A game about being a king with king and human problems on his shoulders that you need to solve carefully, thoughtfully, and creatively while working with limited information.

Love and Deepspace is a gorgeous game with exquisite cutscenes and real-time combat, strewn together into an unapologetically romantic otome game. I personally felt a bit disconnected from the characters because of some awkward story beats, but if you're not one to make a fuss out of narratives, this guilty-pleasure game is the perfect way to ramp up those warm and fuzzy feelings on a cold and rainy night.

The Longing is an idle-slash-point-and-click game that ideally takes 400 days in real time to finish. You can speed things up by triggering certain events in a little over a month, but the deliberately slow pace offers plenty of room for interesting discoveries about the meaning of life in a profound but unpretentious way. Play the game if you've got the time to spare, or if you simply need to be reminded of the lost art of patience in this fast-paced world we live in today.

Money Heist: Ultimate Choice offers an intriguing narrative that's affected by your choices. However, the unchallenging mini-games and Netflix's choice not to release all chapters upon launch bring down what is otherwise a fun experience.

Netflix San Andreas is an okay port of a great game. While it shines in the graphics department, the poor controls bring the game down.

Despite the game's relatively short playtime, there was an abundance of evidence to back up that yes, Little Nightmares is perfect on mobile. In fact, I would go as far as to say I can’t imagine it being better on consoles. The intimacy of the experience that mobile brings to Six’s monolithic struggles amplifies the experience, and if you were a fan the first time you played, or have any interest in experiencing this indie darling, you should definitely download this fantastic port.

Reverse: 1999 is a visually stunning gacha RPG where you'll rage against the backward flow of time. Characters are unique and incredibly well-voiced, but the writing can be a little awkward and pretty lacklustre. Combat is a fun test of your strategic prowess though, so if you're looking for a mobile gacha game where you can play a more active role in controlling your party, then you might want to give this game a go.

Par for the Dungeon is an incredibly fun time, and for the most part manages to find the right balance of challenge to frustration. There are a few levels that feel a little unfair about the exact angle you need to hit a wall, and the monetization is a bit iffy, but you can overlook that pretty easily when stacked against what a great time you will have. Besides, if you don’t, who will help Cal save Cerby?

Coromon is a worthy addition to the monster-catching genre, however, there is no getting away from the fact that TRAGsoft has dumbed down the standard gameplay a bit with its free-SP recovery and Potential system. You can ignore a lot of these, but some people will be turned off by this visage of ease. I loved these changes and found the game quite good fun with its delightfully retro design, and given that you can play up to the third town for free, what have you got to lose?

Warcraft Rumble is a strategic "tower offence" game where you deploy miniatures via cards across short real-time battles. Familiar faces from the franchise pop up with a variety of abilities you can get tactical with, but it does start to get grindy fairly early on. You can engage in some PvE missions though to level up before you take on others, so it's worth giving it a shot if you're looking to add a new twist to your standard PvP affair.

A fun and dynamic card battler set in the ever-unique universe of Warhammer 40,000. But Warpforge doesn't offer much that's new to bring in sceptical fans or CCG enthusiasts. Yet it has a solid base to build on in future.

Iris and the Giant is a unique roguelite card battler with engaging gameplay mechanics and an incredibly memorable story. There's a great deal of replayability here with its many, many collectibles, but at the end of the day, it's simply a heartfelt lesson on compassion - and heaven knows we need more of that in this world today.

DERE Vengeance could have easily become just another standard platformer with its 2D style and straightforward controls, but it is so much more than that. After that second level, everything gets turned up to eleven. The puzzles are a fantastic challenge, the atmosphere keeps you in such suspense, and the story will keep your attention until the very end.

Endling - Extinction is Forever is a unique stealth game that raises the stakes using lovable cubs and a desperate mother fox across the dreary backdrop of the end of the world. It's a memorable narrative with effective mechanics, but it's not the ideal game to play on your mobile device. It's also best to go through it in short bursts rather than in long sessions to keep the repetitiveness at bay.

DC Heroes & Villains is a match-3 RPG with a unique story and accessible gameplay mechanics. The auto-play combat makes it a more casual experience rather than a strategic one, so it's not the most engaging game to get into if you're looking to challenge your brain. But it's a good time-waster if you're more of an idle player and a big DC fan.

Unpacking does a great job of engaging players with its simple mechanics and short but meaningful story. The mobile port may not be the best way to enjoy the title though, but if you can get past the clunky controls, it's bound to be a unique experience with a pretty feel-good ending to boot.

Lost in Play is an aptly titled point-and-click game that's wrapped nicely with gorgeous animations and a lovely story. The puzzles have just the right amount of difficulty without any dialogue, and the game is well-paced at just under 4 hours. It perfectly captures the beauty and wonder of imagination, and reminds us all that when you've got a childlike heart, anything is possible.
