Cat Quest III is an immersive swashbuckling RPG in which you sail the seas in your pirate ship, battle foes, and engage with quirky characters as you search for the North Star treasure.

As is traditional for the franchise, it’s actually pretty tough once you get going, its cartoon-style good looks belying serious difficulty, even if it never quite manages to match the charm of the Puzzle Bobble games, which relied on a similar mechanic.

In fellow bridge maker, Poly Bridge 3, you could view the winning constructions of players on its leaderboard, which was a nice twist, but even without that Bridge Constructor Studio is a polished puzzle game with near endless scope for tinkering, as you try and complete each challenge with fewer and cheaper materials.

Pokemon Friends feels like a really well-thought-out puzzle game, with a lot of fantastic features to it! I do wish the game had a way to do more puzzles without paying and that the yarn made more sense to me, but overall, I have enjoyed getting my adorable Pokemon plushies.

Persona 5: The Phantom X offers an intriguing narrative and exciting combat. Unfortunately, the number of cutscenes severely outweighs the battles, marring what could have been an epic RPG.

At its heart, Etheria: Restart is a solid turn-based RPG, but unfortunately, it doesn’t do much to elevate itself above its competitors. As a result, the immediate main story lull just isn’t worth it. You will need to invest a ton of time right away just to play three short stages of the story, and then you’re right back to grinding the joyless side content. You will have to be dedicated to the long haul right off the bat.

Summoners War: Rush is an idle RPG featuring familiar faces from the popular Summoners War franchise, but in convenient portrait form. Everything can be automated in the main campaign, with a tower defence mode, you can also give it a go if you're looking for something more hands-on. I personally don't see how long it can hold my attention, but if the initial adrenaline rush is enough for you, then your mileage may vary.

Sunset Hills is a cosy point-and-click adventure game that has a lot of charm to it. I do wish that the game itself were a bit clearer, but overall, it's a good adventure!

Visually, Primrows is so much better to look at than a bunch of numbers on the grid. I do like the journal and the way that every single match can be turned into points in some way. It feels delightful, slow, and fun.

Crashlands 2 takes what the original Crashlands had and adds a few shiner layers to it with a new look, tweaked mechanics, and a harsh but exciting world that will take a lot of time to experience.

Gordian Quest is one that RPG & Roguelike fans will find incredibly hard to pull away from; however, slight UI concerns and deep gameplay will make this a hard one for many to get to grips with. Wonderfully complex, its biggest sin is doing too much at once.

If you're looking for something to sink hundreds of hours into, something with solid story and sublime strategy then you won't go wrong here. It's almost faultless, and might well lead us into an era of quality strategy RPGs on mobile.

Your House sets itself apart from other point-and-click adventures with its interactive text-based approach to puzzles and its beautiful artwork. Some of the brainteasers can be ragequit-inducing despite the Hint system, but if you're looking for a different kind of challenge when pointing and clicking, then your mileage may vary.

Avatar Legends: Realms Collide is a fan-service 4X strategy where the worlds of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra collide. It probably won't be appealing to non-fans of the franchise - but given how huge the fanbase is, that might not necessarily be a bad thing.

I do like the general vibe of the game, but it feels like the story itself could be better intertwined within the levels. I also feel progression isn't as punchy, leaving a bit of repetition. Maybe I am just not very excited about coffee!

Expelled! is a quirky whodunit-esque adventure where every choice you make will determine your fate. The repetitive loop might get tiring at some point, but thankfully, the story is still compelling enough to make you want to go through it over and over again. Or, at the very least, you can take pleasure in watching your enemies take the fall - literally and figuratively.

Kardboard Kings is a charming card shop sim where you navigate the market's ups and downs while juggling customers' requests and your personal relationships. Universe For Sale is a gorgeous visual novel-slash-point-and-click adventure with fantastic world-building and superb writing. The lack of mobile-optimised touch controls makes the gameplay itself incredibly frustrating though, so come for the visuals and stay for the story - if you can manage to tap your way from one chapter to the next.
