TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2 represents a positive step forward. Handling is improved and feels a lot less skittish and unsure. There's still danger and a good sense of speed with sound design working to great effect. Career mode is a lot meatier with some really smart changes to structure and environments remain carefully considered and well designed. Above all, there's a more comprehensive experience here that should keep road racers satisfied.- PlayStation Country

Super Destronaut: Land Wars is a very basic FPS with a nice neo-retro aesthetic but is let down by a serious lack of challenge.- PlayStation Country

Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet is just that, sweet. It’s a cute visual novel with absurdly easy trophies. Sure to appeal to genre fans and trophy whores alike.- PlayStation Country

To be honest, Holfraine's a decent, bare-bones effort that does offer something cheerful in short bursts. It looks cheap in spots and there's not much personality or flair but, with a very cheap price tag, that can be forgiven. The characters have unique uses to them but I feel the map size and objectives cut any efforts to specialise them short. Holfraine's a little too simple for its own good but it's enjoyable.- PlayStation Country

From tense standoff gameplay to the 19th century Louisana meets survival horror PVE elements. Hunt Showdown is a tense, tactical multiplayer experience that circumvents the tired battle-royale genre by being something unique. Excellent sound design and atmospheric visuals round off the package, with only a few infrequent bugs that get in the way.- PlayStation Country

Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt is a good mobile conversion that needs a couple of kinks ironed out, but an accomplished post-THQ Nordic acquisition release from HandyGames.- PlayStation Country

Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection is a great compilation that treats its subject with respect, with features and modes which improve the overall package. The difficulty is high even with the modern additions which may put some people off but fans of this style of game will get plenty of enjoyment out of it.- PlayStation Country

Overpass is a clumsy first effort that tries to explain the basics but leaves the player lacking feedback. The environments are well designed and varied but traversing them frustrates me. ATV's seem especially undercooked and tricky to balance. Career mode gives you something to work towards but it's a slim offering. The ideas are there but the execution leaves me unsatisfied.- PlayStation Country

Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story is fairly likeable. Despite the small shell, there's depth to uncover and a lot of systems to engage with. Combat is interesting and you always seem to have a goal to work towards. Unfortunately, I feel the dungeon's repetitiveness can outstay its welcome but the online aspects and post-game content does try to give players something else to dig into.- PlayStation Country

If you want twelve old NES classics treated with respect then this will be a must-buy. Gamers who didn't play these games back in the day may find the quality of the games to be to hard to swallow.- PlayStation Country

Ganbare! Super Strikers is a tactics-based football game a little bit like Football, Tactics and Glory. Just not as good. We suggest you play that instead.- PlayStation Country

Knightin'+ is a simple hack and slasher that takes no chances with the genre whatsoever but may appeal to adventurers looking for a simple to understand retro-themed challenge.- PlayStation Country

Spaceland may look like an XCOM clone but it offers a more puzzle focused take on the strategy genre. The limited ammo and level challenges make each short level a problem to be solved rather than a battle to endure. The variety suffers a little for it as does the lack of base management to break up the action but it's a fun game to dip in and out of.- PlayStation Country

Reed Remastered is an excellent port of an already good mobile game with an added layer of polish not normally seen in Ratalaika releases. At this price and with the Vita version thrown in, nothing less than essential.- PlayStation Country

To just say ‘this game is fun’ would be the easy way out. It’s a brutal challenge with hellish visuals, doom-laden soundtrack and blood-soaked anarchy. If you like your retro shooter platformers to look, act and feel like they belong in the metal section of your local record store, then Valfaris is one hell of a good time.- PlayStation Country

Darksiders Genesis changes the camera angle but brings a lot of what fans enjoy about the main series. It does get a little repetitive but the road to 100% is addictive and everything's better in co-op.- PlayStation Country

Zero Zero Zero Zero is an uncomplicated game from Ratalaika that provides a solid retro-tinged challenge in a gauntlet of spikes, lazers and a hundred screens of brutal obstacles. This is one to consider if you thought games like N+ and Super Meat Boy were too easy for your liking.- PlayStation Country

At a short runtime, Dawn of Fear feels like a shell of something far grander. Every good aspect feels somewhat cut short in a rush that seems to hamstring any chance of expansion. Whilst the passion for the genre is very evident, the lack of execution and style results in something flat, hollow and just not all that interesting.- PlayStation Country

There is no doubt Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire is a fantastic game, unfortunately the PS4 version is not the best way to play it. The load times along with other technical issues make it difficult to get into at times. It's not broken so you will get enjoyment out of the masses of content, but you'll have to have plenty of patience.- PlayStation Country

Rugby 20 is a playable effort completely let down by the fact, in over two years of development, very little has changed. Game modes remain slim, rigid and it hamstrings a player who wants to devote more time to it. It's more enjoyable to play and carving together tries has a satisfaction to it, but so much of Rugby 20 feels like a shallow retread.- PlayStation Country

Football, Tactics and Glory is a genuinely interesting mix that takes the fundamentals of football and uses them to make a novel turn-based strategy game. It could be slicker, more rewarding and bit fairer at times and it can feel like a step down from the likes of FIFA but actually it's an interesting evolution for the football management genre and while we personally didn't love it, we do love what it is trying to do.- PlayStation Country

Game sequels are generally refinements of a formula. Foxyland 2 isn’t, it’s worse. It’s Alien Covenant to the first game’s Prometheus. Almost everything about it is a retrograde step. Avoid.- PlayStation Country
