedly makes it one of the best games recently released in the genre.

A Light in the Dark is a game that illustrates, in a secluded space and in a specific situation, the great conflict between wealth and poverty, and how this conflict has direct consequences in the lives of its characters.

Mato Anomalies is a good game that fails for trying to include, unnecessarily, too many elements in its formula. Despite this, its good characters and interesting plot manage to sustain it for its entire duration and the combat brings enough new elements to remain challenging.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is a great expansion, adding even more content to one of the best games of 2022. The graphics are amazing and there's a relatively large area to explore with tons of optional content. The main story, however, is short.

Redemption Reapers is a good tactical RPG and borrows many of the genre's best and most solid mechanics, as well as taking us on a dark journey through an ancient world ravaged by doom and hopelessness. However, the narrative fails to truly engage us, the visuals betray themselves and only the soundtrack is saved from any disappointments. It still works well, but it offers little, for novices and veterans alike.

Disney Speedstorm establishes a very interesting, fun and promising structural base. If it is not a revolution in the genre, it knows how to rely on the rich universe of Mickey's house IPs and does so in a pleasant, immersive and seductive way, leaving to be seen whether, in the near future, the business model adopted here will be adequate (or not) for the platform and audience to which it is dedicated.

Dead Island 2 overcame years of development problems to deliver a fun zombie story with some personality. It doesn't try to go much beyond the basics, but it does it honestly and competently, with good hints of humor and a great co-op experience.

FLASHOUT 3 is a good racing game, its mechanics are well executed and the challenging AI keeps players engaged so they are always trying to master the tracks and upgrade their ships. Its smaller scope may make the title seem average at first glance, but fans of the genre can find some good hours of fun.

Forgotten at the bottom of the trunk, Cannon Dancer Osman is a piece of history brought back to new platforms for the first time. The visuals will please pixel art connoisseurs and the intense gameplay is simple and fun as an arcade title should be. The many quality of life improvement options are welcome and even allow you to configure slightly different ways to play, but this help can end up making the enjoyment even shorter than it actually is. In the end, it's a game recommended for the nostalgic, the curious and those who intend to play a very brief campaign over and over again, improving their technique with each quick attempt to reach the end.

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection is a great collection of a series of good games that present players with a unique, fun and challenging combat system, as well as a story that is very different from what the series usually offers. Whether you are a longtime fan or a curious newcomer, this package has a lot to offer.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened has dynamic gameplay and the dark story leaves no loose ends in its conclusion. It's a smart game (as expected) and transforms its predecessor's open-world experience into something more linear and succinct. Some might see this as a positive thing, while others might be left with the impression that there's something missing compared to the previous title. Either way, it's clear that Frogwares has masterfully remade a game that was already successful at its time, taking it to another level - and this needs to be recognized.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution is an incredibly immersive and rich post-apocalyptic experience. However, its high degree of realism is exactly one of its negative points. Another problem is that it’s basically mandatory to play its predecessor. The summary presented is not enough to understand everything that happened and make you care about the characters.

The Library of Babel has great graphic design and setting, but don't expect much more than that. Unless you're one of those players who likes to suffer from tight platforming sessions and a confusing item management system, it's better to avoid it.

EA Sports PGA Tour is an excellent and challenging golf game that manages to capture everything that the player wants from a title of the genre. Its gameplay is excellent and the career and challenge modes work exactly as they should, with the package being further enriched by the good online modes and the beautiful graphics of the title.

The prequel to Road 96 introduced substantial gameplay changes, but not everything was for the better. The music rhythm challenges are decent and fun for the most part. However, the game lacks in its adventure format, especially due to the poor narrative and shallow characters.

With a story full of twists and social criticism alongside charismatic and interesting characters, Melon Journey: Bittersweet Memories is an excellent adventure that awakens our nostalgia with its pixel art graphics and jazz lo-fi soundtrack. The lack of a portuguese localization may alienate some players, but even so, this indie remains one of the pleasant surprises of the year.

Curse of the Sea Rats is above all a very fun game, easily recommended to be played alone or with friends. Half literature, half RPG, Citizen Sleeper successfully unites its many facets to create inventive and thoughtful science fiction. Deep human issues are addressed in several sweet and melancholy subplots that weave together to form a life that is up to you to manage however you can. The paths do not lead to opposite roads, but it is up to whoever holds the controller to decide which trails to follow and which stories will have their attention and their dice rolls to build their uncertain daily life. Keep in mind that reading English well is essential for everything Citizen Sleeper has to offer.

With a story full of twists, an audacious writing that makes us question the character's actions, a spectacular art direction along with a dark and mysterious soundtrack, Saga of Sins turns out to be a good action and platform title. Its multiple endings are interesting and somewhat rewarding, but some of them leave to be desired.
