Demon's Tier+ is a cleverly designed twin-stick shooting rogue-like that isn't perfect but is compelling and addictive once you understand its clever upgrade system.- PlayStation Country

Desperados III is very similar to Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun but that game was so good I don't mind. The new character's abilities are very unique and there is plenty of content and replayability. Fans of stealth and strategy need these games in their lives.- PlayStation Country

Project Warlock is a welcome surprise. Buckshot Software have pulled off a rare feat by making a retro inspired game that is not overburdened by modernised elements or oversimplified for the sake of a pixel art style. The gameplay is familiar yet refined and the overall package is sure to tick the boxes of many a classic FPS fan thanks to the inventiveness of the levels, creatures and RPG-Lite customisation.- PlayStation Country

Bug Fables is a great ARPG inspired in no small part by the Paper Mario games. It's really rather good.- PlayStation Country

At times, Strawberry Vinegar handles friendship between two children well. There's moments of humour and some good character building on offer. The aesthetics are sickly sweet, twee and a little too much for me. Unfortunately, the good work is undone by some rather awkward, awkward implications. This game takes a rather inevitable turn which I really wish it had the nerve to avoid.- PlayStation Country

Swamps of Corsus is a good DLC for the price. The random nature of the base game means you might struggle to see all the content it offers but the Survival mode is an excellent addition.- PlayStation Country

Trailmakers is a great open world build-em-up with a fantastic campaign mode. The camera in the build screen can be a bit of a pain in the chuff. Just don't call it a Lego game.- PlayStation Country

Castle Pals is an average platformer with absurdly easy trophies. We’ve not marked it down to due to no Vita port, but some might feel that’s an issue.- PlayStation Country

Unfortunately, Tour de France 2020 picks up where the series left off and slowly, very slowly, advances. The package bolsters with new classics and features but the same outdated visuals and problems arise. The license isn't used to the fullest with no rider likenesses and a bare minimum approach to presentation. The cycling remains fine but the lack of excitement and personality makes it hard for me to recommend this year's effort.- PlayStation Country

Many Faces' simple, short-lived gameplay and even simpler visuals mean that you'll likely forget this basic platforming shooter as fast as it'll take you to finish it.- PlayStation Country

Aftermath expands on an already massive amount of content and adds an enjoyable story from the best storytellers in the fighting game genre but damn it's expensive.- PlayStation Country

GORN was an early game on the VR scene and it shows. This is a simple, short game which can feel great when it works but can also frustrate when things don't act as you'd expect.- PlayStation Country

Maneater mixes ferocious combat, addictive exploration and great humour into a perfectly-sized open world where you play as a murderous shark. It's the game we never knew that we needed.- PlayStation Country

Void Point have sought to recreate the Duke Nukem 3D experience that many loved and for most parts, they have succeeded. Ion Fury is a nostalgically familiar and lovingly crafted trip down memory lane for all those 90’s shooter fans that love quipping heroes and as little story as possible. However, the game suffers due to shaky performance in places and samey action throughout.- PlayStation Country

Pixel Ripped 1995 is a great idea with you playing a game within a game. It's a little over reliant on gimmicks and references and the games themselves are a little on the weak side but there are some excellent set pieces and the three hour story is worth a look.- PlayStation Country

Daymare 1998 wears its influence firmly and proudly. It's a decision that stifles creativity and invention when it comes to enemy and environmental design. Whilst a poor imitation in terms of quality and polish, there's some charm to this. The voice acting and writing have an appropriately goofy tone whilst the combat is competent. It feels too linear for my liking but the inventory management has some interesting quirks.- PlayStation Country

Fury Unleashed is a superb rogue-lite where your skills grow alongside your character's. Stringing together a long combo is rewarding in itself but also rewarded by making Fury more powerful, in theory helping you continue the combo. High level play will be something to behold.- PlayStation Country

John Wick Hex is an unexpected take on an action franchise but it mostly works. With a bigger budget you can imagine the possiblities, but what we have got really does put you in the headspace of Baba Yaga.- PlayStation Country

There's a fun game buried away inside Spuds Unearthed's needlessly complicated exterior but even when you figure out what's going on, a chronic lack of challenge kills the game before it ever really gets going.- PlayStation Country

Telling Lies manages to deliver an intricate and intriguing tale within a format that still manages to engage. Digging through the files and uncovering new information can be enjoyable and insightful. It could do with a few conveniences and the interface still likes to withhold information, but there's a provocative tale here. It's backed up with some incredible writing and stellar performances across the board.- PlayStation Country

Gun Crazy is a short, side scrolling, run and gun shooter. Being from Ratalaika it's an easy platinum but the game itself doesn't last much longer unless you set yourself the challenge of beating it in 1CC mode. There is some depth to the controls but the short run time stops the game from really getting going.- PlayStation Country
