Quidditch is a fun, but ultimately unbalanced imaginary sport. It provides a truly exciting experience in multiplayer, which is unfortunately still missing a 6v6 mode. The single player, on the other hand, suffers from chaotic role-switching and unbalanced roles in general. Quidditch Champions is a good game that severely lacks content to be fully enjoyed in the longer term.- PLAY! Zine

If you would call this a poor man's Persona, you would not be far from the truth. But is there really no beauty in poverty? Yeah, this game made us think about stuff way too much, but that does not mean it is not a great and fun title. It lacks a bit of polish but still offers plenty of reasons for you to grab a Switch and delve into its world of lies, mystery and moral dilemmas. Oh and some catchy j-pop too!- PLAY! Zine

A fast-paced title in both terms of gameplay and narration, The Princess Guide is not the deepest of games action-wise but surely is a fun experience. The visual style itself should be enough to get you hooked if you are in any sense an anime fan. If not, there are plenty of other games out there for you! But it won't make this game a bad one, even if you do skip it.- PLAY! Zine

Nioh is a really challenging game. Sometimes, maybe even too much so. You have to be at the top of your game just to keep your head on your shoulders. So it's also the perfect example of whether a game's difficulty is just enough to announce the title as a "successful" one or not. Also, that's the reason that we can only recommend Nioh to the biggest hardcore gamers out there.- PLAY! Zine

It may not be all that much different to the previous two games in the series, but Mario Strikers: Battle League still manages to be an extremely fun game, especially when playing with multiple friends. The lack of content steals its potential shine, but for what it is – it does a great job at making you have some quality fun.- PLAY! Zine

Even though it’s a relatively short game that doesn't bring anything new to the table, Starship Troopers: Terran Command is a joy to play. If you're a fan of the movies, you definitely shouldn't miss this game, and the same goes for all RTS fans.- PLAY! Zine

Another Code: Recollection is a charming collection of two titles, remade with enough love to make them as enjoyable as they once were. A set of new mechanics, beautifully remade graphics, and a selection of wonderful characters make Another Code: Recollection one of the better titles of this kind you’ll be able to play in 2024.- PLAY! The Quarry does a fine job as a spiritual successor to the renowned Until Dawn, yet takes a few steps forward when it comes to character development and atmosphere building. Unfortunately, it sacrifices a few elements in the process which makes it a not so scary interactive movie more than a video game. Still, for lovers of the genre and Supermassive Games legacy – it’s a treat you should not miss.- PLAY! Zine

Personally, I wouldn't say I liked Armored Core 6 since I was still high on the Elden Ring rush. As a rare mech game, it does a really good job at making you feel like you’re riding a powerful mech but it has little substance. Armoured Core 6 feels like a boss rush game with detail in mech customization, but the story lacks depth and engagement. Environments, granted very beautiful at times, are vast and vertical but feel like shallow backdrops or cardboard arenas you’d see in Power Rangers mech fights. AC6 will please many AC fans, but I don’t think it’s as strong as the other From Software titles.- PLAY! Zine

Agatha Christie – Murder on the Orient Express is a great detective game, and the best part is that you don’t have to read the source material to enjoy it. It has some issues though - the choices in the game don’t really matter in the long run, and the setting is very, very bizarre - if you’re a long time Agatha Christie and Hercule Poirot fan, you will probably find it to be pretty jarring.- PLAY! Quantum Break is a dual experience - on one side is its great and interesting story with many interesting ideas, but on the other is mediocre gameplay. At the end, this is a game worth playing, especially if you're a completionist, but not a journey you'd be willing to take once more.- PLAY! Zine

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an homage, a cover band of the early iterations of the series that tries as hard as it can to be respectful and bring the players back to the core of Assassin’s Creed. However, very basic combat and stealth mechanics, boring and forgettable story and clunky parkour mechanics are holding it back from being a truly great AC title. It does feel like an old Assassin’s Creed game, but it doesn’t play like one.- PLAY! Zine

Motorfest is a great addition to The Crew franchise with some great changes and additions, providing players with one of the best arcade driving systems to date. However, with its lacklustre usage of a marvellous open world and weird design limitations, it certainly could be better. Despite these flaws, it is still one of the most exciting driving games.- PLAY! Zine

Run, jump, squash your foes, grab some coins then repeat. A formula so simple, but it still works like a charm. For the entry price, Goblin and Coins is one cute distraction.- PLAY! Zine

Atomfall blends post-apocalyptic survival with British folklore in a unique narrative-driven open world. The game features exploration, NPC interactions, and challenging inventory mechanics, with impressive graphics and an immersive atmosphere. It’s a promising start for a potential new franchise.- PLAY! Zine

The Invincible is a walking simulator with superb voice acting, perfect pacing, gorgeous alien scenery, intriguing space mystery, and an excellent soundtrack. Unfortunately, outdated and frustrating traversal mechanics are making the experience worse, but if you love Atompunk and retrofuturism, you should absolutely give this one a try.- PLAY! Zine

Shu is a pretty and emotional journey whose atmosphere building is just like my love towards soccer - non-existent. It looks and plays nice, but ultimately fails to capture our hearts with its cute yet flawed storytelling.- PLAY! Zine

You can almost smell the confines of the original platform from which Monster Hunter Stories emerged. A tiny, linear, and restricted 3DS title did not lose much of its likeability, though. With just a little bit of facelift, Stories oozes charm once more.- PLAY! Zine

ReSetna is an ambitious metroidvania that starts off slow but becomes a joy to play after the first hour. With clearer exploration hints and more responsive combat feedback, it could be even better. While the game is receiving frequent updates to fix bugs and refine some questionable design choices, I can’t help but feel it would have benefited from an Early Access release—allowing it to grow its audience over time.- PLAY!
