Overall then iO is a decent puzzle game offering loads of content, it’s also cross buy with the Vita which is nice. It suffers from some proper hard difficulty spikes and relies a bit too much on trial and error, but at the end of the day it plays a decent puzzle game.- PlayStation Country

Flywrench is an excellent action-obstacle game. The game eases you in gently for a little too long before cranking the difficulty sky high which will put off some players but if you master the controls then you’re sure to relish the, eventual, challenge.- PlayStation Country

The best way I can describe Yakuza 0 is that it is a jack of all trades. None of the particular aspects of the game could be considered special in their own right. In a lot of cases the various aspects of the game shouldn’t even gel together. However, the mastery on show is just how well that Sega have managed to assemble all of these parts to make an excellent video game. It is a well realised drama, incredibly diverse and has plenty of fun things to do. You can’t ask for more than that really.- PlayStation Country

Clearly a mobile game Kitty Powers’ Matchmaker offers a fun, if throwaway diversion. The gameplay is serviceable, the presentation is bright and clear and it’s easy enough to play. Overall then the game is sort of ok, but nothing really more than that.- PlayStation Country

Dont be confused by the odd design choices and the lack of interaction. Knee Deep is a narrative driven game aiming to mimic a play, and despite some clunky animation and pacing issues it just about manages to bring the theatre to the PlayStation 4.- PlayStation Country

Kill the Bad Guy is a fun concept for a puzzle game but doesn’t fulfill its potential. Unreliable AI and physics make planning foolproof traps a matter of patience and trial and error which quickly becomes tedious.- PlayStation Country

Geki Yabba Runner is a perfectly serviceable runner for the Vita. It has over a hundred levels and offers a ridiculous level of difficulty too. It’s presented really well and offers a decent overall package. For a quick blast every now and again Geki Yabba Runner is a lot of fun.- PlayStation Country

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is not only a return to form for the storied franchise but a whole new beast in itself. It not only ups the ante in regards to scares but also plays the smart card as well. The game not only shows that Capcom still have what it takes, it also exceeds the expectations that were set by the impressive marketing campaign. If you are a survival horror fan, VR fan or both, then Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is essential.- PlayStation Country

As a positive, cautious first step with a beloved series, Double Dragon IV provides an enjoyable combat experience. The chosen art style undermines the game’s quality somewhat and the retro principles can lead to moments of frustration but I think this is worth your time. It’s unrefined and lacks bravery but it’s not bad.- PlayStation Country

Dexed is exactly the sort of game you'd expect at this stage of PSVR's development. An on-rails shooter with nods to Rez and Ikaruga where the VR gimmick carries the game. It's too short for sure, but we're suckers for its floaty charms.- PlayStation Country

Earthlock: Festival of Magic has some neat ideas of its own to add to those it borrows from its inspiration. Boss battles are a highlight but general dungeon exploring feels slow and laborious. The story and characters are also weak but there is some fun here, just not for everyone.- PlayStation Country

Spheroids never really rises above being average. It has ok presentation and offers some gentle platforming and shooting fun. It suffers from some technical issues, particularly on the Vita. Couple these technical issues with a lack of any kind of difficulty and the game is distinctly average.- PlayStation Country

Atelier Shallie Plus: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea changes the formula for the better but still hasn’t got the ingredients quite right. With the time limit gone the other elements have space to breathe but the story and characters are weak meaning the driving force is reliant on the gameplay which thankfully is varied and enjoyable.- PlayStation Country

Firefighters – The Simulation is a terrible game in every regard. Its laughable to call this game a simulation, in fact its laughable to call this a game. I experienced no enjoyment in playing this and I doubt anyone else would either.- PlayStation Country

As a first person puzzle game with a talkative AI character, The Turing Test proves that you can take the formula laid down by Portal and make it your own. This game offers a distinct and atmospheric story, and provides some well designed and challenging puzzles along the way.- PlayStation Country

Gravity Rush 2 is a tonne of fun to play, and falling through the air upside down is an image that is unique and memorable. However poor camera controls and bad stealth sections really spoil the fun.- PlayStation Country

As with Volume 1, this is a weighty compilation that packs in fifty titles from Atari’s past. The quality of many of the games is questionable but as a history lesson in ’80s gaming, this is worth a look. Even if many of the games will only be fired up once.- PlayStation Country

Pineview Drive has enjoyable moments encased in a repetitive structure that can hamper the tension the visuals and sound design attempt to build. The mansion’s intricate design becomes familiar and appreciable but the persistent grind of key hunting can start to dull what could’ve been a sharper experience.- PlayStation Country

Supermagical is one of the better casual titles on the Vita and will see you burning through your battery once it gets its hooks in. Playable, charming and powerfully addictive, this is well worth the tiny asking price.- PlayStation Country

Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek will appeal to more casual gamers, the low difficulty and simple controls make this easy to play. As a hidden object game this wont be for everyone, however it does what it does really well and it’s hard to knock it for that.- PlayStation Country

2064: Read Only Memories is a difficult game to recommend. Whilst the story being told is decent, the sheer quantity of text and somewhat overdone approach to sexuality distracts from the actual limited gameplay present. The art style and presentation of the game is also spectacularly retro, and whilst it stands out from the crowd its not going to be everyone’s cup of tea.- PlayStation Country

Through sheer weight of volume alone, Atari Flashback Classics Vol.1 creates some enjoyable gameplay moments even if the quality of games on offer is pretty low. As a games compilation this has limited value but as a history lesson it delivers a comprehensive look at the first generation of gaming.- PlayStation Country

Overall Fate/Extella is a decent game, the quick and extravagant combat gives the game lashings of style and visual flair. Unfortunately the lack of depth to the combat leads to repetition setting in and the story is definitely not for the uninitiated. This game fits well with the other musou games available for the PlayStation 4, and while it’s not the best one of the bunch it’s decent while it lasts.- PlayStation Country

There is something about Quest of Dungeons which works really well. With a tight gameplay loop there is a lot to like here. Although the enemy AI can be a little simplistic the combat has a fair bit of depth to it and makes the Quest of Dungeons a fun game to play.- PlayStation Country

Cursed Castilla manages to capture the feel of the old arcade games it references perfectly. Tough but fair gameplay is inviting enough to not scare away the less hardcore among us but there is enough content for more skilled players to chew on as well.- PlayStation Country

The Flame in the Flood is an enjoyable game and the survival and crafting elements work really well together. The random aspects add a degree of difficulty which can spike in unexpected ways. Happily though the wonderfully realised river helps the game rise above it’s flaws.- PlayStation Country

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a great Metroidvania style game. A little easy and on the short side but that just means it leaves you wanting more. Unlocking the upgrades and using those abilities to discover new areas is incredibly enjoyable and is only heightened by the high quality and charming presentation.- PlayStation Country

Active Soccer 2 DX is what happens if you copy a twenty year old game but forget to put in any pride, professionalism or playtesting. It’s better than Kick Off Revival though. And that’s what we in the business call the faintest of praise.- PlayStation Country

Starship Disco is a no-thrills rhythm action shooter that benefits from PSVR and the use of a Move controller. While it is short lived and lacks variation, the game offers some immersive, toe-tapping action at a budget price. We like it a lot and will be crossing our fingers hoping for a more fleshed out sequel one day.- PlayStation Country
