By uniting great systems of side-scrolling, turn-based combat and generous touches of a good RPG in the best pixel art style, Monster Sanctuary is a beautiful example that a mixture of several known things can result in something full of identity, charisma and enchantment. And with an expansion of respect, it shows that it is far from exhausting itself.

Them's Fightin' Herds is an excellent fighting game that definitely deserves respect for its high audiovisual quality and solid gameplay, both online and offline. Not even the modest cast and uneven pace of the story mode detract from the fun and well-rounded experience of a game that exudes care and competence.

Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story is the definitive celebration of the legacy developed by Jeff Minter, delivering unique stories and concepts about game development. It's a beautiful look behind the scenes, creativity and context of old games, which move through time, returning to the present with a new and immersive look.

GRIME II succeeds greatly in expanding gameplay freedom, offering an extremely well-constructed world, and rewarding players who dedicate themselves to exploration and learning combat. The variety of approaches and intelligent level design significantly enhance the experience, but technical problems, such as persistent bugs, and some excesses — mainly in length and dialogue — prevent it from reaching an even higher level. Still, it's an ambitious and memorable sequel within the genre.

If you've never had the chance to play any game from the Ys series, it's time to give yourself a chance to do this. With many hours of duration, fun gameplay and dynamism thanks to its excellent performance, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana easily becomes one of the best action RPGs on the console.

Helldivers II came as a surprise and marks a significant moment in PlayStation Studios' console and PC releases. If it has the right support, it will be a game remembered and played for years to come.

A fresh take on a classic franchise, The Rogue Prince of Persia offers a solid and smooth roguelite experience. It won't be universally popular among players, but it has the potential to surprise those open to change.

Two Point Campus follows the successful formula of the studio's previous release, also offering a new and unique gaming experience. It could be the best business simulator for consoles to date.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has an amazing campaign, an extremely polished gameplay, and multiplayer modes that round out the package and give longevity to a game that will be played for a long time. It's easily one of my favorite titles in the franchise so far.

Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream is a masterpiece by Gust and the best game in the franchise so far. All elements work to perfection to deliver a rewarding experience. There's an amazing cast of characters, great story and the best combat, alchemy and exploration systems ever seen in the series.

In what it proposes, F1 23 is virtually perfect. Keeping the graphic strength and refinement of mechanics that worked well in the previous game, it brought back a narrative mode that, along with an interface overhaul and quality of life, only improves what was already amazing.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 faithfully follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, and even with some omissions and additions compared to the original material, it remains accurate, addictive, and extremely fun not only for longtime fans, but also for the next generation of virtual skaters.

NBA 2K26 is another great addition to the franchise. While its focus is on small improvements, such as tweaks to graphics and gameplay, it delivers an even better package than last year's.

PowerWash Simulator 2 could be described as "just a standard sequel", as it takes the first game as a basis and refines some of its aspects while adding a handful of new features. The target audience might be restricted, but the "ding" which confirms each objective has been fully cleaned is still as addictive and will sate your OCD.

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a fantastic game. The graphics are beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing, the gameplay is very good and the story is immersive and impactful. There are a few minor technical problems - which are far from ruining the experience - and, because it is a linear and plot-focused game, there's not much to do once you've finished the campaign.

This War of Mine: Final Cut is a great provocation for each of us regarding the effects and feelings that result from extreme situations such as a state of armed conflict. Technical improvements and supplemental content add to the base material, and even with some troubles in the gameplay, it remains impactful and, perhaps, even more necessary than ever.

EA Sports College Football 26 is a nice evolution of last year's already excellent title, adding even more quality to the gameplay and spectacle off the field to continue being one of the best sports titles today.

With a powerful narrative and subtle adjustments to the base game's quality of life, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is a beautiful complement to the original game, a good "more-of-the-same", bringing another region and especially a very interesting new class to further expand this fascinating universe.

Supported by the great new Storylines mode and the already incredibly solid foundation of previous years, MLB The Show 23 is another excellent sports simulator game from the masters of baseball. There were few changes, but the series keeps showing how much it understands the players' passion for the past, present and future of the sport and brings something capable of satisfying every fan.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds features fun, challenging gameplay, a diverse number of characters and tracks. There are also plenty of customization options. Multiplayer is the game's strong point, with a variety of modes both online and offline. However, the single-player content leaves something to be desired, becoming monotonous after a few hours. Furthermore, the Donpa Tickets grind is unnecessarily excessive.

Kill Knight is a fantastic arcade shooter that promises to captivate hardcore fans when it comes to competing for high scores. Although the title is not any kind of leader of a new wave of "Boomer Shooters", its fusion of gothic and retro art along with its frenetic combat are addictive combinations that will please anyone looking to learn a new action game.

Overall, Dragon Age: The Veilguard updates some of the franchise's most well-known systems, simplifying many of them in favor of a lighter tone and more straightforward narrative. While the art style and combat may divide audiences, the narrative suffers from inconsistencies, and the fluidity favors action over the strategy that is so characteristic of the franchise.

Just Dance 2026 Edition maintains the vibrant and fun essence that has made the franchise famous over the years, offering a solid selection of songs and choreography for all tastes, as well as significant technical improvements — such as the use of the smartphone camera as a full-body sensor. The return of Party Mode and creative partnerships reinforce Ubisoft's commitment to keeping the game relevant and inclusive. However, the lack of significant innovations can leave a feeling of repetition for veteran players. Even so, the game excels in its mission: providing accessible and energetic fun for those who love to dance.

The Thaumaturge is an excellent RPG with a well-written story, a fun strategic combat, and with an addictive capture and investigation system. With its large number of quests and options, you'll spend hours here without even noticing the time passing.

Still flawed and even with some wasted opportunities, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is an excellent opportunity for old fans to enjoy the game in the best possible way and serves as a great first step for newcomers.

Viewfinder is one of those games that deserves to be highlighted for its simplicity and execution of ideas. A game with a simple narrative and creative puzzles that keep getting more and more interesting. All of this is accompanied by a relaxing soundtrack and beautiful graphics, in addition, of course, to the friendly CAIT that makes our journey through Viewfinder even more pleasant.

Even better than last year, WWE 2K23 shows the rising return of the series, building on last year's already solid foundation. With an excellent Showcase mode, an even better MyRISE and many additions to MyGM, it is a must-have for wrestling fans and capable of providing players dozens of hours of fun.

Although it brings many of the elements that are so characteristic of other games based on the famous building blocks, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga offers good refinements in its mechanics, is visually spectacular and condenses well, even with some haste, the story of the nine main films of the movie franchise with a lot of charm and good humor.
