A fine concept isn't enough on its own merit... Especially with repetitive mission design and a control scheme that never manages to work properly. Skip it!

Lost Sphear is old school to the bone and all the better for it. A lengthy experience, this RPG does everything the way the golden oldies did... Though to call it unique or special would be a bridge too far.

Especially enjoyable in co-op, Monster Hunter World offers a tremendous amount of challenge and exploration, enough to keep fans busy for months or years to come. If not for the limited crafting options and graphical glitches, this game might have warranted a perfect score.

Same old, same old... Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory delivers more of the same and is therefore more than good enough... The incredibly slow starting hours, however, do kind of hurt the overall experience.

It's a bit brief and the controls are lacking, but don't let that keep you from giving InnerSpace a shot. It's a relaxing experience with a unique, colourful style, that really makes it stick out from the pack.

Sky Force Reloaded is a pleasant surprise. It's a slightly repetitive, but always challenging experience that impresses with an unconventional progression system. Fans of Resogun need not doubt.

Like all quiz games, this one has an expiration date. It's good fun until the questions start to repeat themselves.

Dead Rising 4 continues the series' focus on absurd fun, with a mixture of insane weaponry and idiotic enemies. It makes for a cute singleplayer adventure, to be sure, though the same cannot be said for the game's repetitive multiplayer, which flatout doesn't always work properly.

A great story on its own just isn't enough to warrant a purchase. Not when it's hampered by an ungodly amount of framedrops and loading times, as well as lackluster controls. Shame, cause this tale deserved to be told in a better way.

It looks good and it is quite enjoyable, though in the end it's still just a fishing game with an inaccurate rod as its main annoyance.

Graphically, it's difficult to do better on VR and the great soundtrack will remain stuck in our heads for a while, though none of these high points quite make up for the clumsy control scheme.

The world reminded us of Pixar, which is always a compliment, and there's a satisfying amount of enjoyable puzzles. However, the degree of frustration should not be underestimated and the story ultimately feels like a missed opportunity.

A varied collection of songs and a number of interesting modes make SingStar Celebration the ultimate karaoke game. Using your phone to capture your voice works fine... though at times it will pick up your friend's baritone as well, with unpredictable results.

A decent port, that nevertheless suffers from a number of technical issues, chief among which a number of framedrops, long loading times and a cursor that doesn't exactly work as intuitively as it should.

Once upon a time Outcast was a pioneer. Unfortunately, if Second Contact proves anything, it's that sometimes you should just leave the past alone.

As an interactive movie, you could do a lot worse than Hidden Agenda. However, technical issues and a number of unsatisfying endings are flaws that deserve to be mentioned.

In this game, just about everything feels wrong. The story isn't interesting, the missions are frustrating, the graphics are extremely mediocre and the soundtrack's boring. There are a lot of customization options, yes... but if that's the only good thing about your game, it becomes rather difficult to recommend it.

The best LEGO-game of the year, even if it keeps playing it safe, offering the same old formula that's apparently been successful since the dawn of time.

There's a lot to love here, but unfortunately, none of these things quite manage to escape from the big loot box-shaped shadow that's hanging over the franchise. For now, do not buy this.

It's better than its predecessor, but Demon Gaze II fails to make a lasting impression. The main culprits are the mediocre graphics and clichéd storyline. These flaws aren't gamebreaking, but they're serious enough to consider spending your hard-earned money elsewhere.

There's a lot to do in Slayaway Camp: Butcher's Cut and most of it is actually a lot of fun. Quite surprising for a mobile game, ported to PS4. Shame the price tag is a little high.

The old-fashioned 2D-levels are - as always - a treat, while the 3D-levels once more disappoint with wooden controls and confusing perspectives. Just stick to 2D, folk - you'll be all the better for it.

To the naysayers: Call of Duty is back in a big way, paradoxically delving back into the past to present a fresher narrative and gameplay experience than we've not seen in years.
