Dead Space marks the triumphant return of a franchise that didn't deserve the end it had years ago. Revamped visuals, improved level design, interesting new features, perfect use of sound and lighting techniques, along with the same sense of space horror as before - all of this delivers one of the best survival horror ever.

Technically flawless and visually stunning, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is an exceptional sequel and a clear evolution for a game that was already full of qualities. An even more engaging story with an improved narrative, as well as huge advances in its unique gameplay, are just some of the highlights of one of the best games of the year.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is one of RGG's most ambitious titles. The union of the two dragons brings a mature plot, full of intrigue, with fun and exciting moments, but also a strong criticism of our society. The improvements in combat and the occupation system make the gameplay even more refined and with the possibility of new strategies. The visual part shows that the Dragon Engine still has a lot to offer and exploring Honolulu is not only fun, but also rewarding. All of this is surrounded by one of the best soundtracks in the franchise. Its big problem is the replay factor, since the New Game+ campaign is paid. A spectacular game that brings dozens of new features, but without forgetting to give a warm hug to longtime fans.

Resident Evil Requiem is an excellent game, taking the best elements from the Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes. The gameplay is great, the graphics are superb, and the atmosphere is outstanding. The only downsides are the bittersweet story and the lack of extra modes.

Although it faces some issues with the sheer number of group management sections and story cutscenes, the entertaining way Dispatch narrates the rise and overcoming of differences by a team of unlikely heroes makes it one of the best products of the genre in recent years.

Ghost of Tsushima arrives on PCs with good graphic quality, performance and an experience that is almost excellent. If it weren't for some small technical issues, this would be the most solid port Nixxes has ever delivered.

Although it doesn't bring as many new features as one might expect from a remake, The Last of Us Part I is an absolute and sublime spectacle from start to finish. It retains all the best qualities that made it aN absolute success in its original release and it improves on the technical details that add value to this visceral and impactful journey.

Punctual, even if not perfect, the Sunbreak expansion brings good improvements and excellent content to Monster Hunter Rise. Although much is gameplay updates and more quality of life for the game, there are enough new features to hook the player and guarantee more dozens of hours invested.

Animal Well is stunning and mysterious, a visual delight that offers open-ended and stimulating exploration. The total lack of explanation may deter some of the public, but anyone willing to see the bottom of the iceberg, or rather, of the well, will have a lot to enjoy in this surrealist metroidvania

Separate Ways is a great expansion, bringing an additional campaign to one of the best titles of 2023. In addition to completely reinventing the mode from the PS2 era, the DLC brings new features to the gameplay and manages to deliver a complete package when we take the base game into account.

Persona 3 Reload is an imperfect remake in which, although the lack of content from previous expanded versions is annoying, its new features and the necessary (and very well executed) reformulation of combat make this the best way to play the best narrative that series already had in a package with a great localization to PT-BR.

Saros masterfully delivers on everything it sets out to do. Although the game doesn't yet have any extra content to enjoy after the ending, it manages to entertain the player for a long time simply through the curiosity of testing all types of weapons and searching for audio recordings of past crews. Saros is the kind of homework a student is proud to show to the teacher.

With well-crafted writing, engaging and dynamic battles and luxurious pixel art embellished by vivid lighting, Sea of Stars nails the test of being a turn-based RPG that's both retro and modern. We can still notice some small outdated legacies of the genre, but that doesn't affect the pleasure of embarking as young heroes to save the world in an epic and witty campaign worthy of the new old days.
