Technically flawless and visually stunning, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is an exceptional sequel and a clear evolution for a game that was already full of qualities. An even more engaging story with an improved narrative, as well as huge advances in its unique gameplay, are just some of the highlights of one of the best games of the year.

The visual part shows that the Dragon Engine still has a lot to offer and exploring Honolulu is not only fun, but also rewarding. All of this is surrounded by one of the best soundtracks in the franchise. Its big problem is the replay factor, since the New Game+ campaign is paid. A spectacular game that brings dozens of new features, but without forgetting to give a warm hug to longtime fans.

Resident Evil Requiem is an excellent game, taking the best elements from the Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes. The gameplay is great, the graphics are superb, and the atmosphere is outstanding. The only downsides are the bittersweet story and the lack of extra modes.

Although it faces some issues with the sheer number of group management sections and story cutscenes, the entertaining way Dispatch narrates the rise and overcoming of differences by a team of unlikely heroes makes it one of the best products of the genre in recent years.

Alan Wake 2 is the result of all the experience that Remedy has accumulated over the last ten years. Surreal, scary and simply excellent, it's an experience that will live in my head for years to come.

The total lack of explanation may deter some of the public, but anyone willing to see the bottom of the iceberg, or rather, of the well, will have a lot to enjoy in this surrealist metroidvania

Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles is an excellent remaster of one of the best and most influential JRPGs of all time. Despite the fact that some content from previous versions is missing, everything important is here, making this the best way to experience a game that is a must-have for every fan of the genre.

Horizon Forbidden West is a masterpiece. The foundation that Horizon Zero Dawn has laid is improved in every way, whether it's gameplay or story. We have amazing graphics, charismatic characters, an intriguing plot and an addictive, varied and challenging gameplay.

With engaging gameplay and a progression system that constantly rewards players' efforts and planning, BALL x PIT shows that seemingly unlikely ideas can be transformed into excellent products when well executed.
